One of the talking heads last night was saying it could be as many as 11. I believe the comment was that it was a great time to be named Cowher or Gruden.
-
I could see them trading a first for a couple 2nd's or more in future years too. Probably deal it to the Bills for 2 future 1st round picks so Buddy can take another skatback to make his offensive line better. (just kidding, just kidding )

Without a milliseconds delay, yes. In fact, oh HELL yes. But the Pats didn't get to where they are today from being an organization that makes stupid trades like that.

Do we actually have any Pro Bowl players?
CodeMonkey replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The pro bowl is more of a joke now than it has been in the past. It essentially is a popularity contest the players would go to to get a free trip to Hawaii. Now that it is not in Hawaii, many opt not to play. Plus any players playing in the superbowl obviously aren't going to play. As to your other question about playing on other teams, I don't see any players on this team, with the exception of maybe the kickers, starting on any teams in the top half of the standings. Yeah, rebuilding this team through the draft is going to take quite some time. -
According to the news they stayed at the Hyatt and had dinner at Dinosaur BBQ.

Too bad the game is going to be cold and not at the Ralph. Female Bills fans could have taken off their shoes and wiggled their toes at Ryan to distract him (like when he is contemplating a challenge)

The quarterback of the future
CodeMonkey replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think everyone here respects what Fitz has done this season, particularly given the rest of the talent on the team. But he truly is just not accurate enough to be a consistent top QB at this level. He has brass balls for sure and tries to make throws not many other starting QBs would even attempt, and he has completed more than his fair share of those this season. But eventually you are going to run into DBs that do not have stone hands and they are going to catch your bad passes. Up until yesterday Fitz has been blessed by playing against stone hands DBs. Yesterday he paid the full price. Fitz has 15 INTs this partial season. He could very easily have made Eli Mannings INT number of 24 look like all star material. Fitz is a very good backup in my opinion and is capable to run the offense during the rebuild (God knows he can take a beating). But to take the next step, we need a starting QB. -
Succinct, to the point, and 100% correct. Whew. Thank you. I was beginning to think I wouldn't see a "the refs are biased" comment after yesterdays loss.

I knew there had to be something! I'm pretty sure that was Blaire.

I refuse to acknowledge any Buffalo Bill with a first name of Blaine.

Looks like this offseason is shaping up to be a real musical chairs game for head coaches.

A Few Thoughts About The Game
CodeMonkey replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would you B word out 1 rookie player for that fiasco. Gailey needs to B word himself out first for that non existent game plan. Not that any game plan was going to change the outcome of that game. But it would be nice to see the Bills looking like they have an idea of what they should be doing out there. Fitz always "wings it". It's who he is. Its just that he ran into some DBs yesterday that could actually catch balls thrown right to them for a change. -
SI Writers are Ridiculous

You own me a new shirt. You made me laugh coffee out my nose all over this one -
Have you not been paying attention? Nix has said he will build from the draft, not free agency. Draft the right guys to win? You don't think that is what they are trying to do? They just don't seem to be able to. Nix has not made a believer out of me so far with Spiller as his first marquee pick.

SI Writers are Ridiculous

You are right of course. But you always have to remember that national sports writers don't give a **** about the Bills. They have been irrelevant for 11 years now and counting and a team with a 4-11 record isn't going to make them sit up and take notice. They feel no need to spend any time on the Bills and for good reason. They don't realize that Mr. Wilson likes what Chan has done lately with the team, is a capable coach, and no doubt is not costing him a fortune. They cannot, and do not, see the reasons for keeping Chan. In their minds any coach of a 4-11 team has his head on the chopping block. -
No. The picks were just horrifically thrown passes. Fitz had a horrible day. That is going to happen to a "gunslinger" from time to time. All season he has been throwing balls he probably should not have thrown. Finally he ran into a defense that made him pay. Not that the rest of the team was doing any better. And I disagree with Fitz's statement that he lost them that game. The entire team and coaching staff got owned. Not just Fitz. Maybe it will end up being a good thing, showing them just how far they still have to go. Nothing quite so humbling as a complete and thorough ass kicking. It looked like men playing against boys out there.

Maybe he is just trying to fit in with the rest of the team.

A Few Thoughts About The Game
CodeMonkey replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only thing remotely positive I saw was Naaman Roosevelt. Well that and the other Buffalo native Rob Gronkowski. -
I agree. Out of that entire steaming pile of **** today that was the Buffalo Bills ... and it was a world class steaming pile of **** in absolutely every way (except Naaman Roosevelt) ... Moorman is what you want to focus on? Not Fitz, Spiller, Gailey ... ???

How I would treat Tom Brady
CodeMonkey replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So coach, lets hear your game plan for a basically talentless team beating probably the best team in the league this season. -
So how do you figure one win is going to hurt this team in the draft?

It's possible that we kick the Jets out too
CodeMonkey replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah that certainly sucks. A 100% meaningless game now. Well, maybe foot fetish boy will play some second stringers. -
He is A problem. Not THE problem. And not even the BIGGEST problem. But A problem nonetheless.

HOLY BUTTS KICKING BATMAN!!!!

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily and annihilate any brain cell that dares to acknowledge there was a game at the Ralph today.
