Once Spiller showed what he could truly do, after Freddie's injury, I don't think there's anything to worry about here. Agreed, Promo. He's the THIRD RB. By all accounts he's a solid locker room guy, Chan & Buddy like him, and he fills a need. Again, solid depth. I can't believe that anyone would actually be Jonesing over re-signing him as veteran insurance. I guess things are looking up if this all we have to B word about these days.

Very cool. Sounds like a great time. We haven't had this much anticipation and excitement leading up to a Bills season in a loooooooooooooong time....and we haven't even seen the draft additions to come.

That's a fair enough assessment, JH. My point to the other poster was simply that I personally don't put too much stock in pro days. I wouldn't discount overall body of work for any player in favor of one pro day.

He'll likely go 4 or 5 whether by one of those teams sitting there or by someone willing to trade up and get him. Smart money is on the Bucs at 5. It would be a huge shock if he made it to 10. If by some miracle he did, I can't see the Bills trading out. They'd grab him in a heartbeat, IMO. He's that good.

This is exactly the game it will be...probably Week 3 or 4. Starting in Week 2, the NFL will be airing Thursday Night games and every team will be shown at least once. This will be the only prime time game for the Bills unless they are flexed to an NBC Sunday night game in December.

Lloyd and Pats* OC Josh McDaniels have a hard-on for one another due to their time together in Denver and St. Louis. It would actually be more newsworthy if he signed with somebody other than the Belicheats*.
