More good news, I’m headed across the country to spend the weekend with my 4 year old grandson. We’ll watch the game together. This will be the 4th time we’ve been able to do that. The other 3 games: (1) The Miami and Andy Dalton games at the end of the 17-18 season (he was a few months old, I almost spiked him when the Bengals scored). (2) The Cowboy’s Thanksgiving game - Josh’s coming-out party. (3) Last year’s game at NE. Bills crush the Pats and establish themselves at the Kings of the AFC East. (4) Watch party scheduled at his house for the 2021 KC game. He’ll have his Josh Allen jersey on. …. ???? Just saying, good things happen.

Really, tell me more. My point: it’s a silly highlight of a stat to establish an even sillier “record.” …. But I do wonder, who has the most catches in their first 21 games; now that is a record that truly means something.

Week 1 : Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 2 : Cleveland Browns Week 3 : Baltimore Ravens Week 4: Kansas City Chiefs Week 5: Tennessee Titans over Jacksonville Jaguars That's a bold pick. Scotty, "Swinging for the fence."

So, is this a record or a statistic? .... Was there anyone out there (besides these stat nerds) keeping track of how many catches people are getting in their first 20 games? Or ,10 games? Or, 30 games? etc. ... These things feel very contrived. I guess it gives us something to talk about, but again, I ask, is it really a record or just an interesting stat?

It is interesting that the bottom 4 were D-Linemen. Maybe the grading system is off? Bottom 5 grades (worst to 5th worst) 1) Basham 2) Epenesa 3) Rousseau 4) Zimmer
