This is the WORST and boring offense in Bill's history
mob16151 replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Worst offense ever huh? I don't suppose you remember Gregg Williams era as HC do you. Heck this isn't even the worst Bills offense of the decade. -

Or concievably maybe our Offensive scheme is unimaginitive because our QB's suck. -
No he was referencing the fact that Bills fans would have been labelling Smith a bust as well. And if were honest here we're all overreacting just a little. But hey thats what the intertubez are for. The sky is falling the sky is falling.

Just say no to that guy.

I think he's more referencing Rodgers 2000+ yards passing and 16 TD's on the season despite being sacked 37 times this year. So basically he's been sacked more times than Edwards and Fitzpatrick combined...yet he's still managd to throw for more TD's and Yards than both of them combined. So yea Rodgers could do some things here. Anybody who's saying he cant is an idiot. -

I dunno I somehow feel like Rivers,Roethlisburger,Brees,Rodgers, guys like that would still find a way to have success behind our O line. You know guys who are actually ahhh talented. I heard being talented really helps at this whole football thing. -

Quick trivia question to everyone who wants a big name coach. How many coaches have coached 2 different teams Super Bowl wins?

I'd take Kubiak right now over Jauron,Cable,Mangini,Mora Jr,Haley,McCarthey,Morris,Del Rio,Sporano,Fox,Schwartz,Zorn,Fischer, even Singletary.

mob16151 replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bring Vick to buffalo. He can't be worse than any QB on the roster. And if Dungy a guy who's a devout christian,(and more importantly a guy who's actually met and talked to Vick) say's he's learned his lesson and is remorseful well thats good enough for me. -
The UFL can't catch a break in NY
mob16151 replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
5 dollars says that if Jauron isnt fired we have at least 2 UFL guys in camp next season. And neither 1 will be named Brooks Bollinger. -
This was a tough question. I voted to keep LeVitre and Wood first of all. They're young and thier solid building blocks for an O line. I voted to keep Lee Evans as I believe at the very worst he's a solid complimentary player. Marshawn Lynch was the next player I kept. Lynch got the nod for me over Jackson because of age and the fact he's a more physical runner. Jairus Byrd was next and IMO was the easiest guy for me to choose due to his age, production and potential. I then voted to keep Aaron Maybin. If I was the GM I personally wouldn't give up on a rookie 1st draft pick. It just wouldn't make sense financially or from a talent aspect.(At least talent wise in regards to looking towards the future.) And the final pick for me came down to either McGee or Stroud. I went with Stroud simply because it's easier to find cornerbacks then Defensive Lineman.

So just random curiousity but do you think a defense that was like 4 down lineman,4 linebackers and 3 db's would be effective against the wildcat? It just seems suprising that no team has figured out a specific package to trot out when they see certain personell groupings from miami.

Thats one of the most awesome examples of deductive reasoning I have ever seen. lol But seriously it was pretty funny.

Proof Bills fans have hit their limit

I watched the game on TV. But as soon the Texans scored the go ahead TD and got the 2 point conversion I shut it off. I mean I knew the game was over right there. -
What do the Bills have to build around for the future
mob16151 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's a good question. I personally would build the like this. On the O line its obviously Wood and Levitre as our foundation. You could possibly add Butler there depending on how he comes back from being injured(again). I still don't know what to think of Bell or Meredith but I dont feel like they're the answer long term at the Tackle positions. Hangs a serviceable Center. So while it wouldn't hurt to upgrade from him it's not a immediate need. At the QB position I hate all of them. So that should be easy enough. However TE and Fitz more than likely aren't going anywhere(due to their cheap cheap contracts) so get rid of the Hamster and draft a young QB'and then hope Jaurons not here anymore to screw this one up. Personally I want either Tim Tebow,Max Hall,Dan LeFevour,or Daryll Clark. Thats if they go the draft route. If they want to sign a FA QB they need to go after Kyle Orton,or not even bother with FA and just draft one. At RB I'd trade Fred Jackson this offseason. We need draft picks and Freddie will be 30. Plus IMO he's never gonna be a featured back so trade him while his value is high. I want to keep Lynch and Omon. And I would love to see us draft Noel Devine from WVU. At WR we have issues. Parrish is as good as gone. Josh Reed is a FA,TO is a FA and James Hardy hasn't even played this year. I think we'll resign Reed. I suspect TO walks though. Johnson and Hardy we'll obviously be back. I'd love to sign Kevin Walter in FA to play on the outside across from Evans. Along the Defensive line well were a mess. Obviously Maybin stays. I'd also say Schoebel,Stroud and Williams are safe. Kelsay and Denney need to go though. I'd also lose Johnson. I'd love to sign a guy like Ryan Pickett in FA. As for Ellis I have no Idea as to whether or not he can contribute down the road. But if we get rid of him I'd love to take Corey Wootton from Northwestern in the 2nd round. At LB were also a mess. I'd say Poz,Draft,Mitchell,Ellison and Harris are safe. Every other LB we have though can walk. I'd also love for us to make a big push for Thomas Davis in FA. At CB everyone can come back except Youboty. I'd let him walk in FA and let Lankster take his spot on gameday. At S I'd bring everyone back except Scott. I'd let him walk in FA as well. But we need to keep Byrd'Whitner,Wilson and Wendling. And just take a late rd safety and try to plug him in. IMO were fine at Kicker and Punter. So to recap in FA I'd make a big push for Kevin Walter,Ryan Pickett and Thomas Jones. In the draft take the best Tackle available in the first rd. In the second rd take Corey Wootton DE from Northwestern. In the 3rd rd Noel Devine RB WVU. $th rd take the best QB on the board.(Hopefully either Hall,LeFevour,or Clark is still available.) Then draft for depth from there on out. So anyways thats my attempt to rebuild the Bills let me know what you think. -
Quotes of ppl saying that Fitzpatrick is going to the pro bowl??? If you can't provide quotes it never happened. And if it never happened.......well this thread is just an exercise in name calling then.
-
Ummm wow we're really desperate arent we? This has nothing to do with the Bills.
-
Colt McCoy Tim Tebow Sam Bradford Jimmy Claussen Daryll Clark Dan Lefevour Jake Locker Ryan Mallet Max Hall Zac Robinson Tony Pike Terell Pryor Jarret Brown Ryan Periloux Pat Devlin If all those guys come out..........this may be the deepest QB draft since 1983.
-
Really IMO this is a really deep draft at the QB position. Theres guy's that have a legit shots to have good careers that will go anywhere from rd 1 to rd 5.
