  1. !@#$ that piece of **** King Roger.
  2. This isn't college where all a RB has to do is run. This is the next level. There are plenty of college backs that can run very well and that's all. They generally won't amount to **** in the NFL. They certainly will not end up as elite backs. For touchdowns, say one back runs the ball the first 99 yards and someone else comes in and gets that last yard and the touchdown. Both backs are of equal value to you? At the end of the day one got 99 yards and the other got 1. The latter just happened to end up in the end zone.
  3. In my opinion a starting NFL running back needs to be able to: 1) Gain yards without holes being made by the O-Line that you could drive a truck through 2) Catch passes including running good routes 3) Block on passing plays I consider 1 and 2 of equal importance with 3 just slightly behind (but still very important). Scoring touchdowns is irrelevant as it is just yardage where you happen to be near the goal line. Regarding Spiller so far in his NFL career, I don't think he has shown consistent ability for any of the 3.
  4. Ahhh OK.
  5. So a RB being able to pick up a blitzing LB and keeping your QB alive and healthy is not important? Damn dude, I'm glad I'm not playing QB on a team you are coaching.
  6. At least for my taste he is far FAR too much of a homer. I have to say though that the last game I heard him do he wasn't nearly as bad as he had been.
  7. I haven't seen a number but I think a few thousand left and TV would have bought them. I'm guessing the number is considerably north of 3000.
  8. Yeah I am sure they are monitoring posts here not knowing what one effect of a blackout is. Seems like your paranoia meds have stopped working.
  9. Don't feel bad. Blacked out in Buffalo/Rochester as well. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/124344-this-weeks-game-is-blacked-out/
  10. Get those computers fired up!
  11. Very true of typical employer/employee relationships. When you get into management in the "real world" with considerably bigger salaries/responsibilities the employee is under contract to the employer with the terms of the contract negotiable. One of the terms frequently is buyout or termination or "golden parachute" where if the employee gets the boot for whatever reason, (s)he still gets some or all of the money left for the remainder of the contract. A sweet deal really if you are the employee. If you are the employer, not so much.
  12. My kids nicknamed our dog "beastmode".
  13. Thank goodness our opponent doesn't have Gailey and Fitz. Thanks for that good chuckle during this otherwise ****ty week
  14. I just checked on ticketmaster and had no trouble getting multiple blocks of 8 tickets anywhere in the stadium. Of course this could mean there are 1000 tickets left and TV will buy them up, but I'm thinking it will be internet hookup to the TV again this week.
  15. Yes, I said FAVORITE! Haven't seen that for a while
  16. There, fixed
  17. He is too small to run over anyone.
  18. Or maybe Brady Quinn!!!
  19. When did you turn into such a doom and gloomer? Shouldn't it be 6 9 and 10 baby!!!
  20. So this is what it has come to. Arguing which team is more of a joke? Lets try and grow up people.
  21. Well Lady, surely that halo precludes you from wishing physical harm to Misters Brady and Sanchez just because the Bills play them both in the upcoming weeks
  22. I kept reading and reading waiting for the punch line that never came.
  23. I got all misty eyed when I read this. Maybe they can all go out for ice cream after the game to make them feel better.
  24. I can't believe the NFL is open and honest enough for that information to be made public.
  25. Truer words were never spoken. Nix should have that phrase tattooed on his forehead.
