I totally agree that the coaching is sub-par. The team was not prepared. It wasn't about dropping the first game against the jets. It was about being destroyed by the Jets.

Let's face it, Fritz has been awful since he either bruised a rib or filled his wallet...you pick. Vince had a horrible pre-season game and he was history. Fritz throws three interceptions in the first game of the regular season and he is still hanging in there. How much more time is he going to get? One more bad performance and Chan knows he will be looking for a job himself. The alternatives now are Thigpin and Jackson. Jackson who went from starter to 3rd at Seattle. I think Vince deserves another go. Right now we have nothing to loose except the season.... Love to hear your takes on this...flame away.-__

Absolutely. I did not see Gailey get upset. I did not see any players getting pumped up...getting angry. Gailey is so psyched by Rexie that he will never beat him. Play calling was horrendous. So much for Gailey the offensive wiz kid.

Worst defensive play in a long time. All that money..all that hope... NADA. Jets creamed us.

He was the guy I wanted to see succeed the most. I am sorry to see him go.. That said I am glad to see the coaching staff making the decisions that need to be made.

The fines and penalties levied against Penn State are appropriate. But my biggest beef is that the NCAA itself escapes all blame in this. The NCAA has stood by for years as colleges make millions on their football programs awarding elite athletes with nothing more than scholarships. Wether these kids graduate or not is not their concern as long as they play and bring in the dollars. The money and greed has been shown to fog the judgement of the people in charge more than once.

Absolutely agree with this...it is a one year "test the water" agreement. If Vincent throws a hissy fit he will be out on his butt. If he proves his immaturity is behind him he will have a future.

I agree. What can it hurt. My only concern about the guy is he is emotional health. If he has that in check finally this might be a good thing!

As a Bills and USC fan, I was really intrigued by this signing. I knew of him (and his bad luck) at USC. He was, in my humble opinion, a pretty good quarterback. Truthfully I always liked him better than Matt Barkley. I hope his luck changes under Chan.
