I turned around and started jumping once i saw it was a perfect ball and went to high five my buddies, and one said he dropped the ball. I sat down and proceeded to state how we were now going to lose the game. just another bills game giveaway added to the list.
This is exactly what our O-Line did!

All I know is if Brian Cashman misses another field goal under 40 yards, I hope they get rid of him and get someone like Morten Anderville.

Those are eye popping numbers. 5 sacks and 13 TFL? Can anyone say dominant?
Dominant is right. Thanks for posting.

Does calling a guy a "#1" or "#2" receiver really mean a damn thing beyond people's obsessive need to rank everything? How many plays are run with one receiver on the field? It's a passing league, your top two receivers are going to be starters and play the vast majority of offensive snaps. If Evans isn't good enough to be a starter, then I'll be concerned about his salary. But arguing about whether he or Johnson is "#1" strikes me as pointless.
You make a very good point.

lee evans should not be starting until he shows that he wants to put forth the effort that the young guys are giving.
I think Evans is, and always has been, overrated. But he is a very solid #2 receiver. He should be on the field every offensive play. But he's simply not the #1 guy, and when he was, he failed at it. Not miserably, but he failed.
I do think there's a lack of effort at times. He's unwilling to sacrifice his body for a catch. And his route running is lazy.
He doesn't come back for balls like the true #1 receivers do.
He is immensely talented and he's a huge reason for Stevie Johnson's success. But every #1 WR needs a good #2 WR ... and that's who he is to SJ.

I seen the highlights yesterday when your receiver dropped that game winner. I didn't come here to break your chops or nothing, I just want to say to not sweat it because it happens. I remember one time I was about to mash some guys jaw for not paying and the crowbar slipped right out of my hand for no reason. All I had to do was hold it but it fell right out. The guy tried to squirm away so I didn't have time to pick up the crowbar and I hurt my hand a little but not as much as I hurt his jaw and teeth. The next time I was in that situation I held on to the crowbar just fine.
My point is that Johnson will be just fine. It's not like you guys were going anywhere this year anyway what with your record plus you have to play the Jets again which is a certain defeat. Maybe next year you can get a wild card behind us. Keep your chin up unless I am in fornt of you with a crowbar.
P.S. J-E-T-S Jets JEts JETS.
Thanks. Now go get your shinebox.

The replay was pretty obvious to me. He was aiming for Fitz's head. He deserved an ejection on top of a penalty.
PTR
Agreed 100%. Not only did he deserve an ejection and the forthcoming fine, but he needs to be suspended for a few games. He obviously can't conform to the new rules.

Stevie Johnson had one bad game. Lee Evans has had about 40. Give the kid a break.

Ah, screw it. I'm tired of veiled accusations thrown at me, as a white boy, of racism.
So you know what? I finally admit it. I'm keeping the black QB down. I am personally responsible for benching not only Jason Campbell, but Donovan McNabb in the final 2 minutes of the Lions game - I personally called Shanny and told him "Coloreds can't run a two minute drill, since they've got their mind focused on the fried chicken and watermelon waiting for them after the game. So sit his lazy black ass." Hell, I'm the one who sent Warren Moon to the CFL. I am the very reason blacks can't catch a break at the QB position. I am The Man keeping them down.
Now that I've confessed, can we stop writing the stupid "Is there racism in the NFL" articles?
You're the rotten bastard that told Vince Young it would be a great idea to throw his pads into the stands!!! I hate you, Archie Bunker!
-
This is ridculous. Racism is alive and well in the U.S., no doubt. But to say it has anything to do with NFL quarterbacks is insane.

From what I could see, he didn't slap his helmet. He got him underneath a little. I'm sure it hurt a lot. I say no flop.

What does it mean to vanilla for someone? I've never had anyone vanilla for me. Sounds tasty, though.
-
I've been saying it, and getting lambasted for it, all year. Evans = Peerless Price. He's an awesome #2 WR. Stevie Johnson is clearly our #1.

Having the ninth highest tackles so far this season isn't good enough for you ?
Are you going to rationalize away that stat to support your contention that he is not good ? Poz is not a problem on our defense.
I wonder how many defenses have been on the field longer than ours. I'd be willing to bet that Poz has more tackle opportunities than most.
-
No ... this isn't an idea that we should get him. It's just a good story and worth a read.
-
Oh, shut up.

Not to paint with too broad of a brush . . .
This seems to be stretching it a bit. "Boy" has some hateful history so I see where you're going, but "our boy" is a term of endearment and family. It's a phrase of community not divisiveness.
I think the "PC Police" Police are going to to have thoughts for this.
Thanks for helping to make my point.
I wasn't really offended by the term "boy," in this context.
Just like I didn't find what Spiller did to be offensive. Was it stupid for him to do? - YES. But it's not like he went on Twitter and posted something like, "I hate fags," or, "Elton John is just a fag."
He was kidding around with his buddy. He's what ... 22-years-old? Come on, people ... lighten up and consider the context.
-
It seems like they're joking, but CJ just called Ricky Sapp (former Clemson teammate) a fag on Twitter. I expect a little better judgement from our boy.
It's nearly as offensive as you calling a young black man, "our boy."

I wanted to find out from the fans, what is the limit to this approach, so far it appears losing will fix everything
I'm sorry, but no real fan would promote their team's losing.
Losing only fosters a losing environment.
Look at Buffalo and Detroit ... they don't know how to win. Both of us had wins handed to us on silver platters ... only to find a way to lose.
It's because that's what both teams are used to.
Winning games makes winning more games an easier thing to do.

Congrats on your first game!! Enjoy!!

Personally, I'd like to see him become a pro-bowler, MVP and a Super Bowl champion. He did nothing wrong while in Buffalo, as far as effort and dedication go. I hope he can at least sustain a career in the NFL. I think he deserves it.

Just don't pick anyone from Penn State.

Why is he an idiot? What he said is true. All republicans want to do is the opposite of what President Obama wants to do. Supporting that ideology would define idiocy, in my opinion.
