  1. I completely agree. Give this guy a chance. Looks like he has some talent and we don't exactly have the best WR's in the league. The punt return was an indication that maybe this guy can play. But not if you don't suit him up.
  2. When I was a kid growing up in Hornell, we used to get the Browns and Giants games on TV, so I would probably have to revert to one of those teams.
  3. Agree 100%. Although it is not likely that this team will win out, clearly that is what a fan would want. I want them to win every week. Not realistic, but that has to be the goal.
  4. Absolutely nobody wants to see Jacksonville and Buffalo play. No great surprise. Look at the limited area where this game will be televised. It is a perfect fit for the two team's records.
  5. They could still use him in certain situations. Just limit his reps and get Easley out there to see what he can do in an actual game.
  6. I don't even know how to respond to this. If you have no hope, no matter who they bring in, then why bother being a fan of the team? I don't get it.
  7. Not a fair weather fan. Been here since day one in 1960. But if you think there is a chance in hell that this team will win out, then you are delusional. They could not even beat Tennessee at home or a not so good Indy team last week. There is absolutely zero chance that this team will make the playoffs. They haven't even hinted that they are a playoff caliber team this year. Of course fans are tired of watching the same results week in and week out, year in and year out. It doesn't mean that they are any less of a fan, just disheartened and discouraged by all of the losing and poor play. I believe that there is enough talent on this team to make the playoffs, but the coaching and QB play, not to mention the defense at times, has been atrocious. "Playoffs? Playoffs? Don't talk about -- playoffs?! You kidding me?! Playoffs?! I just hope we can win a game! Another game!"
  8. I believe almost anyone would be better than Fitz. Even his body language says "I don't believe I can do this." He never looks like he's having fun like the really good QB's. It's always head down, shoulders slumped. That doesn't exactly breed confidence in those around you. And that's just a manifestation of how he plays. He doesn't believe he can do it because he can't. I am willing to roll the dice on a decent rookie QB. I am tired of watching this guy and his inability to execute.
  9. It is very disheartening to be a Bills fan. The sad thing is that I almost never expect them to win anymore. I always expect them to lose and when they do it is never a surprise. Yesterday was no exception. Very hard to root for a team that you hope will win every week, but you know in your heart that there is very little chance of that happening. I truly don't know what the answer is, but it has got to start with a new HC.
  10. I like Tyler Wilson better than Barkley.
  11. You're kidding right? I would take almost any QB on any roster over Fitz. He cannot throw an accurate ball and his decision making is terrible. We are losing with him and we can damn well lose without him. Time for a change. And no it's not on his shoulders alone, but he has failed to perform in a number of winnable games including yesterday and we should have a winning record right now if we even had an average QB. He is terrible.
  12. Never said any of that. I understand that you don't agree with me and that is okay. I agree with you that Fitz can't throw as well. I also agree that Jones has made some good catches. If you read my posts you will see that I have said that. What you seem to be blind to is the catchable balls that he flat out misses or drops. After watching three of those yesterday, I said to my son exactly what the OP said. I have no idea what we have in Easley, but I'm pretty sure of what we have in Jones. Just would like to see Easley get an opportunity, particularly in the red zone . What have we got to lose? A playoff spot?
  13. I was 44. I have seen long stretches of losing like this before. Let's hope at some point they can put a decent coaching staff together and a winning team back on the field.
  14. I still agree with the OP. I see the evidence week in and week out. You obviously do not. And again, I believe that Easley has been in this system long enough to know which routes to run. "Mental repititions"? Again I call BS. I have zero faith that this coaching staff is making the right decisions as to who needs to be on the field. And good day to you as well.
  15. This. Funny stuff. I never expect the Bills to win, so when they lose, I am not disappointed and when they win I am pleasantly surprised. And then there's the scotch and stripper thing, lol.
  16. I was a Master Fitness Trainer in the Army and I am calling BS on your "game shape" nonsense. It doesn't take a full season to get in "game shape" and even if you aren't 100%, you certainly can get on the field and run a route every now and again. Obviously Jones makes a catch every now and then and sometimes even a good one. The point is that he misses too many balls that he should catch. You must not be watching if you don't see the drops and flat out misses that this guy makes every single week. The OP didn't say that Fitz was a good QB or that Gailey was calling the right plays. He said that Jones can't catch and I completely agree.
  17. How am I supposed to provide evidence when the coaching staff continues to trot Jones out there and Easley gets zero snaps? This coaching staff wouldn't recognize a good football player if it bit them. They have C.J. for God's sake and they won't even give him the ball. And I'm supposed to trust that Jones is better than Easley because Gailey doesn't let him on the field? I have absolutely zero confidence in Gailey and I personally have witnessed Jones dropping plenty of catchable balls. And obviously, I'm not the only one, or the OP would not have started this thread.
  18. Gotta disagree. I agree with the OP. Jones too often misses catchable balls. Very few QB's throw a perfect ball, but there are many catchable balls targeted for Jones that he simply cannot catch. Easley has got to have better hands than this guy.
  19. Agree that it's time to clean house. This team is just unwatchable. No better than the Jauron era. The only difference is the way they lose. Losing is losing, no matter if your play calling is too conservative like Jauron or simply moronic like Gailey. It all amounts to the same thing, loss after loss after loss.
  20. They are delusional. Even after the win against a bad Miami team, this team has about as much chance of making the playoffs as the Chiefs do.
  21. Don't know why anyone is the least bit surprised by this performance. It is like a replay of almost every game we have played this year. Based on their performance against Miami, this is pretty much what I expected.
  22. Fitz was locked on to Stevie on two straight plays and missed them both. How about a run play once in awhile on first down.
  23. Fond memories of Ernie from the early years. May he RIP
  24. How about a red alternate jersey with the white numbers and blue and white trim. I think it would look pretty cool. Just don't wear it with the blue pants, lol.
