    I realize I didn't word it correctly in my OP but the point was the same, yes, the state doesn't normally give out funding for stadiums but it's normally the tax payers that get the short end of the stick. This time they cut 600m to potentially 175m and people are upset about it because that money could have gone elsewhere (aka stuff that benefits NYC).

    And on a 30 year lease. The current lease cost the Bills 800k per year. I would expect that number to be higher on this lease.

    Everyone has value, whether it's a draft pick or a bag of footballs is another question.

    Is that accurate? I thought all penalties during a play were enforced on said play. If the taunting occurs after the whistle is when it would have been enforced on the kickoff. I don't know if taunting is different with how it is enforced so I could be wrong.

    I'm sure people are going to complain about this that are not from WNY but the reality is they were going to pay for the stadium one way or another. Either $600 million in taxpayer money and spend it elsewhere or ~$175 million in taxpayer money and allocate it to the stadium.

    Is that what the owner were saying that the strongest argument was "allen deserved another possession" or just general consensus about the rule change?

    That was my first thought also. Though this does tend to make me think of the whole "Toronto bills" possibility so I can understand. Not sure how significant the difference is in distance.

    Beane has the ability to say nothing when talking a lot. McD had the ability of saying a lot while talking about nothing.

    Easier to remember and search for. "NFL maximum overdrive" tends to make people not want to search and pay for it. People are lazy.
