Sal Cappacio is the most talented person at the station and it' s not even close. His programs/shows are better and he's infinitely more knowledgeable.
-
They should just play a running loop of the whiner line, it would be more entertaining and possibly more insightful.

I miss the days of Empire Sports. Paul Hamilton should stick to his 2nd tier sport and stfu about football. There are people selling hot dogs at RWS that have exponentially more knowledge than that clown.

So if EJ has a great game I wonder what'll happen to all the haters? -
Report: Harbaugh losing locker room in SF

This isn't college. At least half of an NFL roster are grown men with families. The NFL is their job. Acting like an overbearing blowhard trying to intimidate players doesn't get you respect in this league. -
I think you MIGHT see Kyle Orton today

SDS is spot on here as far as negotiation goes. It's standard procedure for HR to try to pin you down on a number. If you come in below what they already have budgeted for the position they'll happily pay you less. If you come in above you do run the risk of pricing yourself out of the position. In addition to stressing that you want to be sure of the "fit", tell them that you would need to consider the total compensation package and that you'd prefer to save the salary discussions for later. We're in a new age where it isn't always about salary. Having great benefits, extra vacation and a comprehensive health plan is worth consideration. -

By all means, lets take Goodwin, who is always injured and apparently made of glass and put him in the one position where all 11 guys on the opposing team are trying to kill him. CJ is almost as fast as Goodwin and is a LOT bigger. Not sure why having him return kicks is such an awful idea? -
Kyle Orton rumor [update : now signed]

James Walker @JamesWalkerNFL 10m The #Bills have agreed to a one-year contract with veteran QB Kyle Orton, according to a source. Orton will backup EJ Manuel. -
There's been an awful lot of criticism thrown at our starting QB over the last several weeks. Some of it is deserved, some if it is slightly misinformed and some of it shows a complete and utter lack of understanding of what your watching. Mark Kelso did a great breakdown on the John Murphy show. I'd highly recommend that you listen to it if you want to improve your football IQ (and not look stupid when you post)! http://www.buffalobills.com/video/au...2-8538ee8cf53d

Anyone that knows anything at all about offense could see the same plays being repeated over and over for the last four games. If you don't recognize that Fred Jackson has been running the same wheel route for four games then you should probably watch Dancing with the Stars or something less complicated. -
Yesterday's game was ugly, there was no doubt about it. In hindsight though, there's a number of contributing factors that make if far worse than it seemed at the time. Here's my attempt at making sense of yesterday's disaster: 1. EJ is clearly not Aaron Rogers. That said, I don't think he's Jamarcus Russell either. It looks to me as though he's a QB that's far more comfortable with a solid game plan than a pre-season vanilla fest. 2. Why can't out team stand up on our own field? I saw at least a half dozen players for the Bills slip yesterday, most notably Chandler, I aslo so several slips in coverage. who seems to have a knack for screwing up a drive, 3. Our offensive line was dreadful yesterday. I attribute this to lack of playing time together and not lack of talent. All across the line there were missed assignments, whiffed blocks and stupid penalties. 4. Marrone and Hackett were so desperate to be vanilla that they crippled the team offensively. I totally get not wanting to show anything but you have to have more than 8 plays in your offensive package. If you go back and watch the other 3 preseason games you'll literally see the same 8 plays. 5. Having Sammy Watkins in changes EVERYTHING. He's going to force different coverages and different schemes and he's going to catch a LOT of passes this year.

They're running 8 plays in preseason and people are complaining...lol

Ice Bucket - Get off my Lawn

I never said it wasn't a social fad, that's exactly what's made it so successful. It's raised awareness and that's always a good thing. Tens of millions of dollars have been raised as a result of this fad. Personally, I'd rather see more dollars donated and less buckets of ice because frankly, dumping a bucket of ice on your head isn't that big of a deal.. I'd say that it's been a worthy exercise even if it has gone over the top. -

Mike Rodak is an idiot who has no idea what he's looking at.

Mike Ditka's proof that there has been a concussion problem in the NFL for a long time. "Redskins" isn't a liberal construct, it's a racial slur. Anyone defending that idiocy should be asked to go visit a native american tribe and refer to them repeatedly as "redskins". Maybe when LA gets a team they can be called the "Yellow Bastards" or the "Blackies" Idiot........

Hackett's Red Zone playcalling ineffective
Mike in Syracuse replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marrone and Hackett have both said their intention during the preseason was to "show nothing" with regards to play or formations. I'm not sure why this is such a surprise to anyone? -

It's PRE-SEASON fooball folks. Why in God's name would you want to show anything meaningful? This isn't about impressing the fans. Blaming the offenses ability to score on the play calling is beyond stupid. -
I find it endlessly entertaining at how indignant people on the right get when they're insulted yet the same people routinely call the actual President every name under the sun. Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage et al say some of the most hateful **** imaginable but I guess it's ok because they're "patriots". Yeah right..........

Hey, get that rational and realistic crap out of here. How are we suppose to focus on the "doom" if you're here interjecting reality and logic?

I think Gilmore's recovery from off season hip surgery may be coming along a little slower than expected. Let's not forget he missed all of OTA's and only recently started with full team practices.
