  1. Really thought the Cards would go offense.
  2. If Belicheat wants Mac Jones, he's got him now without a trade up.
  3. Jest are trading up to take Mac Jones just to stick it to Belichick. 🤣
  4. This year's draft hats are straight-up, cheap-looking trash.
  5. Buh-bye, Fields. You're up, Mac.
  6. They still can. The questions about his character fit their culture perfectly.
  7. In division trade between the Cowpukes and Iggles. Wow.
  8. He's certainly got the bloodlines to back that up.
  9. Denver had better do the right thing here and take Fields. If they don't, I have a bad feeling that he'll end up in NE*.
  10. I will say that they attempt to trade up somewhere in the 19-24 range to secure one of Paye or Newsome, if they are still there. If neither are there... They stay at 30 and take one of the Edge rushers who remain between Phillips, Oweh, or Rousseau. If none of the three are there... They take Etienne. If he is not there... They trade out of the 1st Round. Scenario nobody suspects: They eschew Farley's medicals and swing for the fences on his talent. If you're pinning me down for one, I'll say they end up with Oweh because he has the type of measurables they covet and they will hope to coach him up. If they can't get Newsome but Farley is still there at 30 and they truly don't trust his medicals, I think they'll wait to grab their CB in Round 2 or Round 3. I also think they'll take at least two CBs in this draft (three, if you include S). GO BILLS!!!
  11. 'Yes'. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have absolutely no control over who this franchise takes, who they hire, or anything else they do. Whether I like the pick or not, I will pull like hell for him to be a success in a Buffalo uniform because I, like the rest of you, want this team to win a Super Bowl(s). I'm on record as saying I don't want Etienne in the 1st Round but I would not be upset about it either if he is the pick because I know what he can potentially bring to the offense. I'm going to enjoy the ride and hope that whoever it is ends up being the right pick immediately or soon down the line. It's nice to be in a position for a change to not have to hit on a position of great need. All of the fan bases who will witness their team take a QB will have to sweat out whether or not he's 'The Franchise' like Josh or 'JAG' like EJ (sorry to open any old wounds). GO BILLS!!!
  12. I just hope after the Bills pick, that long, drawn-out drum roll doesn't end in a rimshot.
  13. This makes sense as Joe D also played for the Browns. Nice tie-in there.
  14. There is absolutely no way they go 7-9. 😇
  15. PFN: Decided to make some trades and just have a little fun before this all comes to an end.
  16. The closer we get to Thursday, the more this one makes me nervous. I have been firmly in the 'CB, Edge, WR' camp but, outside of Kwity Paye, I hope that it's not an Edge until Round 2. If you go back and look at the hit rate for Edge defenders in the bottom quarter of Round 1 for the last decade or so, it's atrocious. Barring a Josh Allen-type of bullseye at DE, it's statistically likely to be a swing and a miss. I'm hoping that they can land somebody like Turner in Round 2 or if they trade back into the 2nd, maybe somebody with the raw skills to be a homerun like Rousseau. I'm starting to feel more and more that if they stay at 30 and go Edge, it will be Oweh.
  17. Few, if any (@Blokestradamus?), put in this much time and effort. Flaming away is unnecessary and not an option. Great job and thank you for taking the time to share. The one thing that nobody can quantify...no matter how much they scout or research...is a kid's heart, drive, and desire to win and to be the best. Josh has that intangible/internal makeup which is a big reason for his unicorn-like improvement, IMO. He has that 'it' factor that you just can't teach or coach up and we all are the beneficiaries of that, thankfully. Like many here, I was hoping when he was drafted that we were taking 'Right Josh' Rosen. Thank God that Beane and company were in charge and not any of us. Unlike many, however, I didn't lose my shite when Allen's name was called. I was disappointed but thought, "I hope they got it right with this kid." Too many were blinded by their own agenda to even give Allen a chance. They were convinced that he sucked and would never get better. Period. Patience has gone the way of the dinosaur, especially regarding NFL QBs. Anyway, thanks again for the analysis. Cheers!
  18. It's funny now to see how many of those guys have no chance of being taken in the 1st Round. Interestingly, CBS Sports has Stokes going to the Bills. Whether you like that or hate it, it's still a possibility.
  19. You suggested it, so I asked. No emoji, no 'LOL' so it read as a serious take on your part. Don't sweat it, carry on.
  20. So they'll trade away their cost controlled 1st Round draft pick for a player (albeit very good) with a $14M+ cap hit? How many starters are you planning to cut to achieve this? This is the defensive version of Screamin' A. Smith suggesting they trade for Julio Jones.
