Hahaha yea I got the title of the thread. I was just wondering out of idle curiosity as to how you would adress our other needs n this hypothetical situation. (Even though I'm not totally sold on LeFevour as a QB prospect myself.)

I agree with you that that is a rampant falsehood. However to say that Fitz try's to work the intermediate passing game(ie the passes between 10 and 20 yards) and the middle of the field more seems like a pretty accurate statement.

Unfortunately though we have about 4 equally pressing needs so my question to you personally was how would you adress them if we drafted 2 OT's and a QB with our first 3 picks?

1.QB 2.DT 3.OT 4.LB Honestly 2,3,and,4 all are huge needs which are pretty much interchangeable depending on what prospects are still on the board.

In this situation how do you plan on adressing our needs along the D line,and the LB corp?

The FA LB class is deep potentially deep this year. You have guys like D'Meco Ryans'Karlos Dansby,Thomas Howard and Thomas Jones who could all potentially be FA's this year. So IMO it's not really something we need to worry about to much in the draft which is why I didnt really adress it in my scenario.

It depends on who's available. If Claussen is on the board when we pick rd 1 it seems like a no brainer. In the 2nd round in this scenario I'm looking at Corey Wootton the DE from Northwestern. Then if need be trading back up into the 2nd to grab Jason Fox the OT from miami. Or conversely go best DT available rd 1 whether its Suh,McCoy,or Cody. Rd 2 grabbing a guy like Fox once again,and then Rd 3 Max Hall QB BYU.

I was thinking he looks a lot like Drew Brees did at Purdue......either way I'd love for the Bills to grab him in the 2nd or 3rd round. Love the guy as a QB.

I agree the numbers suck but Fitz is 5-0 in his last 5 starts. That TD pass to Evans was beautiful as well. I agree that Fitz plays ugly football,but when he's in the team finds a way to win. When Edwards is in they find a way to lose. Also did anyone else notice that TO and lee Evans actually sat next to Fitz......it was weird. lol

I dunno just read the whole thread..........and wondered when this became the Eagles forum. But on a serious note this is a team that isn't going to make the playoffs. They weren.t gonna make the playoffs with Peters here either. So yea it sucks from a overall talent stand point that he left. But on the brightside at least we got decent recompensation for him. And we get to see if we have anything in Bell. And now I'm never commenting in this particular thread again.

Personally I'm interested in seeing Guy gone. He's the one in charge of scouting/signing the NFL FA's.(If I recall correctly) And so far I haven't been impressed by his track record. On the other hand I am interested in seeing how much of a say Buddy Nix is going to have this offseason.

Tim, I agree with you that Hall doesnt have prototypical size for an NFL QB.Also he's not a scrambler but he's got good pocket awareness and the mobility to pick up a few yards if he needs to scramble.(And by a few yards I mean literally 2 or 3 lol.) I was wondering what you thought of his armstrength. Sorry I didn't clarify in the original post.

Tim, I lnow its early to talk draft but do you know if the Bills were one of the teams that sent scouts to that FSU-BYU game? And how do you think Max Hall would fare playing in Buffalo. And once again appreciate ya responding to our questions.

In what way is McCoy better than Hall? Hall has the bigger arm. He has better accuracy he's just as mobile. The only thing I wish Hall did more of was take more snaps from under center.

First post on here but the answer to all our problems at the QB position is either Max Hall QB BYU or Dan LeFevour QB Central Michigan. I mean we seriously knock Fitz and Edwards for thier armstrength,but McCoy doesn't have a cannon either.
