  1. I swear I hate that fat ass more than I should...I REALLY despise him...I'm not saying I want him to die or anything...I do hope he REALLY loads up on NY Pizza, Beer, and plenty of junk food over the Off Season though...I wanna see how much that heart can take...

Everyone better take cover in NYC, or NJ, or wherever fat boy roams, because if that fat slob gets any bigger he's gonna blow...And that's gonna be a hell of a mess...

    1. Dirt is an awesome album.

    2. Rex Ryan is a great coach/motivator. I am jealous the the Jets have him, and we don't. As far as everyone saying they only got in because the Colts laid down ... as true as that might be, they still had to beat them - 2nd string or not.

Nobody would have been complaining on the board if Buffalo beat the 2nd string Steelers to get in.

  2. If Trent Edwards was the starting QB for the Colts, Saints, Vikes, or Jets do you think the teams would be where they are now?

Some people think he did not get a fair shake due to the lack of talent he has to work with so if you threw him into good teams would he also turn out to be good?

I feel the only team that would be here with him would be the Jets since Sanchise really did not have a good year at all the team as carried by the rush and D. Just killing time waiting for the games on Sunday.

With Trent, there is not one team in the NFL that would have a better record than they actually had without him. Sanchez is 10x the QB Trent is.

  3. Percy Harvin = Bill Schroeder 2.0.

The guy is just an extension of Brett Favre's arm.

I respectfully beg to differ with you. It's not like I'm some Harvin fan; but credit must be given where it's due ... unless Favre is also the lead blocker on kick returns and end arounds.

Harvin set a Vikings record with 2,081 combined yards, second in the NFC. Harvin recorded two kickoff returns for a touchdown, including a 101-yarder, and ranked fourth in the NFL with a 27.5-yard kickoff return average (42 returns for 1,156 yards). In 15 games, Harvin had 60 receptions for 790 yards and six touchdowns and 135 rushing yards on 15 attempts.

  4. Why "Coward?" I don't understand the hostility toward a man who made a smart decision. Is the insinuation that he was afraid to coach the Bills? Be real. He was too smart to say yes, and anyone looking at this situation for what it is realizes that. Let's move forward with the coach we hired and hope for the best. Don't dwell on the 752 candidates that said "no thanks." The Bills will be just fine. This is the first of (hopefully) many steps in the right direction. Go Bills!

  5. I guess I am one of the few that will defend Blount. The fact is some classless punk from Boise taunted and talked **** to Blount after Boise won. I ask all who rush to judgement- what was said to Blount? No one on this board knows. But many are quick to put all blame on Blount. No doubt it was a hell of a punch. No doubt the high road is the right road. But no doubt, that punk ass **** talker on Boise St brought it upon himself. He keeps his mouth shut nothing happens

I agree 100%. He was pushed (verbally) and he reacted poorly. He made one mistake. Then he took his medicine. He handled the suspension with class ... continued going to school, and proved he belonged on the field. I'd like to see them take a late-round shot at him.

  6. Last season when season ticket sales were low, they brought in T.O. and it pretty much took care of that issue, and 2009 became one of the better ticket sales years ever. With the fanbase in such a disappointing position when it comes to the Bills now, it seems almost a must for Ralph and the boys in the FO to make some type of move to help sell tickets, as the recent coach hiring won't do it. I am not saying that it is what I want, but if I had to guess one big name that they will bring in this year to sell tickets, I would guess Michael Vick. Gailey has a history of working with athletic type quarterbacks, vice immobile pocket passers. Other possibilites might be Calvin Johnson (whom I believe Gailey recruited at Georgia Tech), Brandon Marshall, or maybe LT? What are some other guesses of who they might bring in to make a splash this off season?

I honestly think that Nix knows that Buffalo fans are knowledgable enough to know when smoke's being blown. I don't think bringing in a big name FA/trade is necessary. I think if they can address the O-line and QB positions, and have a solid plan in place for the defense, people will buy tickets. The team has good receivers, running backs, defensive backs, kick returners and kickers/punters. The obvious areas of weakness are O-line and QB, and once those are addressed, most Bills fans will have enough hope to buy tickets. I live a 6-hour drive away, unfortunately. If I lived even 3-hours closer, I'd buy season tickets in a heartbeat .. even with the team as-is.

My wish is that they somehow get McNabb in a Bills uniform. Ticket sales would soar, and so would "W"s.

  7. everyone overlooks this glaring need. Evans hasnt been relevant in years, even when he gets single coverage.....and yesi understand our QB play blows but other WRs around the league do more with crappy QBs.

Evans and TO combined for 99 receptions.

Fred Jackson and Can't Get and Inch Lynch combined for 74 receptions.

Obviously, wide receivers, as a whole, weren't relevant last year.

Evans had 44 receptions, or 17% of total receptions. In that offense, it's hard to call nearly 1/5 receptions irrelevant.

I'm not saying Evans couldn't have been/can't be better. But he's been about as relevant as possible. And to call our QBs crappy ... understatement of the year.

  8. Exactly! The internet nonsense out there that gets reported on by "real" news agencies now is simply appalling. But because it's only sports - no one really cares. Kudos to one news agency for getting it right.

Adam Schefter just reported that according to his sources, Bill Cowher will NOT coach in Buffalo next year.

  9. You know, I agree, we haven't even won a game since he has been Head Coach. This guy is awful, I know cause I heard Teddy Bruschi, Tony Kornheiser, and all the guys on ESPN say it.

I know he made the playoffs in almost every place he has been, but obviously he had nothing to do with it.

I know that Bill Cowher wanted him to be HC of Pitt after he left, but come on, what does Bill Cowher know.

I think we all need to just calm down here. We have a coach, who has a history of winning everywhere he has been. Sure we need to fill some holes, but lets see what he can do before we start calling for his head.

If you would've left that last little paragraph off, and just let your sarcasm stand alone, this would have drawn some epic responses from more than a few people! Funny post.

  10. Sorry Guys - Long time fan here, 20+ year season ticket holder, and I just can't do it anymore. I quit. At least until training camp, I will barely pay attention to this franchise. Except for the draft, will definitely follow the draft you know just to see if they are really turning things around but until then...well maybe just a glance every now and then to see what kind of staff Chan is assembling...other than that it's over I tell ya...OVER! (what's that number for text alerts?)

Translation = If the Bills end up being a good team, I'll be back.

  11. I quit on the Bills once. Then they came back a won a game know as the greates comeback in the NFL or simply "The Comeback." I'll never make that mistake twice.

Same here. It was actually my dad that told me not to turn the channel, or give up. Similarly, my dad and I went to a Bills game against the 49ers, back in Rob Johnson's day. Everyone was there "to see Rice," or "for the atmosphere," because the Bills didn't stand a chance. Well they kicked the crap out of SF from beginning to end. I'll never give up, and I'll never assume failure, again.
