  1. No issue with it at all. With their position on the field, and the fact they had the back-up punter in the game, April should have had the guys more aware of the possibility. So if anything it is a good preseason reminder for our special teams to pay closer attention and play situational football once the regular season rolls around.
  2. That's awesome to hear. I have tickets for the Buffalo show in October. Was the opening band any good?
  3. Seriously? Not sure how much you watch football but good preseason records almost never correlate with superbowl championships.
  4. They'll get another shot at these guys in November so I would rather have the players save that a55 kicking revenge for a game that counts.
  5. I agree it would make them less worn down using the clock that way therefore the "no-huddle will kill our defense" argument doesn't make sense. I was just saying that the defense has traditionally been worn down come the 4th quarter anyway these past few years so would likely still be beat up come the end of the game this season anyway. -See Bills Defense 4th Quarter Rushing Stats-
  6. I would agree with this 100% in the regular season..... But in pre-season I think the number one goal is to get your starters a little game tested and then evaluate the bubble talent. Winning the game should definitely be the least important thing for a coach until the real games start.
  7. That's true. I noticed a couple times when Trent was still in the game that he ran the play clock down to almost zero. If that is the norm in the regular season I suppose we can expect the Bill's D to be just as run down and pushed around in the 4th as always.
  8. I think you pretty much nailed it with that post. Excellent description of a season in the life of a Bills fan. Seriously, you should write for WGR.
  9. Seems to me Lynch and Roscoe could both be a lot better served by picking a running lane and taking off a lot more quickly than they do now. I guess their thinking is 15 plays in a row of a couple yards or less followed by the occasional big break away play is worth it. The team would be a lot better off though if they took the ball and just moved forward and I agree for Roscoe it likely would help to avoid big hits if he would just start running instead of dancing.
  10. What makes it even worse is that the Titans had almost a week less of camp than the Bills. You would never have guessed that by watching the two teams play last night.
