I used the chiefs and eagles because they didnt just choose another position they prioritized the position then chose a different wr than metcalf who are much worse than metcalf. Jjaw who the eagles took is every bit as bad as cody ford. Taking metcalf over ford was clearly the right choice but thats not at all what was being discussed. Metcalf being some cant miss prospect was. Also are you arguing prioritizing the wr position over building the oline? I disagree with that take if so. This year is a good example of that. I think the Bills will benefit more fixing the o line as opposed to finding a wr2. The chiefs have a worse wr room than the bills imo.

He only has 67 total college catches. Don't forget he also had a neck injury that was concerning and the agility weren't just low for his draft they were low for a wr in any draft. A simple google search will show a plethora of articles stating concern for his agility scores. Again he wasn't a can't miss no brainer prospect. He ended up being great pick but he was taken 64th overall and was the 9th receiver taken. There were some very good receivers taken before him including aj brown and deebo samuel. There were also misses by the chiefs and eagles who were the representatives in the super bowl. You firing those scouts?

Check again the only thing he set a record for was fastest 40 for a player over 225 lbs. The only thing he was best at his own combine was most bench presses. He had the 30th 20 yard shuttle and 27th 3 cone drill which called into question his agility along with a neck injury in college. He wasnt the can't miss prospect you are smugly declaring him to be.

I agree with your overall point but the Patriots never won the super bowl when they had to play in the wild card round. They only won when they had a first round bye. Now that the #1 team is the only one to get a bye, it is even more difficult. In previous years, that bye would have been a tremendous help to this year's Bills team. In fact 2 of the 3 years under the new format, the Bills would have had a bye. Who knows how beneficial that could have been. Here are some I haven't seen mentioned: 1. Ernie Adams - he was the voodoo master. I have mentioned before but he was someone who broke down film each week. I believe he was obsessive and searched until he found tendencies that could be exploited. The weird thing is, it was never really revealed what he did. 2. Dante Scarnecchi (sp?) - possibly the best OL coach of all time. Retired for a year or 2 and the line performed noticeably worse. Returned and the OL returned to form. 3. Gronk - love him or hate him he is in the top 5 at the very least greatest TEs of all time. 4. BBs ability to adapt. He was always ahead of the game seemingly and willing to zig when others zagged.

I wont say 100% but thats a weird move. If 90% of the bets go on the bills you would expect it to move to 11 or 11.5. With it coming down tuas return is the most likely reason imo. I acknowledge that being down to the 3rd string fs and missing von are troublesome. That said.... Bills got a goalline stop against the vikings after the 4th and 18 play. They made the play that would have won the game if not for josh fumbling the snap. They made the stop in the first miami game to get the ball back. They held the chiefs to their 2nd lowest point total of the year. This defense is good again people are emotional when watching which makes it really hard to compare to other teams. Additionally a lot of people here don't watch other teams in general. If you and others are this concerned about the bills defense how do you feel about the chiefs? Or the Bengals for that matter? The chiefs defense has been suspect all year Other than sack numbers. I did a quick cursory look but couldn't find a single defensive stat the bengals were better than the bills in. Stop being worried about who we have to play. Those teams have to play us!

I haven't done my mid week re-watch yet so it will be interesting to see about Poyer sliding over. I was surprised to see Marlowe got 100% of the snaps. I was wondering if we might see Siran Neal relive his college glory days but it was not meant to be lol. That's a nice tidbit as well about Frazier too. I too thought Hamlin was playing as good as could be expected for a 2nd year player drafted late. The Bills are down to their 3rd string FS. That alone can cause some problems. They are missing their best pass rusher that contributes to longer times to cover. All that and the Bills have still won 7 in a row. The Bills finished with the 5th lowest ypa against which is a strong indicator imo of pass defense. They were 14th against completion % so they are allowing short passes to be completed then rallying to the tackle. They gave up the 9th least td passes and tied for the 4th most interceptions. They aren't as bad as people think they are, it is just an emotional reaction as they are invested in the Bills success.

Would you mind elaborating on the outplayed the Bills? Allen threw for more yards and tds than tua and had a higher rating. The Bills had more total yards and first downs. TOP was separated by 14 seconds. The Bills won 3 of the 4 quarter score wise.

Here is an idea Play this week as normal. If kc beats vegas they get a bye. Bills get the 2 and bengals the 3 seed for 1st round opponents. If both teams win the divisional game is played in cincy as a quasi make up game. If the Bills make the afc championship game they host if not kc hosts If kc loses to vegas bills bengals gets played for the 1 seed loser goes home. 7 seed plays the 8th seed that just missed and the bye is removed. Nfl gets an extra playoff game, most issues get resolved with minimal disruption.

No the worst case is they score go for 2 and win. It worked so IT WAS THE RIGHT MOVE. They won the game it was the right move. Youre last thought is don't pretend nothing could go wrong but you act as if nothing could go wrong with your just score scenario. We have seen a team score with 13 seconds why even risk it? Every team in the playoffs can cause problems for every other team. The last super bowl winners: #4 seed Rams #5 Bucaneers #2 Chiefs #2 Patriots You have to go all the way to 2017 before you find a #1 seed from either conference that won the super bowl. The point is to make the playoffs. They have done that through all the injuries, through one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. You can be doom and gloom and nothing will convince you otherwise clearly. Or you can enjoy the ride. Ultimately all your hand wringing means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme. It has no effect on the Bills. So you can either enjoy the ride or be miserable worrying about every tiny little thing. The chiefs just went to ot with the worst team in the league they must suck. The bengals lost to the 6-8 steelers the bills beat by 35 they must suck. The eagles only beat the 3-11 bears by 5 they must sick. The niners lost to those 3-11 bears they must suck. Cowboys just lost in ot to the jaguars they must suck. So I guess nobody is good enough to win the super bowl this year....
