An Idea for a potential Bills draft trade down with Atlanta!
Malazan replied to JaCrispy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not a draft or situation to be trading down for the Bills. Despite the strange belief that the Bills roster has holes everywhere.. most of these rookies won't make the roster. They should be trading up to target guys they want and picking fewer overall players this year. -
This sounds it should be taken with a huge grain of salt. Remember, Beane likes to be 'in' on every deal he can to gather information about who's going where at what price.. it's useful to know who *is* trying to sign him and how much they're giving him.. The end of his time here previously aside, he's been degrading each year. He'd be a depth guy at this point that I probably wouldn't want him starting games outside of injury fill-in. If I had a choice.. I'd currently take Levi Wallace at 4 million over Gilmour.. and I doubt Gilmour is looking at playing for 4 million.

You might want to take a step back and analyze if what you see is reality. Wade's out there.. let's see all the teams that rush to put him on the field. Maybe all 32 NFL teams have a bit of an idea of what's going on? Maybe..just maybe.. and I know this will sound crazy.. you might be wrong.

Josh back working with Palmer..
Malazan replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sam Darnold does actually work with Palmer. It is surmised that he is the QB that Palmer was speaking about when comparing Allen's drive in that he gets something down then goes and does it a hundred more times compared to 'another qb that palmer worker with..' who'd get it once then figure that he's 'got it' and would stop. -
I agree with him and corporations do a lot of dumb things, but they have to have some sort of numbers. Perhaps, it just a matter of framing.. the guys they pay big bucks to chase the fewest number of people away.. I have my suspicions it's more about attention away from the broadcast than how great they are at calling a game. If you have a circle jerk of people talking about so and so and how great they are then they're talking about your network. Go post a topic about Collinsworth sucking and watch it get several pages every time.

I've not seen anyone make the assertion they don't make mistakes, but given the track record.. defaulting to "they made a huge blunder" doesn't make sense. In fact, I continually make the claim that beane is good because he limits the impact of his risks and moves on.

Bruce Arians steps down - moves to Front Office
Malazan replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope he goes full crazy old man now. -
..because obviously the Bills front office is incompetent. If they hadn't drafted Josh Allen, they would really be screwed!

If you read between the lines of this, you can tell he's already gone.

What non-QB has the highest trade value in the NFL?
Malazan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right now, it's probably Baker Mayfield. -

Sometimes, when everyone disagrees with you.. it's not because you're a secret genius.. it might going the other way. -

The stats speak for themselves. You should take a look. Beasley fell off a cliff (that's not to say he wasn't effective, but compared to previous seasons.. there was a stark difference). Whatever the Bills felt about him off the field, they replaced his production for about half the cost with a younger player which strikes me of much greater interest to them. -

ok? I posted stats. No one posts stats that include regular season and playoffs. You can do with them what you will. -

The two seasons are pretty close. I went with 2019 personally because more catches and my own bias that I watched every jets game with him and he put that team on his back. You're probably correct that while he fewer catches, he had 1 more TD, 14 more yards and 3.8% higher catch percent in 2016. -

It's the season under "Best Season" in my post aka 2020. I did not differentiate between QBs. That is not how stats work. -
