  1. I did see Keenum on the list of 7 people struggling. Interestingly, Mitch Turbisky may be getting passed by Rudolph on the Steelers. If that happened, would Mitch be back? (Rudloph is better than people think, so him winning the QB competition should not be surprising) https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/mason-rudolph-the-most-hated-man-in-pittsburgh/ar-AA10nu4e?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=bc953b3a17aa481ca09cd124bff78990
  2. Every time I see this topic, I think it says “Saffold”. Scares me.
  3. basham was a horrid pick, namely because he looks league average and Humphrey is tan all-pro, and we could use those on the OL.
  4. If Elam is not looking ready, I wonder if he starts week 1? Is Benford looking better?
  5. Sullivan is just saying that as bad as the KC loss was, at least there is hope for the future with Allen and it could be (and has been) worse. Also, a significant amount of Bills fans don’t live in Buffalo. I’m not sure what OP described about Buffalo is different than anyone, anywhere.
  6. blah, Kiper. Is Penning holding or playing after the whistle? If not, perhaps he's embarrassing vets and they are taking exception to it?
  7. Steelers #1 WR is ??? Could be Johnson, would be if he didn't drop the ball too often. Also Chase Claypool, but he's been a semi-disappointment for his physical tools. Also the rookie from GA is allegedly having a good camp. Hopefully Mitch does well there, then can get a starting gig elsewhere (Steelers needs to roll with Pickett at some point after drafting him high)
  8. what's this stuff about the cheap shots? Was he a rookie the same year as J. Byrd. They were both so good early, then nada.
  9. ok, I'll try. Elam is great, but will be held back by Frazier playing the CBs off the line. The FO will trade him too soon, and he'll be the next Wyatt Teller. That's all I got.
  10. I’d imagine he’d take painkillers before a game?
  11. Allen Robinson was a great signing by them. Likely better than Van Jefferson.
  12. this suck. Skilled player, unfortunately keeps getting hurt. Wonder who we bring in as a camp replacement. I'd go for someone with high upside? Perhaps Dez Bryant?
  13. Getting best by a backup QB, inferior offense was inexcusable.
  14. right, but there is a union and cba involved here, that tends to make this more complex all espn can do is interject their political lean. They never cover sports.
  15. not insensitive. This is why you need depth and good coaching in the NFL. dammit. also reason to have fantasy drafts late, IMO. Sports with contact or quick movements unfortunately have injuries.
  16. So I grew up in upstate NY and basically only watched Football and College Bball, so I'm a Bills/Cuse fan. Started watching hockey later in middle school when I moved to PGH, so I was a Pens fan. Still like the Sabers as a 2nd team, however. In terms of that survey: what. Blasphemy. I can't stand the Yankees, or Red Sox, likely ESPNs fault for over playing both teams. Time for another vote by the Buffalo News! Heck, a PGH paper should take a vote since we don't have a real major league team. I know many here either "follow the MLB" with no team, or chose Cleveland since it's the closest. I ended up with the Braves since they were on TV growing up, and the company my wife works for is based in ATL.
  17. he refuses to blitz, play press coverage, and plays off ball coverage on WRs. If those final 13 seconds did not display his inflexibility I don't know what does. Either pressure the QB quickly and have CBs back, or press coverage. Or mixture of both. It was the vanilla "prevent D" that "prevents you from winning" that we got.
  18. Yikes. Hope he is progressing well. I'd imagine Bean is on this and will have a FA backup RT lined up to start in case Brown is unavailable.
  19. Knox is the man.
  20. man that sucks. I thought we should have signed him as UDFA. Hopefully he stops getting hurt. what is up with that. Like, bad trainers there or something? I hope he is okay. Seems like a good dude. That said, Cry Brady always has had a top OL it seems. Hope Jensen is back so we can crush them in the SB.
  21. are there any Progressive Insurance commercials that are not annoying. I'd take Baker over Flow and that guy any day. Perhaps, hopefully, Progressive stops advertising during NFL games. Not sure I get all the Darnold hate here. He seems like a nice guy. Is he a QB1, nope, likely a career backup. But some of the comments make it seem like people want him to fail, strange. (I want all QBs to fail if playing the Bills)
  22. Agree with this. Unless Crowder is healthy and gets reps in with JA, McKenzie week 1 starter. Otherwise, I can see Crowder being the week 1 starter. Overall, I like all 3 of these guys. Good problem to have here. given his injury history he may cut himself tying his shoes, but I don't think he gets cut. Way too good when healthy.
  23. why did she pick up a Bills hat when in Buffalo. The answer is clear: she is a closet Bills fan raising her son to be a Bills fan!!! well, to be fair, we don't have a pro team here because our cheap owner Bob Nutting refuses to invest in a winning team. I've become a Braves fan living in PGH. haha. Bills, Pens, Braves.
  24. what’s wrong with him? Recovering from playing on the Jets??
