    And it shouldn't ever happen in my opinion. He is the head coach, Whaley is the GM. We might not agree with the choice, but it's the one that at least for now has been made. Fans can yell and scream all they want. But for a HC to give a public breakdown of why he did not fire one of his reports is just plain crazy.

    i don't disagree with anything you said except the bolded. Every team that Crossman has worked for has had bad special teams, save for the first year at Detroit and Carolina. Marrone certainly hopes Crossman will somehow turn it around next season in Buffalo. But there is no way in hell he can have any quality information that can make him sure that he will.

    A) I doubt this is a decision the analytics guy would even be involved with. B) Even if he was, he certainly can't fire Crossman himself. Marrone still would have to do it.

    Kinda hope it's us. Would make for a good old fashioned TBD civil war. The whole Crossman thing just isn't cutting it. Plus just think of all the fun watching the Buffalo and Rochester animal rights people's heads explode!

    Now a wild card bye huh. Man those "what if" scenarios were crazy before near the end of the season. Imagine what they will be like now So like in American schools, if it is too hard to make the grade, lower the bar.

    Well I wasn't thinking of that continuity, but more of continuity of the coaching staff itself (except for the WR coach which was apparently unavoidable).

    So the way I read this, assuming the WR coach was fired due to personal differences with Marrone, no one on the coaching staff was held accountable for this past season. Marrone must see it as growing pains. Or maybe he values continuity more than accountability. In any event I hope he has made good decisions for our sake as well as his.

    You are right, most people that do stuff like that don't have the stones to do it to someone who would punch them in the face. They stick to harassing mainly women and children.

    How about starting the season a month earlier.

    Short timeframe as well not knowing if there was going to be a game or not. Pretty impressive in that short of a time and with the weather forecast what it is.

    Since she is a gold digger and he is an idiot for giving her a ring that cost more than 3/4 of a million dollars, the judge should have given the ring to a disinterested third party ... me!

    For me the jury is still out on both. I see nothing to give me a great deal of hope. But I also don't see anything that makes me long for them to be kicked to the curb either.

    Any more changes? How about any changes, period. Canning a WR coach not for performance, but philosophical reasons really isn't a change worth noting. And no, I do not expect any [more] changes in the coaching staff initiated by Marrone,

    When I was in college we once had temperatures where the high for the day was -20 ish. They declared a state of emergency and mandated no unnecessary travel. At some point it is not just dangerous, but just plain stupid not to postpone events, particularly outdoor ones.

    Yeah that's what I like most about this place. I don't follow the NFL except for the Bills, and I do not follow college football at all. So when it comes to the draft and free agency I rely on posters here for the majority of my information.

    I wonder at what point, if any, the NFL steps in due to player and/or fan safety. Sure makes a case against northern teams without domed stadiums. Then again, where is the SB after this being played?

    I can't even imagine what Brandon et al could do this off season to increase the season ticket holder base by more than 50%.

    Of course they did not try and gut out any wins. Had they done so, they would have not gotten P. Manning Jr. Given the choice of sucking for one season or for 14+, which would you take? Suck for Luck my friend.
