Interesting. Hard to compare the two 1:1 given their respective locations though. TEN’s stadium looks the part as a downtown destination. The roof is obviously so they can bid for a super bowl. New Bills’ stadium is out in a outer ring suburb. Doesn’t make much sense to put up some sort of brick facade thing out there.

Yep.  They probably will get that super bowl too.  Seems like the Titans wanted something that is more of an entertainment venue. Bills wanted a football stadium.  Tailgating culture in Buffalo handles what the outdoor decks at the Titans venue is trying to create.  Win-win for both.

The Tennessee Stadium blows this proposed stadium out of the water, the deck idea with greenery and chairs is outstanding.

How so?   Why would Buffalo need a deck when deck activities are being done in the parking lots already?  there will be plenty of green space at the new stadium too if the Bills rep is to be believed.

Tennessee is building an entertainment venue.  Bills are building a football stadium just as they said they would.

Nashville is loaded with $$$. So they, and other rich cities can trash talk us on how superior their stadium is. And we can trash them on how Josh and the boys humiliated them on the prime time!!!

From what I’ve seen on Twitter a lot of Titans fans prefer the Bills stadium.   It seems the condo/Starbucks look of the Titans new joint isn’t sitting well.  A lot are also unhappy with it having a fixed roof.

Listening to the Schopp/Bulldog show tonight. Schopp is not on the air. He has a day off.

I find the show surprisingly listenable without Schopp and his addictions to gambling, fantasy leagues and his ego.

I don’t mind Bulldog, but how they can’t find a newsreader who can actually read copy between segments, without stumbling over it - every time - I’ll never understand.

I don’t like it. Injury prone RB in a contract year playing with a limited sample size.

We’d be mortgaging future draft picks for a 1 season rental and then surely letting him walk in FA because we don’t have the cap space to pay him the kind of money he could fetch in the open market.

It reeks of desperation and of making a move for the sake of making a move.

If he’s injury prone, with a limited sample size, why do you think he could fetch a lot of money on the open market?

Bills are in win now mode.  See Von Miller.  It’s not desperate, it’s putting all chips in.  Beane won’t do it just to do it.  If he could get Barkley at the right price he would consider it if there’s an injury necessity.

As it stands,  the running game issues are offensive line related, not RB related (at least this past Sunday).  So I doubt we see Beane trade for Barkley.

I was thinking the same thing. I think Kay is more fantasy focused but her replacement seems really deep in her football knowledge and was good on the SEC too. That new foursome’s chemistry is there already although I miss Nate. I also noticed Jamie was pretty athletic out there tossing and running with the guys. She is a natural for the show.

    She was a basketball player.

I know somebody who was flying in for the game on Saturday, first class...OJ was sitting in front of him.  He's doing okay.  Loved the guy growing up (who didn't?) but am kind of pissed off that he is now glomming on to the current Bills...if they have the kind of year that many are expecting. no doubt it won't go unnoticed.

He was at games when the Bills were doing badly too, (early 2000s) just like other Bills alumni and usually sitting in a suite.  It’s not as deep as you want to make it out to be.

    - 12th in yards per game

    - 1st in TDs per game

    - 7th in yards per target

    - 1st in passer rating when targeted

    - Is a very good blocker

They’re probably about to give him the targets he deserves and wanted to extend him before his market price shoots through the roof.

Don’t count on his targets going up significantly.  Diggs and Davis will be open a lot and Allen will find them.  A lot.  McKenzie too.

Glad they got in done now, he's probably going to have a big year. Would have been nice to get it done before the absurd Njoku contract though, stupid Cleveland definitely cost us some money.

In fairness, if one isn’t a Bills fan, Knox’s contract will look absurd too.  They both are very athletic TEs, flash major potential, get the dropsies and don’t have big overall stats.  The Browns didn’t have Josh Allen either. QB play in Cleveland has been spotty.

I hear you.  Dallas definitely does.

Agreed.  They don’t want to lose Knox.  Next year Oliver, and Gabe probably.

Poyer might be getting the short straw and I hate it as his play hasn’t declined even slightly, but we can’t pay some of these stupid contracts like what has come out lately.  Singletary is gone or accepts a modest contract, and Bernard has a red shirt year, but will back up Edmunds.

Its good business.  These WR contracts lately have been ridiculous.  I really hope we can retain Gabe, but that’s for another day.

I hope they can do something for Poyer.  Him and Hyde have a big hand in this turnaround.  I don’t see Motor costing a lot and he is a good player.  How much does the cap go up is what we need to find out.

If we freed up cap space and didn't spend it on our own players, I think it could have a negative impact on the locker room.  We have 4 key (and beloved amongst their teammates) players in that locker room, 2 from each side of the ball, in need of a new contract:  Poyer, Edmunds, Knox, and Devin...not mention Ed Oliver will be in his 5th year option next year and in line for a new deal.  So, I would be shocked if we restructured and then spent the money on someone outside the team.

If we free any cap space up, my guess is Poyer gets an extension before the season starts.  I think the plan is to wait and see how this season plays out with the other 3 right now.

Agree on Poyer.  But I believe one of the others gets done during the season.  Like what happened with Taron Johnson.  My bet is Knox.

    That is very sad.

But I can't help but ask. How are the citizens of Buffalo going to afford PSLS and the quadrupled price of season tickets when the new stadium opens ?

Hopefully the stadium won't be half empty filled with corporate executives

Tickets are selling now at these crazy prices.  People will be at the games.  Now are they the table jumping, set self on fire, drunk, drunk and fighting crowd?  Maybe not.

There’s always pre-season games for people who just want to take kids to a game, but can’t afford regular season prices.

Watching that nifty little graphic, what's impressive to me is that I think Allen had at least 2 other options

Watching this, what's impressive is Allen's trust in his tackles.

Steps up, glances over at Dawkins "whups, doesn't have leverage where I'm at", does a little spin move, steps back, and refocuses downfield - all the confidence in the world that he's gonna have time.

First game action.  He had to get used to the pass rush.  He didn’t need the 360.  But it looked good in the highlights.

    That makes literally no sense

They can use a red helmet but with a logo that was never used with the red helmets?

The New league rules say you can pair a new helmet… With your color rush, Alternate, Or classic

The bills can make the 90s jersey the alternate and make the red helmets with the charging buffalo… What’s stopping them from that

The 60s- early 70s throwbacks should stay the throwback unis.  They are actually different.  The 90s jerseys are basically the current jerseys with minor differences.  Why use that for a throwback?

I didn’t watch that much in the past, but never felt that Nate added much, and that Kay was always overrated whether she was talking, or just sitting there(her looks).

Always seemed to be the Kyle and Peter show, and they are both still there.

Nate went to fry bigger fish on CBS.

Amazing to see Commanders so high at 8.  They are so disfunctional with Snyder at the helm and a seemingly thin fan base.

The DMV has a lot of money and population.  I suspect in these valuations some factors are weighted heavier than others just like a credit report.  While team performance is factored in, market size and corporate involvement is probably weighted more heavily into the overall number.  When they get a new stadium they will climb even higher.

Now the Packers valuation surprises me.
