  1. I can't think off too many who have made drastic improvements with footwork and pocket presence either.
  2. I'm a little iffy on Cahomes. I realize he has a lot of potential but I can't think of too many guys who have successfully reworked their mechanics. He seems much more likely to be the guy who teases you with flashes of greatness but never quite puts it all together.
  3. You're confusing the concept of price elasticity with exemption from the immutable law of supply and demand. All of the items you listed are subject to supply and demand. It's the primary reason the price of gas has seen mass fluctuations over the last decade and change. When governments intervene to obscure or eliminate those forces you end up with soaring costs or shortages. There is no exception to the rule.
  4. Drafting has been halfway decent as far as selecting talented players. The draft problem has been 3 fold: wasting picks to trade up, switching coaches with drastically different schemes (poor fits for previously drafted players), and poor QB scouting. Who's to blame? Hard to say. Normally I'd blame the GM. Perhaps that's appropriate here. But the bizarre Whaley press conferences makes me wonder if he's really a GM in the traditional sense or if he's just a glorified scout. Whoever is to blame, the approach has been short sighted in recent years. There's a lot to be said for continuity. If things are going in the wrong direction maybe it's better to pull the plug sooner rather than later, but unless you're willing to commit to a philosophy for 3-5 years you're either hoping for a lucky break or you're just spinning your wheels.
  5. Obama got his dick sucked by the mass media for the entirety of his presidency.

  7. The bigger point is that none of these people give a monkey's fu©k about any of this. It's just an excuse to attack President Trump.
  8. That's a pretty flimsy argument. It's not that it isn't "relevant" in certain parts of the country. It's that it is logistically impossible to pick and apply a single figure across the country and get the desired effect.
  9. The whole concept of a federal minimum wage is retarded because of the gross disparity in the value of a dollar across various locations. It's self-evident that an area with a median income of $40 would not support the same minimum wage as an area with a median income in excess of $100k. All the sanctimonious bull **** in the world can't change that simple reality that !@#$s the entire argument. But logic and reason are no match for wet kitty politics.
  10. I believed that left-wing liberals were genuinely concerned about the Russia-Trump conspiracy. I'm willing to admit I was wrong.
  11. So you're ok with state imposed censorship?
  12. Got to give credit where credit is due.
  13. This guy really makes the case https://youtu.be/QoJrjjy0WeU
  14. Just another battle in the left's war on whiteness.
  15. It's a subjective thing. For the guy with a Bridgewater jersey it's bad news. For Bradford's backup it's good news.
  16. He also went from a guy who looked like he was throwing to Randy Moss to a guy who wasn't.
  17. God willing, I will never be made to sit through another episode of How to Get Away With Murder.
  18. Unless we're giving Whaley credit for acquisitions made while Nix was GM Whaley never built anything on defense.
  19. Don't forget best backup in the league.
  20. If your going to be condescending at least get you're grammar right when you do so. And I'm not so much referring to present political hostilities as I am cultural hostilities. But either way you still don't give me a reason to support this importation. I say I don't want to import people hostile to our culture and you admit they're hostile but say it's our fault. Even if I accept your premise, it still means they're hostile and I don't want mass importation of people who are hostile toward us. And their culture is miles away from what you'd ever accept from anyone born in the west.
  21. At first reading I thought he was a middle linebacker who took the top.
  22. That's the key right there - assimilation. People who want to assimilate aren't the problem.
  23. They're hostile to our culture because people like me recognize the hostility toward our culture? That's your theory?
