  1. Yes, and I'd take Cody most likely. However, their offer would have to be pretty juicy.
  2. Yes, I was thinking about that. Do you think it's happen in the first few picks or before the draft? If we traded him too early, teams would know we'd targeted Spiller and then use that against us. What a dance the nfl draft is.
  3. Well now we're just getting greedy haha. But yes, it would be even nicer.
  4. If we followed it up with Saffold in the 2nd, and then Linval Joseph in the third; then traded for Thigpen or Campbell (just by saying these two names someone will jump down my throat I'm sure), I'd be happy. We could draft a QB next year.
  5. At the 9 spot: I'll be happy with: Okung, T. Williams, Bulaga I'll be neutral, but give Nix the benefit of the doubt: Clausen, McClain, Dan Williams Unhappy with: Any DB, Dez Bryant, Derrick Morgan, Brandon Graham, Tim Tebow (I'd be neutral if he were taken in the 2nd) I think Nix wants Bulaga, but we'll see if he's there. P.S. I think Cody might help us more than Dan Williams
  6. +1 I LOVE the phone booth one. Find it hilarious.
  7. I should also add that I would be really upset if we took Derrick Morgan. He's not worth the #9 pick and we have bigger holes to fill.
  8. I would be FURIOUS. I don't want a WR until round 4.
  9. Am I the only one that thought Gruden was hard to watch? I liked Tebow as a prospect, but after watching that he's taken a bit of a hit in my book. His release is getting faster, but the Q&A part in the beginning was awful. Rushed sentences and he seemed defensive, you could see his answers had been coached. Granted, he's a football player, and has much success in college-I also can't blame him for being defensive during the draft process. I am not completely opposed to drafting him, but this interview bothered me. I know all prospects are coached up for the draft process, but Clausen actually seemed to just be himself in the Q&A, and carried on a dialogue with Gruden, thinking about the questions and responding. Tebow seemed like he knew what he was going to say before any questions were asked. I hope whichever QB we draft this year turns out to be our franchise player. I'll support whoever gets drafted, although I'll hope they keep their political views less public than their football. Also, I actually haven't watched all of Gruden's interview with McCoy, because Gruden was so unbearable I had to stop it. He is just terrible when he's being filmed. EDIT: someone did react like I did! Except I thought Clausen was fine given the circumstances: Tangent on Gruden being absolutely awful on film over
  10. Gruden was completely ridiculous in that "interview." It was like watching Gruden trying to present himself as a football 'guru' more than getting information from Clausen. However, I'm on the Clausen train so I could just be seeing only what I want to see. EDIT: Rewatched. Maybe he isn't "ridiculous," but Gruden still rubs me the wrong way.
  11. Is anyone else wondering why there was so much excitement in the title of this thread? Did it just become hilarious that Schobel hasn't made up his mind/hasn't told the brass his plans?
  12. I think we really like Saffold in the 2nd. Granted, I'm a big fan of his, so maybe it is wishful thinking on my part, however we do have the coaching connection to him: http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...51-73b910b78969
  13. I can't stand Pike, he needs to put on a ton of weight, he'll get killed in the nfl. Give me Clausen, McCoy, LeFevour, or Skelton please.
  14. Locker room tension between harris and tebow ahhhh
  15. What's the point of a forum? BTW I'd like to see them trade back and nab Mike Iupati and then Saffold. Our O line wouldn't be looking so shabby then. I like Saffold more than Williams, Davis, and I'm not sold on Bulaga. I would say Okung and Saffold are the two safest tackles in the draft, but then again, I'm just some guy.
  16. Give him a one year contract. This would be great depth, and as previously mentioned, take the pressure off a learning rookie.
  17. I just don't think that Bradford, Clausen, or Vick would work in Buffalo. I think we NEED to go OT then NT in rounds 1 & 2, and then get someone like the much discussed LeFevour in the third (for the record I am not in favor of drafting Pike). This draft should be all about the lines, and maybe a QB in the third and an ILB later on. Bring in someone like (in no particular order): Collins, Thigpen, Garcia, Pennington (although I doubt we actually do go after him), or dare I say McNabb?? etc. Have Brohm/Rookie QB learn from the veteran. Does bringing in one of the aforementioned veteran qb's mean I think that they will be probowlers? Of course not (well, perhaps McNabb could be). However I do think any of them would be a huge improvement over what we currently have.
  18. While I certainly think he would be an upgrade, I'd prefer bringing in a different QB from the dolphins. I would not be completely opposed to bringing Chad to Buffalo for a season.
