I am so thankful that awful deal with AT&T and Direct TV is over with. Where i am located AT&T tried to place you into cable bondage just to get the Sunday Ticket. I refused to do so because among the requirements was a long term contract. Not to mention DirectTV burned me about a decade ago and I went from loyal customer to hating them with a passion.
Their customer service is Cheeks. I don’t know how they have any customers at all.

I see several threads trying to go after Dorsey in this game... but I was a lot more disappointed in the defensive performance, especially in the running game.
Most NFL teams do this same thing. Same as many DB’s in pro and colleges don’t turn and find the ball anymore. Techniques have gone downhill.

When Edmunds was out earlier this season we saw how many issues the D had. Tonight was bad run D in the first half, good run D in the second half. Dolphins have weapons, it’s a division game. Not surprised it was a dogfight. Folks can run Edmunds off if they want to. He wouldn’t be easily replaced.

The DMV most definitely gets very cold at times. Diggs is from Montgomery County Maryland. Gaithersburg if I recall correctly.

Nah. It’s offensive line. Too inconsistent. It’s also playcalling. Motor runs well but 8 or 9 carries won’t get it. Dorsey forgets about the running game too often.

NHL has 8 teams, MLB has 6 teams. Nobody has any byes. All of those sports play far more games than the NFL. Granted, the physical toll is different for NFL players, but still.
It used to be the top 2 teams that got a bye when there were 6 teams. Why when there could have been 3 normal playoff games, I am not sure of. Now that they expanded to 7, obvious one team has to get a bye. Expanding to 8 should eliminate the bye and the unfair advantage that it gives them.
No. 7 is already too many. Half the league in the playoffs would be a joke.

If there is a different direction on D then McDermott has abandoned his stated defensive principles. He and Frazier come from the same defensive hive mind: DL pass rush of 4 that gets pressure and use a rotation of them. Zone for the most part in the back 7. Frazier is there, in part, for that reason. If he’s gone guess what the next DC will most likely run.
McDermott isn’t all of sudden changing his mind on the defense he believes in.

Turning the ball over in the red zone will cause a team to struggle. It costs points and makes games closer than they otherwise might be. Do that across multiple weeks what do we have? Dogfight games. That’s just basic principles of football. He needs to stop turning the ball over in the red zone. Period.
Yet, He’s still the guy I want leading the team. He’s a dog and he’ll get it together eventually. Both thoughts can co-exist. -

There was no stated return date from the team. Conjecture and comparison doesn’t create a fact. He’ll be back when the team deems him ready. Why would anyone want him back if he wasn’t? The same mofo’s whining about him not being active would be wanting him cut if he didn’t play well.

Same D he’s run from the beginning of his and McD’s tenure. The same D McD ran in Carolina. It’s not fear; they believe in a 4 man rush with a rotation of D lineman. You don’t have to like it but it is a defensive principal they believe in.

McD has nothing to do with 17 being careless with the rock. 2 games he’s cost them with bad decisions and poor execution. Why does anyone think that couldn’t happen with a different coach?

The Vikes had their highest yardage output of the season today and converted countless 3rd & 4th and long plays. I frankly don't even remember the last time Minnesota punted. Did anyone honestly think that the D would force a punt in OT?
Up 27-10 late in the third quarter, the Vikes gash the Bills for an 81-yard TD (let me guess, Sean - bad run fit, and you'll get that fixed!), score a TD on their next drive, and then march 75 yards, only to get stopped on 4th and goal from the 1. In OT, they fairly easily drove downfield for the GW FG.
Is this the mark of a good defense?
Bills offense isn’t missing any starters. Jackson got an INT, offense did nothing with it.
Offense fumbled inside Vikings territory. 2 INT’s in the end zone. Fumble a damn snap on the goal line after D holds on 4th down.
D played well enough to win. Game shouldn’t have been close. But the offense keeps giving the ball and the points away. And the OC doesn’t seem to know when to call a running play.

Josh: two horrible, horrible picks that would even make Justin Fields blush. Josh couldn’t make any throws and even ones where he connected, he was off target preventing YAC. Notably is the first pass of the game to Diggs, if that is accurate, that’s a TD. Same with the overthrow of Hines and Diggs later in the game. Just a terrible performance by him. Jaquan Johnson: he was absolutely brutal today. Just like giving up the bomb on 3rd and 15 that would be the go ahead touchdown against Miami, he cost us this game. He had numerous missed tackles, poor instincts, bad angles, weak in coverage. The last drive alone the kept running to the weak side right at him and he couldn’t stop squat. I honestly don’t see how they can start him from now on with dean Marlowe now here. Anytime JJ is on the field, we can’t stop anything.
Coaches: bad game plan. Seems like we didn’t have any game plan on offense at all. They just want Josh to go out and make a play which is terrible. Frazier couldn’t do anything on defense to stop the run for two weeks in a row.
D played well enough to win. 17 gotta stop giving the ball away.

Go to the games or don’t go to the games. There’s no roof coming. It’s settled. There’s no meat left on the bones of this dead issue. I vehemently wanted the stadium downtown. The Pegula’s chose to keep it in OP. I’m not complaining about it in perpetuity.
There’s a roof on your home, stay there and watch the game in comfort; eat and drink what you want to eat and drink, keep the company you want to keep, get the biggest flat screen you can and see all the great camera angles from the TV broadcast. Pray the serenity prayer.
