The gifs would almost certainly be fair use. This is just like them putting the whole "This telecast is copyrighted by the NFL for the private use of our audience. Any other use of this telecast or of any pictures, descriptions, or accounts of the game without the NFL's consent, is prohibited." You absolutely can use portions of the descriptions and accounts of the telecast (note: they're talking about the broadcasters..not some random person describing the game) under fair use.

It's hogwash from the reporter circle jerk. The National writer doesn't have any insight into the situation so they go to a local reporter and ask him about it then "Sources close to the team" say that some coaches wanted Cassel based on what a reporter *thinks*.

They criticized Cassel being the number 2. They're aware, but they want clicks and going negative generates clicks from people who think it was a bad idea and then from people who think it was a good idea who are aghast at how they can't realize something so obvious.

I think the problem lies in the Offense not the defensive line not getting to the QB in less than 1.5 seconds.

It would likely expand the market for the Bills much like it does for the Sabres. You'd have a lot more people from Toronto coming down to Bills home games. Sabres also have a lot of fans in Southern Ontario with the behemoth of the Leafs franchise in Toronto.
