  1. Yup, you can get them in Webster (Rochester area) at the Noco gas station while they last.
  2. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-granted-extension-to-avoid-Jets-game-blackout/0444c345-f65a-4957-9b4b-a0da8ff88fc4
  3. As per Buffalo news earlier today, about 3500 left and they got another 24 hour extension.
  4. There are a lot more than that up for resale though, so people will buy those first (cheaper). But they may be within reach of either TV or Russell.
  5. Wow you obviously have a lot higher opinion of SJ13 than I do. But that aside, Woods is out, SJ13 is probably out, but if not at least crippled.
  6. Not much to disagree with here. And I sure wouldn't mind seeing the entire team get better week to week! But it's still the improvement that I will be looking for, not W's. Not that there is anything wrong with W's!
  7. Wins/Losses are meaningless the rest of this season. I know many disagree and need instant gratification, but I just need to see marked improvement from Manuel week to week for the remainder of this season without exception. And lets face it, improving on last weeks performance should be real damn easy. If this does not happen, I am going to begin to think that the people that called the Manual draft a reach last summer may have had good reason to do so.
  8. It's Brandon so it is sales/marketing related. Given the current standings and remaining tickets left this season, my guess is that he is trying to build a "us against the world" mentality among Bills fans in an attempt to sell more tickets the remainder of this season and for seasons renewals next season. Otherwise he would not have waited until more than halfway through the season to do it.
  9. Joyner and Schefter (who is tied for last place overall ). Berman doesn't pick.
  10. Spread is Bills - 1.5 ... so half of the normal 3 point home field advantage. CBS "experts" have it a clean sweep for the Jets, with and without the spread. ESPN has it 7 - 2 Jets with 4 not having picked yet.
  11. Hmm. First off, any given Sunday. But Manuels favorite target is out. SJ13 is out or hobbling. Ryan versus Marrone. The Bills coming off a putrid performance in every aspect of the game. The Bills are effectively out of the playoffs while the Jets are very much in the hunt. "Not happening" indeed.
  12. Happens in Buffalo as well. And even this season the Bills ran special deal promotions leading up to the deadline, and had the deadline extended once, to get to a sell out. Speaking as someone who prefers the couch experience to the game day experience, I don't care how they get the sell out so long as they get one
  13. What's sad also is that the people who a couple of weeks ago were wondering who would get to 5 wins first, the Bills or the Sabres ... are still wondering.
  14. This is his 4th year and hasn't figured out what you expect a first round RB to figure out in their first season, namely how to run north instead of east/west. He will break the occasional long one which can give him a very good YPC, but his overall effectiveness is usually not very good. If he needs space to be effective, and it certainly seems like he does, I'd consider turning him into a slot receiver. Have SJ13 work with him the rest of this season and see if that works. He does not block well either, so using Spiller as a RB has not been successful overall. What have they got to lose at this point.
  15. I'm no QB expert, but i haven't seen anything on the field that makes me think the way you do. You take a look at Luck his rookie season and yeah, he had his rookie moments, but his mechanics (throwing motion as well as footwork) were sound from the beginning and you could see that after some experience he was probably going to be a good one. i don't see any of that in Manuel, at least so far. Way too early to call him a bust of course, but he sure seems to have an awfully long way to go.
  16. Right plays called? He is supposed to be a running back. They take handoffs as their primary way to get touches. Spiller can't/won't run straight ahead. He likes to bounce it outside instead. That worked for him in college, but this is the NFL. He has the capability to break the big plays. But more often than not he runs for little to no gain, or less. That's just what he is, not a workhorse north and south back like Fred or Lynch. Gailey had some success getting Spiller some space, but even he struggled to figure out ways to make that happen. And as far as I can tell, Gailey was a better OC than Hackett is, so far at least.
  17. I don't think I have ever seen fans turn on a HC so quickly. Generally they are given more than 10 games before being run out of town.
  18. There is always hope because there are a lot of Miami fans in the area. But then again, they are all smart enough to get their tickets for half face value or less on stubhub.
  19. If the sky is not falling, then it must be God taking a dump on Bills fans.
  20. Like it or not, Marrone et.al. have anointed Manuel as the QB of the future. The took him with their first draft pick. Even if the Bills managed to win yesterday with Lewis it was unlikely the Bills would make it into the post season with the players they have now. And even if that minor miracle did happen due to the soft remaining schedule, they would have gotten crushed in the first playoff game. The important thing now is to see if Manuel has what it takes to be a NFL QB. Not to appease fans who want to see a playoff game, not matter how pointless. The only way to know is to see him play in live games.
  21. Everything in the NFL including draft order and salary cap, is to make your statement true. Seemingly it can only be incompetence that would keep a team so bad for so long.
  22. Exactly the reason why no one would trade anything of value for him. He gets open but drops the big ones, he does not have the speed to be a game changing WR (but probably OK for a slot receiver), seems to have chronic groin and hamstring issues and can't stay on the field (or shouldn't be on the field). What would you think if the Bills traded a decent draft pick to another team for a SJ13 clone?
  23. I said the same thing when I watched the presser. Gailey had that same look as well. But Gailey WAS old to begin with.
  24. Maybe so. And I know that Marrone and the FO reached at least a little for Manuel at least in most peoples (outside of hardcore Bills fans maybe ) opinions so admitting that was a mistake would be very difficult. But to Marrones credit, he does not seem to shy away from admitting his shortcomings. This particular one would be a BIG one to admit however. All of the above presupposes that Manuel does not show steady improvement over the remainder of the season, which I am still hopeful that he does.
  25. Why would anyone stress over a game that they have no investment other than being a fan of the team? If I was Marrone, Hackett, Brandon, or any number of players who will more than likely be working in the fast food industry this time next year then yeah, I'd be stressed. But just a fan??
