  1. He played well in 2006????? What? The guy has been inactive more games than active. He embodies the "healthy scratch." I really think Bill Polian was pranked when the Colts had traded for them. I don't think he even failed the physical. I think Polian found out and yelled at Marv till he agreed to take him back.
  2. Is this a serious post or am I just missing the sarcasm?
  3. I wish I had any sense of the confidence you do. I just don't see anything more than a career backup in Trentative.
  4. I called customer retention today and the big offer they were willing to give me was the early bird renewal price of $299. Frankly I would have settled for some HBO, etc. since Entourage is coming back in a couple of weeks but got nowhere.
  5. Are you trying to get the team under a non-existent salary cap? The only thing freed up is Ralph doesn't have to pay him potentially. Unless you are Ralphs CPA it is completely irrelevant.
  6. I think the Wegman's comment thread is absolutely correct. I'm shocked no one has mentioned the UFL yet as well. how many former NFL players occupied those 6 (4?) teams last year. The quality of play will be different but they have no leverage. This is a league of teams not players. The NBA is a league of players, personalities.
  7. I've got to join the Locker/Mallet answers. The only way Trent does this is if the Bills are getting absolutely rolled in the first half and he just has to pass against the prevent for 3 quarters. Then again.....it probably will be Trent.
  8. I think thats before the extra fee for HD as well isn't it? For the first time in 13 years I'm not getting it. Between the Bills ineptitude and the price increase it has lost its appeal. Of course if they turn this ship around next year I'll be back.
  9. I've guessed I've missed something. I have not seen quickness or any ability to move in space. I don't think he can cover anybody out of the backfield or a TE and he doesn't have the quickness to get to the backfield. I really believe he is going to be cut. If Schoebel surprises and comes back its a definite. If the good character is so important get him some pom-poms or a clipboard. He was the typical Marv pick. White guy with a "high motor." Unfortunately it has been stuck in neutral for his career.
  10. I have to echo that sentiment. They used it inside the 10 always. Edwards would never throw INTO the end zone. Either a screen or draw.
  11. I just got back from Vegas. The Bills had the biggest odds. 250-1 to win the AFC. 500-1 for Super Bowl.
  12. The only thing more overrated compared to Coach Levy was GM Levy. One underachiever blessed with talent another a cancer that lasts long after its removed from the body.
  13. I think you meant 33. I agree the Bills have to get him number one overall. No waiting till the 2nd round.
  14. Or a single $$ worth of merchandise and for the first time in over a decade for me The Sunday Ticket.
  15. Sounds about right. Let's not drink the Nix-Aid all the time.
  16. As Bills fans everyone just needs to come to grips with the fact that the team will be VERY bad this year and better the following year and probably challenge for a playoff spot the third year. Sounds awful and what we've just done but in reality it is probably a lot closer to the truth than Nix and Gailey would admit publicly.
  17. And yet the Bills somehow finished 30th against the run? How about that stat?
  18. Thanks for the post. Frankly considering this entire year is going to be developmental for the team as a whole - why not just throw the kid out there and see what he has to offer. Between him and Brohm there is at least the benefit of the unknown compared to Edwards and Fitzpatrick who have shown they have nothing special.
  19. As I'm reading the article I'm saying to myself, "sounds like Xavier Omon" then the writer goes out of his way to say that he isn't. Training camp fodder at best.
  20. I have to agree with the highlighted portion. That is as big a question mark as to who will play the tackles. I know "reports are" he is ahead of schedule, etc. but really how often do you ever hear a team admit someone is behind schedule or yeah he's never going to be the same player after that injury. He seems like a good kid and for his sake I hope he can come back and play at the same level as last year or higher. We'll have to see but it would not be shocking for him to miss the first 6 weeks on the PUP list in order to let him completely recover.
  21. Very interesting question!! I guess I would come down somewhere in the middle with it being bittersweet. Yes it still "counts" but it will always have the asterisk attached to it whether officially or not.
  22. Well you gotta have some collectors. Maybe some more muscle. Testers? Recruiters? Publicists? Wardrobe technicians? As a famous man once said "Pimpin' ain't easy!"
  23. I think they will be fairly equal in their lack of contribution this year.
  24. Yawn....camp fodder. They don't want an NFL QB getting hurt or getting his arm too tired.
