  1. Patriots BEFORE the bye week!?!?!? that can only equal VICTORY!
  2. he's better than anything we currently have on the squad. plus it is an uncapped year. who knows maybe if we let him fill the void this year then we don't draft LT in the first few rounds maybe Demitrius Bell will develop more and beccome the lineman we have been hearing all the hype about, while Adams starts.
  3. I'd take him in the third. He had some solid games this year. 22-123 vs. Arkansas. 22-186 vs. Auburn. 24-148 vs. LSU... oh and that's not to mention the 25-282 vs. Tennessee. For those that will argue McCluster...I understand he had a few bad games this year too. But thats why he has Jackson and Lynch running before him if we take him
  4. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...raft-a-scatback mentions nothing of QB. Says O-Line, D-Line, WR, RB. Do you guys think Ole Miss RB Dexter McCluster would be a nice pick up in the later rounds? He would have to add weight so he doesn't get killed. ESPN lists him at 5'8" 165.
  5. didn't feel like reading thru all the comments so this has probably been said... but doesn't a good player make people pay for mistakes such as poor throws?
  6. what I learned last year was that when the FA meet with the media it won't mean a thing. I believe Fred Taylor, Freddie Keiaho, and Laveranues Coles all met with the Buffalo media last year during Free Agency...

  8. didn't do well in Senior Bowl practices but was arguably the best QB in the GAME. Isn't the game what counts? Wasn't aware that what you do in practice is more important than the game itself. Not trying to say practices arent important. But he's not seeing the actual defense of the other team for one, and some people perform well (and sometimes better) under pressure.
  9. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...ine-mocktacular No. 9 Buffalo Bills Kiper's pick: Russell Okung, Oklahoma State tackle McShay's pick: Sam Bradford, Oklahoma quarterback Banks' pick: Jimmy Clausen, Notre Dame quarterback Brooks' pick: Bryan Bulaga, Iowa tackle Burke's pick: Jimmy Clausen, Notre Dame quarterback Lines' pick: Dan Williams, Tennessee defensive tackle Rang's pick: Jimmy Clausen, Norte Dame quarterback Reuter's pick: Bryan Bulaga, Iowa tackle Wilson's pick: Bryan Bulaga, Iowa tackle
  10. I see you overlooked his two fumbles from under center in the senior bowl...I don't know about you but for me that would make me want to look at other options. that is just one more thing that Tebow is going to have to be taught when he gets to the NFL.
  11. once again...what college injury history? yes he hurt his shoulder this year. he then came back too early and re-injured it. other than that i cannot remember another injury that Bradford has suffered. and all of the sudden one extensive injury makes him injury prone. I personally would not mind Bradford.
  12. Ok. Couple issues with this. You cannot call him a spread QB just because of the system he was in. Senior Bowl he went under center just fine...where Tebow under center fumbled I think twice? My other issue is that you name off two games that you say are tough defenses and LeFEVOUR bombed!? Most MAC teams don't stand a chance against BCS conference teams and last time I checked for a QB to succeed he needs his O-Line and Recievers to play their parts too. I believe during the season on this board there were people defending Trent and Fitz saying that the blame can't rest solely on the QB. Though I do think we have a QB issue I agree that everything can't be blamed on the QB especially for TWO GAMES. From the Senior Bowl 2010 Aftermath on Bleacher Report: QB Dan LeFevour (Central Michigan, North): As far as QB's go, the story all week was Tim Tebow this, Tim Tebow that with a little bit of Cincinnati's Tony Pike (who was decent today) sprinkled in. Truth is, I don't know how LeFevour has been overlooked for so long. He was easily the best signal caller today going 5 for 10, 97 yards and a TD. He even had a momentum swinging rushing TD. More importantly, he looked very comfortable in the pocket. This all only adds to his impressive college stats. While at CMU he passed for almost 13,000 yards. For his performance today he was given the North's most outstanding player award. Perhaps today's performance will reap more rewards come April. Projection: He's a Bill Parcell's type QB - an accomplished four year starter. He goes between the third and fourth with huge upside. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/336393-...ners-and-losers
  13. I understand exploring all options to address the QB situation. But you know the QB situation on your team is atrocious when people think the fix could be a guy like Tyler Thigpen...
  14. Red Hot Chili Peppers would be high energy and fun to watch. A Lot of people around my age (20) like them and I know alot of people in their 30's and 40's that like them too.
  15. Just to make something clear. If we still have a dysfunctional OL next year and Nix and Gailey are set on drafting a QB first round...Clausen had an invisible OL at Notre Dame too. So he IS kinda used to it. Not sure if I would like the Clausen pick...would rather go OL or DE first round, go whichever one you didn't draft in the first in the second round, then take Dan LeFevour in the third. But that's just me...
  16. Yeah. Especially since Gailey didn't have anyone good on his Cowboys team...I mean Troy Aikman sucked. Emmitt Smith wasn't any good either. Neither was Michael Irvin
  17. yeah that is basically what I was getting at...the numbers just make you that much more pissed off
  18. Marty's 200-126-1 record is just too mediocre...we are WAY more comfortable with 18-14...(please correct me if I got the records wrong.)
  19. better than the QB rating the current Bills QB's have in the playoffs...
  20. Anyone see all of those key drops Shipley had in the National Championship? Not saying that is an indicator of his career in any way but I mean I was even getting pissed off at it and I was rooting for Bama
  21. DT??? I think we need a DE more than DT. If you think Stroud and Williams aren't a good enough combo up the middle then your standards are unbelievably high. Stroud is a three time pro bowler and Williams was an alternate this year. Maybin showed he cannot do anything even against a second string Colts offense and Schobel may be retiring. If anything on the DL I think DE is the most pressing need.
  22. At a family christmas party me and my cousin bet on how many kids would cry on santa's lap... just felt like reinforcing the fact that people will bet on anything
  23. I've seen nothing of any other injuries besides the shoulder that he hurt this year. so I would like to see proof that he is a "cream puff"
