And why is that do you think? My guess it is because of what Gailey sees during the week in practice. We the fans don't need to see Spiller play. We also do not decide how many touches he gets. It is Gaileys decision as to how much to play Spiller based on how capable the coaches, and mainly Gailey, thinks he is. If he sucks in practice (which I am assuming he is doing or he would be getting more touches), what makes you think a superstar will emerge on the field game day? -
Agree to disagree I guess. I see no substance in those things that you seem to think indicate a winning mentality.
-
And I have a hard time believing anyone would give a **** who a football player gives a ball to.
-
I'd rather score with his girl. She is hot. Too many wet blankets here. He rarely gets to play in front of his girl or their families and he did something nice. Why get your panties in a bunch because she is hot enough to be a cowboys cheerleader. People need to stop sweating the stupid little ****.

When was the last time you saw a 2-7 team a favorite against a 5-4 team?
-
Many down there see it as a win for the fish and many up here see it as a win for the Bills. Reality is probably what the OP said, pick-em.

I agree the defense is still very bad. The way the cowboys walked down the field at will the entire first half and scored 7 every time they got the ball, as well as the fact that Romo had more TD passes in the first half than incompletions says that in spades. But how in the world can you think the offense is anything close to acceptable? They have 1 play maker, Fred Jackson, and he won't be around for too many more years. And one is no where near "enough". The Bills have one game, the short pass game along with Jackson running. Period. Disrupt that, as the Jets and Cowboys showed, and the offense is done. Yes the defense is not talented, but neither is the offense. A few more good drafts, at the very least, are needed. -
CJ Spiller Is going to be a weapon
CodeMonkey replied to EldaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"CJ Spiller Is going to be a weapon" ... just not for the Bills. The Bills will trade or release him in a couple years and he will end up in a offensive scheme that can use a back like him and he will blossom. That's my opinion anyway. -
I disagree with this. The Bills are a little worse for wear as most teams are due to injuries. But overall they are not getting worse week to week. Early in the season the Bills D was getting very lucky with tips and other deflections falling into their hands and the results were lots of INTs and some pick-6's. That kind of luck is not sustainable over the course of a season as we are now seeing. The offense has been figured out now as well. You take away the short passing game as the Jets and now the Cowboys have done and that's pretty much it for the Bills Offense. None of this should be a surprise for long time Bills fans. Most should know the Bills are at least 2 more good drafts from being competitive with the better teams in the NFL. Miami is playing well, won their last 2 and the game is on grass next week. The fish were looking like sure wins for the Bills a few short weeks ago, but not so anymore.

Sadly that was the highlight of the game.

Talking heads just said Romo had more TD passes in the first half than in-completions. That's amazing.

Just got the text of Bills inactives and Johnson is not on it.

Colin Cowherd Show "I don't like Buffalo..
CodeMonkey replied to Quinn Early's Ghost's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills are an average team if you just look at the players. Their record so far this year shows a team that has overachieved, due partly to a lot of luck (bounces that end up as pics or even pic-6's), certain players playing above themselves, and creative coaching early on in the season that surprised teams then (and not so much now). In my opinion the Bills are still at least 2 good drafts away from any kind of serious playoff run unless they have an ungodly run of good luck (lots more good bounce INTs) and great health. -
I was at a Monday night game a few years ago against the Browns in the middle of a !@#$ing blizzard (I had seasons then) and every single thing about that night sucked. The game sucked, the weather !@#$ing sucked, driving there sucked, driving home sucked. It all sucked. There is no way I'm purchasing tickets in advance for any open air event in Buffalo NY, including Bills games, ever again. If I want to go to an outdoor event then I will wait and get tickets last minute. I will never go through that again to watch any game. Just my opinion.

Stevie no-shows Rochester signing last night
CodeMonkey replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probable causes: 1) Johnson really had some kind of car trouble. 2) Johnson just didn't feel like round-tripping to Rochester. (The most likely reason in my opinion). 3) Johnson doesn't get along well with Jackson. Who cares. They don't have to love each other, just play on the same team. Non issue. -
A thread devoted to who the officials for a game will be. Why not list the guys on the sidelines who hold the first down chains? It is painfully obvious that they have it in for the Bills and make it at least 11 yards for the Bills to get a first down!
-
Why all the drama? People either want to go or they do not. Doesn't make them any more or less a fan of the team. Also doesn't make the team any more or less likely to relocate. All it means is if the games do not sell out then the people who want to watch at home have to watch the low resolution internet feed on their TVs or computer screens rather than in HD. A restriction, by the way, that no other televised sport that I am aware of imposes (off topic I know but that is a hot button topic for me ).
-
Or maybe they want to try and pawn them all off while the team IS in first place fearing a slide. In any event it is a great deal people so get busy and buy those discounted tickets my I can watch the game in HD at home with my family!

Sounds like spoiled brat syndrome to me. All it takes is a call to say you can't make it due to a flat tire or whatever the problem is. But I can't say I blame either guy for not wanting to go though. Who signs these guys up to drive over an hour there and another back again to do a 2 hour appearance? Glad to hear Freddy was a man about it, and went above and beyond the call of duty for his fans. -
Century 8, Quatrain 69 The Antichrists very soon annihilate the Bills of Buffalo, Twenty-seven years the blood of this scourge will last. The Billivers are dead, captive, exiled, ashamed; With penalty flags, pass interference calls, and red challenge flags covering the earth.

Gailey is not stupid. There is some reason he does not give Spiller any touches. I don't know what that reason is, and Gailey sure isn't talking, but one certainly exists. I just hope they find a way to resolve it sooner rather than later. -
So cheers are lame and the game day experience is lame if there is no cursing? And you cannot be a passionate fan without cursing? I personally don't care about the cursing as my kids hear worse on the school bus every day, but I find your post silly ... err excuse me, !@#$ing silly
