  1. He he, love it.
  2. Three weeks ago commentators were saying Tebow was a third rounder as a QB at best. Now all of a sudden the idea of Tebow going in the first round has gained a lot of momentum. Why? Because Marc Trestman said that in a specifically tailored offence Tebow could be a successful NFL QB? Do Chan and Buddy realize that there is more to football than the SEC? Is Chan getting ready to inflict a college style offence on us?
  3. Thats the point. He has always shown significant year over year improvement. Not a one year wonder, as Buddy would say. He will continue to improve at the next level IMO. He has attitude and an outstanding skillset. He has had the benefit of outstanding grooming (former Patriot Charlie Weiss) in a pro-style offence. He may be better than Bradford, or may have more success in any event if he falls to the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (in which case I guarantee that we will all be kicking ourselves for another ten or twelve years). The word (Nevergiveup) is that the Bills don't like him at #9. There is some plausibility to this because Chan favours a mobile QB who can be a threat to run if he needs to. This is not Claussen (more like Campbell, an SEC product). My only hope is that this is a smokescreen and that behind closed doors Nix and Gailey are geting ready to pounce if he is there at #9. M worst case scenario: We draft Tebow at 9 (another SEC player) and the Pats draft Claussen.
  4. They will not take a QB because they need OTs (Okung).
  5. So was the Trojan Horse. Just sayin.
  6. ...and if the Redskins pass on Claussen...
  7. The iconic standing buffalo is one of the coolest logos in all of sport. Can't imagine why it was ever shelved.
  8. Like it or not, if the Redskins pass on him, he will very likely be a Bill.
  9. Just my opinion but I see him going no later than the third. He will be everything the Bills always hoped Roscoe could be.
  10. Clausen will start and excel for the next ten years wherever he lands. I hope it is BFLO.
  11. I didn't say "high character" (that was Dick's schtick). Never heard he was a problem in the clubhouse or on the field (except for being a penalty machine two years ago).
  12. Parcells knows exactly what he is doing. Finns run game will be NASTY. Difference is between Nix, who avoids "problem" players and Parcells, who has always taken them on confident in the knowledge that he is himself a meaner sicker nastier individual than they are.
  13. Unfortunately not a good risk/reward profile. Besides Nix and Gailey seem to steer clear of talented but troubled players viz Incognito. They seem to prioritize discipline on the field and chemistry in the clubhouse. Still, wishing S. Andrews all the best, first and foremost in life and in football too, assuming he ever plays again, which seems doubtful.
  14. Mr. Stupid speaks out.
  15. If Ritchie ever grows up he is a potential probowler talent wise. Certainly a bona fide starter in this league and a devastating run blocker. Our interior O-line could have been on its way from worst to first. Maybe they thought they had a lock on Wade Smith. Or very probably Nix and Gailey did not want to chance the behavioral problems and related distractions. They are trying to bring a young team along. That means getting everyone to buy into the program and above all instilling discipline, which Ritchie clearly has lacked. Too bad.
  16. Trent or no Trent, imissandrereed too.
  17. This is a picture of TO.
  18. I guess anything is possible.
  19. Like it or not, unless we draft one of the two top QBs next month, Trent Edwards will probably be under center come September.
  20. The break was a clean fracture, so should be fine. The 4.38 40 is sort of a rumour. Apparently his agent has tape of it that he will be sending to all the teams. There is reason to be sceptical of that time, but if its for real he may be the first or no less than the second WR taken, broken foot and all. The poster is right about his route running. Needs work. If he develops into a good route runner think Andre Johnson. If not, Brandon Marshall. He is an unbelievable raw talent. What for the time being he gives up in route running he starts to make up for in blocking, at which he is extremely proficient.
  21. Thank-you. I probably am wrong. Most people have Bradford ahead of Clausen. I think they both have franchise QB potential. I prefer JC. I think he will be kicking butt somewhere for the next decade. Doubt we get him but I believe Buddy and Chan want him.
  22. When he goes camping, the bears hide their food!
  23. A common misconception is that drafting a QB before your O line is set is, well, stupid. Fact is you need both to win and therefore in building your draft board you have to consider your reasonably expected opportunities over consecutive drafts. If the franchise QB falls to you in year 1 of the new programme, and in advance of your #1 O-lineman, you take him. Maybe the tackle is available in next year's class, (and maybe the QB will not). Taking your future QB now doesn't mean you have to play him immediately behind a line that is not set. Sometime franchise QBs sit for a year or two. Now for those who just don't like Bradford or Claussen, that is a different point-and everyone is entitled to their opinion on that I guess. My guesstimate - both will be off the board before # 7 (in the first). I agree with Walterfootball - Claussen # 1 overall to the Rams.
