  1. You could say you have 3 different types of head coaches 1: Ones that can't do anything to a team, no matter where they go, they will never have success. 2: Coaches that can win with great players. You have all the right pieces and they know where to put them. (marv) 3: Coaches that can get undrafted kids, no name talent and make them talent. That they know how to work the system and make a great team. (belicheat) Now you really can't tell what a coach is like (besides 3) until they get fired or they cut a "great"/crappy player and they get picked up. Great example. Maybin. Sucked on our end with 2 coaches, then when to Rex's team and well did a little bit better. A buffed turd. So honestly you could say our coaching staff was a little weaker than the jets coaching staff. Fitzy, well he was better on our team than cinnci. So i could say our coaching was better than theirs. You can easily point out that patriots coaching was a lot better than KC because look at Matt C. My point is, yes we might have no name players or we might have the most rookies starting next year... HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW HOW OUR COACHING STAFF IS GOING TO BE?!?!?! Stats?! Shove your stats up your ass, and let the guy coach a damn game before we are ranked anywhere.
  2. It will some how involve the word buffalo or bills. or something that the animal does. But I say they stick with the city. It's our Team or Home to Buffalo.
  3. And you are the young kid that likes to go around and tell kids that Santa isn't real. You know what, Ya I have optimism. I rather be excited about the unknown than B word and complain about every little thing like half this forum does. I love my bills, loved them since I was born and my mom put me in a bills binky. Loved being a fan after the 4 super bowl loses. I lived in florida and now California, and whenever anyone asks who is your team, I say proudly the Bills. They laugh and I respond with smile. Why be concerned over draft picks and FA? My guess is, no matter who we pick you will B word about them for a good couple of months. Great example. CJ spiller. I remember reading about him being a bust, horrible pick, blah blah blah, but now the guy is a super star. FA, great example, Mario Williams, horrible for the first 3/5 of the season. All I read was people bitching on this site. So my question is why be concerned over who we pick. It is proven no matter who we ever sign or draft people will find a way to complain. Even at HC, and OC. We havent seen one season of these guys and we already think we know them. So be a bitchy bills fan all you want. You actually remind me of my roommate. Can't stand watching bills games with him because all he does is knock the bills and only 2min in the 2nd qt and he thinks the game is over. (he is a "bills" fan too) All I know is come Sunday at kickoff, I will be excited to see what the bills have to offer. And until kick off for you, my guess is you will be still complaining about something the bills did wrong. Go blame ralph or something.
  4. I look at the lack of depth or well.. the lack of positions filled. But I have to admit. I am a little excited to see what our coaching staff comes up with. When was the last time we had such a high tempo offense kind of coach. He is all offense and I love it. I can care less if our QB, G, WR and LB starters are all rookies. I am excited to see what he does.
  5. http://www.nfl.com/n...-cinderella-run Just thought i should post this. This is my favorite line out of the whole thing. "if you want to follow a potential Cinderella story, you have to find the dark horse. Look for a team so low, no one can see it." Edit: by the way, that quote, they aren't really bashing the bills through out. It is a nice read at the end. I just found the quote amazing.
  6. I agree on that. I hate when people think he will be the next brady or something. I will say he had a great rookie in a offense that no one knew how to stop. I will wait till his junior year before I give the guy the credit. I agree with most of your stuff. I think he had great 1st round picks so far. He had crappy picks though on some. But I will be like a regular TBD and just blame wilson.

  8. he gets to annoucne the 2nd draft pick of the bills. Maybe he just wanted a 2nd chance to actually smile.
  9. WOW, great catch!!! Andy capp hot fries. I loved those!! Holy crap, if he for some reason is the starter... that is his mascot. I can see it at all the games! (well if he is good)
  10. Ya, unfortunately. But here is my cinderella story. "andy" corp now realizes he is a nobody. That the HC doesn't even know his name. He now begins to train even harder. Kinda like a under armor commercial and all of the rocky movies. Then we draft a QB at number one. That fules "Andy" even more. Then he goes to training camp. With his new abilities that he learned from punching a dead cow, he blows everyone away. He becomes the starter and takes us to the playoffs. We win the first game. Then the second game... then the third!! (ya we got in by wild card) Then he made it to the super bowl... .53 seconds left, we are down by 4 and we have no time outs. It is up to "andy" to take it home. He sets back, throws a bomb to some no name undrafter wr that for some reason Nix wanted. We are now down at the 20. The crowd errupts. He hands the ball of to cj (why a hand off... i dont know) cj gets down to the 5. The crowd starts to chant his name... andy andy andy... then he throws an INT because he was pissed because still know one knows his real name... Sorry i was bored.
  11. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000152946/article/doug-marrone-botches-buffalo-bills-backup-qbs-name crap... though i enjoy a good laugh.. just not being the ones laughed at lol.
  12. I still have my spikes jersey and so does my nephew. It was his first bills jersey. So I say bring him back so I can wear it again.
  13. Byrd, we have "byrd is the word" we can do the chicken dance, we can dress up as birds to the game, he is a ball "hawk" I go with Byrd only because of the many catch phrases and costumes we can do.
  14. Actually I take that back. He said mid 30's so that means it can't be those two Maugaula Tuitele would be in his 30's but he played for buffalo and oakland too but... well they don't have good coaches
  15. No offense what so ever but you are horrible at patient/doctor confidentiality. With the information you gave you can easily point out who it is. Saying he only played in that one super bowl. Well that knocks the list to: Kole Ayi Bryan Cox Rob Holmberg Marty Moore Maugaula Tuitele And you said he played for a lot of great coaches so that leaves Bryan Cox Rob Holmberg
  16. I don't see the big deal with no QB drafting in the first 15, or even the first round. Heck remember a few years ago when tebow was the only one drafted. And none of the other QBs that were rated high didn't go until late 2nd or third round.
  17. I would pick up Jamarcus Russell, Then do what the raiders did once and draft a 1st round kicker. After that I would suggest her drafter a new defense of line, Trade mario williams for a 3rd round pick and flynn. Then I would move that stadium to oklahoma.

  19. First, I don't think a petition will ever get a guy fired. Also, when RW passes, and team is sold, I believe he will get fired then. Just wait a year or two. Not hoping RW dies, I never wish anyone dies, just looking at it at the big picture. He dies, team gets sold, new everyone.
  20. I am sure this is all sarcasm that he will, unless you have a link. When I lived in Miami and worked at the stadium. I remember the first year they got rid of their old classic song. I never seen so many fans pissed. Then what they ended up doing was playing the new song when they got a touchdown, and the old one after the extra point. Though I think we should never get rid of our shout song, times are changing and I wouldn't doubt one day we will get a new one. I think i remember reading an article that a few teams got new ones by really big artists. I know steelers got their "black and yellow" song now, and I am trying to remember the other new ones.
  21. YES!!!!! why not do one game in the real throwbacks?? bring some money in by selling jerseys. Have a couple of comments on espn or nfl.com and you have yourself some spotlight! I am down for one game in the real retro uniforms
