Nice! My dark ages at VCU are even darker than yours, LOL ('86 grad). I wanted the Bills to sign former VCU basketball player Mo Alie-Cox just so I could say that Buffalo had a VCU grad. Not many opportunities for a basketball only school to get a guy into the NFL. Mo is a TE for the Colts so we do at least have a guy in the NFL. -

No way! Seriously, Scott? That's awesome. My son got into the School of Engineering. He wants to be either a mechanical or civil engineer and is finishing up a two year Engineering program now in high school being taught by VCU professors (my alma mater). He was accepted to the VCU School of Engineering, as well, and was offered a partial scholarship but VT was his first choice so it's on to Blacksburg this fall. -

Listening to his interview with the media now on WGR. Wow. Very articulate and sounds pumped. He's mentioned guys on the team by name like Trent Murpy, said "we traded up for a franchise QB so that piece is in place", said that comparisons of himself to Kyle Williams are unfounded because he could never compare himself to a player like Kyle who will have a "special history in the game". Looking forward to Kyle taking him under his wing. The kid is knowledgeable, excited, and humble. Fantastic get if it all translates on the field.- 363 replies

Forgive my ignorance but why is Edmunds nose so big?
ExWNYer replied to BrycePaup4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's good to be Tremaine Edmunds' nose, just ask these guys... And Tremaine has endorsement opps... -
I'm sure that of the 'Big Four' (Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen, & Allen), Allen wouldn't have been the first choice of "most" Bills fans...but whether the Bills had chosen Allen or any of the other three, there would have been a segment of the fan base that was going to be pissed at the selection regardless. That's the nature of today's hot take interwebs. I, for one, admit to being crestfallen when they chose Allen over Rosen but I quickly moved on and hope that the organization got the right guy. As fans, that's all we can do whether or not we agree with the team's choices. Go Josh Allen and GO BILLS!!!

HERE WE GO! GIANTS looking to TRADE DOWN
ExWNYer replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha! No kidding, I just went back and listened again. He may have actually been saying that he'd be "shocked" if the Giants took a QB. Trying to work with this on in the background. -

FWIW (probably not much), Phil Simms is saying right now on 'One Bills Live' that he will be "SHOCKED" if the Giants trade out of #2. -

We'll see, Benjamin. You may not be all that bright... -
Thanks for the effort and sharing this, Bandit. Solid and well thought out, as always. I love the thought of the Bills landing Darnold and hope you're right. The one thing I disagree with is your Redskins pick. The tea leaves here in Virginia seem to be pointing towards defense. I think they're staying put and hoping to land someone like Vita Vea but, then again, they are the Redskins so they always reserve the right to screw it up. Again, nice job.

A couple Bills Rumors from WGR sports talk Saturday

I don't know about that. Bobby may not have the physical tools of the other two but he was the one who manged to get Joe Namath to come to the house. He would be the better field general, IMO. -

Much like Flutie and Johnson, there was a lot of animosity between Young and Montana. They definitely didn't like one another. The difference was that they were both phenomenal, Super Bowl winning QBs unlike Flutie and Johnson who were whiny, journeyman, nobodies.
