  1. Is this the illegitimate love child of DeAndre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins? Bold Prediction: Not one Bills fan will get upset at Buffalo's first selection. Not only is it bold, it's completely unrealistic and as bad as at least half of the 'bold' predictions in this thread. (There is a difference between bold and completely ridiculous)
  2. I generally agree with the philosophy of trading down to acquire more picks because it gives you the latitude to have more misses with your swings or to keep moving around. I just don't think they made KC pay a premium. That 2nd Rounder should have been a non-starter, IMO.
  3. I believe you...and truer words were never spoken. There is also a Blue Knob State Park. Welcome to Pennsyltucky.
  4. Agreed. You have to wonder if Baltimore would have been better off trying to package Brown in a trade to move up the draft board similarly to what the Bills did with Cordy Glenn. Giving a 2nd Round pick back to KC in that trade was not good, IMO. As you said, KC is their #1 roadblock in the AFC. If they want your OT, make them pay a premium.
  5. Nobody has banged the drum harder for JOK than me and I'd love to have him added to the Bills' D. That said, I'm not trading that much draft capital when the team really needs to add at CB, Edge, WR, & IDL. Better to just admire him from afar and hope that he doesn't land with a division rival.
  6. Yes...and it's at the top of his head. Whether or not anybody thinks the rule change is bad is irrelevant. Brady will not elicit much empathy from anybody. He's an infamous whiner and has been involved in numerous cheating scandals during his career and is used to getting his way. I know it is hard for him to fathom but the league will survive without him or his opinions once he's gone. He's entering his 22nd year in the league and, if he can't handle this rule change or is afraid that his teammates can't, maybe it's time for him to finally hang them up. He's walking around with the 'GOAT' moniker...deal and STFU, Brady.
  7. Interesting that you should post this. I have actually taken him in the 7th in a few mock drafts just because I liked his Special Teams prowess and thought he also filled a need as a back end of the roster CB. These are the types of players to take a flier on that late. Cheap ST help with a chance to develop at a position of constant need.
  8. To be fair, it's not completely reflective of who everybody might have wanted. I voted for Terrace Marshall in Round 1 and when he had no chance of being the TBD choice, I went wIth Ossai simply as an anti-Etienne vote because it was close. I didn't vote for Shelvin in Round 2 (way too rich for me) but didn't change my original vote because there was no chance to avoid Shelvin. I voted for D'Wayne Eskridge in Round 3 and held firm until he was eliminated from contention. Of the three final choices, I wanted one of the secondary players so I went with Hamsah Nasirildeen but was fine with Trill Williams, as well. I was hoping for some combination of WR, CB, Edge. No WR was chosen and a developmental Edge was chosen. I would be disappointed if things actually fell this way but I don't think there is much worry of this happening on Beane's watch.
  9. Got Pfizer Round 2 early yesterday afternoon. So far, so good outside of a slightly sore left arm. We'll see if that's it. Fingers crossed. My wife and two sons all have appointments for Round 1 this coming Sunday.
  10. He should have the ability to play the 5-tech in a 4-3, as well, but Round 1 is a little rich for sure. He would look a lot better to me as a 2nd Round pick. I agree, Bloke. I think he gets a lot of love because of the lack of 'top end' options. Questions about his ability to reportedly stay motivated worry me. I have not taken him any higher than the 3rd or 4th (via a trade) in any mock I have done. He could end up being a great run-stuffer but won't help much on passing downs. Something about him just screams 'boom or bust' to me. You might hit a homerun with him for your front four but he does not come without a fair amount of risk if taking him prior to day 3, IMO.
  11. I voted 'Meh'. I don't get pissed because, ultimately, I (all of us) have no say in and have no control over what the team does or doesn't do. 'Disappointed' would probably better describe it for me but once the pick is made, I am rooting like hell for the player to be a successful Buffalo Bill regardless of whether or not I liked or agreed with the organization's decision. A nightmare to me is Bon Jovi or T-rump buying the team.
  12. No matter how much you may think of a prospect, only those with a realistic chance of being selected by the Bills (and in this poll) should be listed, IMO. People may not agree with the Ossai and Shelvin selections but at least they are/were realistic/viable options for the Bills. There is a next to zero percent chance that Beane selects Kellen Mond in Round 3 He doesn't need to be included in these options.
  13. Had to be let go because the Pegulas thought it would make the Sabres better, too...
  14. I see what you did there, comrade.
  15. Here's the audio. @YoloinOhio may have the video for you. https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/podcasts/bills-football-20262
  16. Beane sucking Marcel into his 'web'. 🤔 😄
  17. No, you didn't "fix it" for me. That is what Beane was talking about at the time when someone asked him about KC. Maybe listen next time before being a wise ass. Jesus H...
  18. He said that they will decide on the 5th year options for Josh and Edmunds "after the draft". The draft ends May 1st and the deadline to pick up the options is May 3rd. That is a tight window. Nobody realistically thinks there is a decision to be made with Josh. That is a no-brainer and a slam dunk. He probably couched it that way so as not to tick off Edmunds' camp. JMO
  19. Yeah. He's always very calculated and holds his cards close to the vest. Nothing from that presser told me that Etienne is "their guy". That's more people projecting their personal 'want' of Etienne.
  20. 'MSG Western New York'...channel 635-1 on DTV.
  21. Also...will only look if he brings something to the RB room that the other RBs do not. Acknowledged that neither Moss nor Singletary are 'homerun hitters' but that even they possess different traits.
  22. Will definitely take the pick (#30) if they really like the player and he has a solid, 1st Round grade.
  23. On the opt out guys: Hard to evaluate. Watching '18 tape, in some cases. "Hard to get to know these guys."
