  1. Chris will be 33 years old and has lived a charmed life with the Bills. Whatever quickness he had is gone this season. I think he represented to VERY UPPER MANAGEMENT what a solid citizen, good Christian and total hustle player represented to the franchise. He did really give his very best. I think he'll retire after this season. As a quality individual he knows it's over.
  2. Fred Jackson fired his previous agent and hired a new one this week. If this has been posted previously I apologize! Fred was quoted as saying he wasn't happy with the extension he signed in 2009 and the way it was handled with the Bills. Let's be fair here. He's being treated by the Bills as a guy who is turning 30, has no big-time history in the NFL and is holding down the spot until CJ is ready to take over. He's way too good to lose or make unhappy. Remember original free-agent Bills Pat Williams and Jason Peters?
  3. I really believe these final 5 games are his last shot in Buffalo. Chan's scripted his opportunity with all the IR moves. He'll play against good NFL teams that have more talent than the Bills. IF he can't hold his own due to size and strength after 2 years in the League then something will happen with the Aaron experiment in Buffalo!
  4. I sense Gailey is bringing in NEW TE's to see if they can help next season and is comfortable letting the kids play LB for the next 5 games as an audition for 2011. Why not? With 9 loses what have we got to lose? It's actually pretty smart!
  5. Just remember McKelvin's 13 on the Wonderlic test makes him VERY hard to coach.
  6. great stats. If you just watch the game you can see something is much, much different on offense. I think those 2 are just pulling people's chains to get ratings. With the Sabres looking like bums what can they do?
  7. I asked a question - did you see the video of his "re-injury" at his first practice here???????? Obviously the Bills have done all the X-rays, MRI's etc. since that time and nothing has come up. He's just going through re-hab at OBD as in the whirl-pool. Sad man - Sad.
  8. yes - he was all over the field. You can't overlook hustle.
  9. Everything on this team is still a mystery except that we know they can score points! The defense is bad regardless of the wins. The ownership is scary for all of us. The crazy relationship of Modrak, his scouts, Buddy, his scouts, Chan and Ralph preparing for a draft is beyond rationality. When you have McCargo, Maybin & Merriman all sitting in the stands, not close to ever playing, getting paid as #1 picks and on the active roster it makes for a great, great novel.
  10. This was the re-injury at his first practice. Come-on man. Did you see it on the local news? If you did you'd be embarassed to cover for this guy! It looked fake, felt fake and if you listen closely to Chan you can tell what he thinks about the whole deal!
  11. Hey, Jimbo couldn't keep his NFL broadcasting job because he couldn't think of anything to say - nothing. Ray Bently & Steve are it! Good for them in a very tough, competitive business!
  12. If you saw the local TV coverage of his 'injury' in what would be a very light pre-jog work out for anyone else it does make you question what is going on? How could he pass physicals, travel to Buffalo, walk up and down stairs and then get injured so badly with that slight sideways movement. Something smells like the fish at the Broadway Market!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. when you throw in the 2 Nelsons, Donald Jones, Spiller, Parish & Easley on IR you've got 8 pretty good receivers right now.
  14. exactly. And that's why he has high tackle numbers. he covers up for other LB's missed assignments. And, when he misses his own assignments (frequently) he starts chasing again!
  15. If Maybin was in the game it was for very few plays. He just isn't big or strong enough for the NFL. I can't imagine why Gailey wanted to put Brohm in at the end of the game as he stated in his press conference. That made no sense at all. Fitz played his butt off with zero help from the line or his receivers (except for Nelson) and putting in Brohm would have been insulting to both players. Fitz did NOT cost us the game. Why didn't he say he was going to pull Kyle Williams, Poz or Kelsay and let kids play the final quarter on defense? It would have made more sense after the sad defensive performance we say today.
  16. are you saying they didn't look at game film and didn't see Trent in full speed action? They knew what was going on. These are veterans - Nix and Gailey. Where else would they have jobs like this at their ages!
  17. When a #1 can't start or even contribute SOMETHING in his 2nd season you know a mistake has been made.
  18. When I saw we were 13 point underdogs after only 1 game played I got the big picture.
  19. I have to agree 100% Why oh Why they put him on the field is mystery???
  20. Calls like that with the analysts calling a TD catch a "process" as if they are brillant will make the pro game more boring than it is already becoming. When things get too, too technical the average fan loses interest. The NFL game is getting way too boring. A strike is all they need. Make the field 12 feet wider and stop the goofy rules!
  21. Sadly it is a poor record so far. Green was an embarassment Sunday to the Bills uniform. How could any scout not know he couldn't be left alone on the corner???? A nine year veteran needing help.
  22. Agree 100% He and Denney made a nice living in a Buffalo uniform and never, ever were NFL quality starters.
  23. With NO FOOTBALL on the horizon for 2011 why spend money ? The owners signed a dumb agreement last time and they won't let that happen again. You can only suck so much out of TV and most of the people watching the NFL TV shows with talking heads saying nothing don't go to the games regularly.
  24. McKelvin had a 13 score. I still don't know if he is coachable.
