Bright spot stat so far this year
AllDayADay replied to metzelaars_lives's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel the same way about the running game but it comes at the cost of coverage. I think the run defense will get only better once we replace williams and stroud with troup and carringtion. -
Give us Tom Modrak's Head to Keep Us Interested
AllDayADay replied to Gabe Northern's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not really defending him because I heard he was in charge of the 08 draft, which wasnt great. But, to say that we could have this player or that player is totally ridiculous. Every team could say the same thing. And have more valid points (lacks of talent) than us. 2-0 is bad, but Nix just got here, how much overhauling do you want this guy to do? He knows the SEC and so does the new scout Moody, that is where most of the talent comes from. Especially Ryan Mallett, who im sure there is a BIlls scout at every one of his games this season. -
Theres no doubt we go with one of the big qbs in the draft now. Mallett preferably

I dont think the NFL has passed him by, but he def has to shake some rust off in his play calling duties.

You guys will always find SOMETHING to get upset about. Does Belicheck get emotion like that little puppet Soprano? I think BB is a dman good coach. I like coaches that are cool, calm and collected. Tony Dungy wasnt bad either.

hahaha.. Good comparison

Trent, Study Joe Flacco!
AllDayADay replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking the same thing when i was watching the game. Flacco isnt great. Has better targets and a better arm. besides that there isnt too much of a diff. -
Nix says Poz is NOT serious......
AllDayADay replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Ellison will get the start. With a pass-happy team, like the Packers, I think Ellison is best suited for this game. Have akin ayodele come in on 1st maybe 2nd down and maybe play some B Scott on obvious passing downs, we saw yesterday he can rush the passer too. -
Early signs not looking too promising for Poz
AllDayADay replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2 weeks. I knew after seeing him on the sideline it wasnt going to be seaosn-ending. I think you guys like to be mad and hate on something sometimes. Like POZ's injuries. Injuries happen guys! -
Dal/Wash/NO, and Minn Offense was bad as well
AllDayADay replied to buffalopdc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really like your optimism and how you point out that other offenses struggled as well. The lack of penalty was a plus. But, I just dont understand the lack of runninng in the beginning of the game. i mean we really didnt even try to run to begiun with. I feel like that was the difference between teams today. Henne is no better than Trent, maybe worse. I still billieve we will get it together. -
First Time I Have EVER Returned From Home Opener
AllDayADay replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't understand the route choice in the two last drive. I also didnt get CJ no being in there towards the end. I mean the guy could take it the distance on any down. Very disappointing... -
I hope hes just shaken up

Hard to sleep is an understatement... Kept waking up and thinking I was going to miss the game. So glad it is here!!!!!

Just saying congrats to everyone for making it for the season opener. Its been over 7 months since the last meaningful Bills game and we as fans deserve something for putting up with no football until now. So hear it is, congrats everyone, today is the day we have been waiting for. ENJOY and Squish The Fish!!!

When we first switched to a 3-4 and then we got George Edwards. I thought Akin Ayodele was coming here for sure. Then we signed Davis which I also like, but I know Akin has familiarity in George Edwards defense. Kawika looked slow in pre-season, but its still a tough break for him and the team. Akin does a lot of charity work, I know this because I am from south florida and he was getting involved with a charity my mom was organizing.

Good for Corey. For all the crap he went through last year this is really good to see. Good special teams value and looked good run blocking and receiving out of the backfield.
-
D d d didnt see it...

Per rotowrld.. If they dont trade him, he may be released.. I would take him and then get rid of the condaro howard kid, who looks like a slightly smaller, but still as slow, Langston Walker.

I mean the guy seemed like he is going to be good but I didnt know alll that. Great to hear. Nothing like gretting a guy over our rivals, for free! This guy seems like a bigger eric wood. Maybe if Wood had to go to center he would take over for him at RG. Would love to see those two mean muggers on the field at the same time, standing side by side nonetheless. http://www.steelersdepot.com/2009/04/steelers-draft-t-kraig-urbik-with-79th-pick-of-third-round/ Found this. Looks like this guy is a keeper! Mean, nasty, athletic. Should fit right in the interior with Wood and Levitre for years to come. That would make them all 2009 draft picks going round 1, 2 and 3.

HOLY INTERCEPTIONS! BILLS KEEP 10 DBs???

And more speed on the field. -
HOLY INTERCEPTIONS! BILLS KEEP 10 DBs???
AllDayADay replied to Dr. Trooth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I chalked up the decision to is the amount of dbs we will playing at one time. In the preseason (and i dont normally put a lot of stock in the presseason) I saw 6 to 7 dbs playing at one time. The nickel and dime packages looked to have 4 corners, 3 safeties. Bryon Scott has been playing a lot like a linebacker. I think its a good idea to bring more flexibility. -
I just watched the episode and didnt hear him say that.. When was it? I think we can have a better record then them. I just had an argument with a friend, because i said we are going to finish 2nd in the division (he is a dolphins fan). I think the Jets and the Dolphins are in the same boat this year. Overrated qbs, o-line that is worse than last year, and getting high priced players. The pats are the only ones I am concerned about.

I think olsen would be a great fit. His blocking is underrated and he is a huge redzone threat. I would take him for a 4th round pick. Maybe a 3rd.

AFC East Division Predictions
AllDayADay replied to Billshank Redemption's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love how in the preview the anchor said "well see how many games the patriots, jets, and dolphins will next year." It made me laugh out loud. Not only that, but did anyone notice they showed our lowlights when they showed everyone (including the Dolphins who have very few highlights this preseason) highlights. Its comical at this point. .
