Hamtenp, I think we're going to need to release you from the Practice Squad. Please turn in your playbook and clean out your locker. We think you have a bright future on a different message board, but it's just not going to work out for you here.
This is hilarious. They said the same thing to Billy Jo Hobert, to which he replied, "playbook?"

Byrd can't tackle, can't cover and doesn't hit anybody. Last year he had a bunch on interceptions on poorly thrown balls-that was a fluke. He was another wasted draft pick. He is our 4th best safety behind wilson, whitner, scott
Funny ... I was thinking Lee Evans is the most overrated player on the Bills. If someone has 2 or 3 INTs, they could be flukes. You don't get 9 INTs as a fluke.

ITS THE FIRST YEAR OF A COMPLETE REBUILD!
THREADS MUST STOP!
Holy crap, no kidding. And for anyone to say the Spiller pick was a bad one is just ill-informed.

2 games. TWO.

Would people please stop saying how we are tanking the season . We're 0-2 for chrissakes and we've lost to 2 pretty good teams.
How DARE you, you HOMER!! I'm kidding. You couldn't be more right on. I like to look at it like this ... we're tied for the 3rd best record in football right now!

Poor baby. 22 years old and $1,000,000 in the bank. Yeah I would blow my brains out out too. I mean, who can live like this?
Judging from the time you wrote this post, I'm hoping it was some sort of drunken mistake. Especially if you read all the other posts from people who have/are going through the same thing. Have a little sensitivity. This isn't a missed field goal. It's a life that's come to an abrupt and early end. Shame on you.

I always like J.P., but he never knew when to get rid of the ball. Yes, he's got the balls to throw downfield; but he'd take way too many sacks and give up costly fumbles and interceptions. He's just another guy who doesn't have "it."

The AFC East is not a great division. The Vikes pretty much did everything to lose that game to the Fins. If I was a Jets fan, I still won't trust Sanchez. And the fact that Sanchez looked like a legit pro QB yesterday says a lot about NE's defense.
I'm not making an illusions were going to win the division but it is very flawed.
I agree. AFC East has turned into one of the weakest divisions in football. NE is the best team, and their defense is very suspect; not a powerhouse by any means. Miami barely beat Buffalo and the Jets are the most overrated team in the league. Not that Buffalo is in legitimate contention ... but the division is basically up for grabs.

If they're going to bench Edwards, they might as well cut him. No sense in seeing him pout on the sidelines every Sunday. He's already shown that he doesn't handle it well. I'd say cut him and go find the best UFL starter out there.

"I don't know how to get rid of you!!!!!"

Three and out again
Long snapper's arms are tired
Where's the thrill in Spill?

The order in which he rattled off our QBs' names did get my attention. It's probably nothing at all.

Sanchez is like Sanjaya on American idol. He blows but he acts like he's god's gift to football. After a while people start believing it too.
PTR
This is an awesome analogy. Cheers.

not to steal anyone's thunder and that's a great read but....
my (now 4 y/o) daughter was on a heart transplant list, had a very large stroke on ECMO at six months of age) and fought against every odd (pneumonia, sepsis, bowel obstruction, DIC, blood clots, stroke) to survive and ultimately keep her own heart (as weak as it was at the time). Three surgeries later her heart is doing OK. We have ongoing therapies for her stroke and the occasional seizure but she is a beautiful and generally healthy kid. I thank God every day for her and who she is.
Some of you may remember when I 'spilled' a lot of this here a few years ago (2007) but the thread was lost.
reading this story today literally brought tears to my eyes. Obviously, it hits home for me and the parallels are striking. God bless that kid and her family. Bottom line is how peaceful life is when we simply care for folks around us...and when we appreciate what we have.
Amen, brother.

Great reminder that they're just playing a game on the field. The vast majority of them are probably good guys who have loved ones and families. This is why people get upset at others wishing harm on any player from any team. It's just a game.
Thanks a lot for sharing this link, Figoferreira.
I can't wait to go home and give my son a hug and a kiss now.

Well the Bills are going to lose and he will look like crap compared to Rodgers, but he will make one or two decent plays and that will be enough to let all his supporters cling to hope for another week.
Heaven forbid anyone SUPPORTS their FAVORITE TEAM'S STARTING QB. That should be against the law.

A.) Lynch is locked up until 2012, so he's not leaving anytime soon.
B.) T.O. signed a one year contract. Franchising him would have been a huge mistake imo. He is 37 years old I believe and was not heavily sought after.
Wake up and quit playing fantasy football. This team will win and soon, but did anyone realistically believe we were going to make the playoffs?
Prior to the end of last season, they could have traded T.O. for a bottle of gatorade and gotten MORE than what they ended up getting by letting him play his contract out.

Wes Welker is not better than Lee Evans. He was a glorifed punt returner in Miami. If you actually watch any Patriot games, he receives mostly swing passes and follows his blocks.
QB's make receivers good.
Ive asked this 1,000 times. Name me a receiver that had a great stats year with a bad QB?
I think Randy Moss could have good numbers with any QB. I think Wes Welker is an awesome receiver, too.
That said ... I think Lee Evans has been a #1 receiver with a #28 QB with a #32 coaching staff.
Maybe things will improve this year. Let's get more than 1/16 into the season to have this tired discussion.

I would hardly call a guy who doesn't start a great LBbut he may be an upgrade over what we got.
He's always been a starter. This is something personal between him and McCarthy. Nothing to do with his talent.
-
I was listening to Sirius Radio just now and Papa Packer came on the show late hits and said that there's plenty of "rumors" in Wisconsin saying that Green Bay would offer AJ Hawk for Lynch straight up. I dunno.
Not sure about straight up, but getting Hawk would be a huge plus.
I don't really care if Lynch stays or goes.
They can always get that Bell kid back (who was a machine in preseason) and have 3 competent RBs on the roster again.
Plus they'd have a great LB. Nothing wrong with improving defense.
They can't let Lynch leave as a free agent and get nothing. They made that mistake with T.O.

I want the Bills to end up with a better record than the Jets, come hell or high water. Therefore, I vote for a Pats* win.
-
Haven't the Bills been playing without a QB since Bledsoe Kelly left?
Fixed.
-
Tom Landry and Joe Gibbs were not screamers either and they seemed to get the job done. Jerry Glanville had tons of rah rah going for him and it didin't seem to do much for him.
Sure I hate opening the season at home with a division loss, but it's hard to assess the coach on one game that was lost by less than a touchdown.
Perfectly stated.

If I'm banned for trying to protect the integrity of this board then its time for me to go.
Ways to get around having two profiles without being detected and there's nothing management can do about it.
Unlike you, I don't and have never gone crying to management privately, I address the problem on the board, in the open for everyone to see.
Dog, you know darn well you're not getting banned. But you also know darn well that this clown isn't going away. He's getting exactly what he wants. Nothing you, or any mods, can do about it. This rash is going to be on the skin of this site for a while.
This week is gonna be ugly
