  1. I'm really worried we still won't be able to defend screens.
  2. I cant stand that no talent assclown.
  3. Roethlisberger only expected to miss 1-2 weeks (cleveland + bye week I believe). Crap. Shoulda pulled for the Raiders.
  4. I've been trying to avoid thinking that our D won't really improve until next year, when we plug in players who are a better fit. Although the loss of our safeties cannot be overemphasized, so maybe there is hope for when Aaron returns (provided we still control our own destiny).
  5. We need them to lose some games. Don't want to root for someone to miss playing time but...
  6. Exactly where I'm at. I want to keep Glenn, and draft a RT high. A center in the 3rd or 4th as well.
  7. I don't know if we'll keep Bradham. Been disappointed in him this year.
  8. Because our team has yet to inspire confidence among the fan base, given their inconsistent performances. That being said, I rarely - deep down - feel that we'll win a game. I love when I'm wrong.
  9. A bit of a worry for me as well. Although, not as much of a concern as our defense, sadly.
  10. I actually think Tyrod has shown the ability to nail those throws. I think we'll see that side of his game emerge in short order. Hate that defense will be our downfall, whenever that is.
  11. Not fitting with your avatar. I can't get away from my innate defensive pessimism about the Bills.
  12. I hate that the Jets won.
  13. I totally agree. Nice post. I wish those folks with the pitchforks out who complain about the cap would grasp the concepts presented here.
  14. Well I sure as hell hope they are not happy with the depth at safety. It's a glaring weakness. In my opinion, our three biggest needs in no particular order are safety, coverage linebacker, and OLine (tackle then guard depth).
  15. Well shucks, didn't think there were people (let alone "many people") who were itching to see some Dez Lewis on the field during a real game.
  16. +1 Gotta say I read it the same way.
  17. I worry that white pants, red top and white helmet will look insanely similar to these asshats.
  18. Regardless of who drafted him, the idea that missing on a QB is a fireable offense for a GM who has shown skill in recognizing talent and roster building is flawed. The success rate of QB drafting is appalling. You take your chances and thank the stars if they pan out. Tyrod was a big pickup and I'm incredibly thankful he's on this team. He can lead a team to the playoffs imo, and should allow us to be successful until (a) we draft our franchise QB or (b) he develops into one. Both are low probability, that's why there are so few franchise guys in the league. The issue with this team is coaching, or adjusting to said coaching. Injuries aren't helping either.
  19. I think it could definitely happen. I would expect Pegula will want his own guy. I just hope it doesn't.
  20. Ha! I was hoping you'd show up! It's always your posts that leave me shaking my head, and they're across so many dang threads. Waging quite the campaign. It goes without saying that I completely disagree, and I think Whaley's roster building has been one of the brighter spots in this franchise. (I don't think the cap will be an issue with restructuring and contracts that will come off the books, and I think firing a GM over EJ not panning out would be foolish.) But hey, I'm just some guy on the internet Poor coaching with some injuries. Our roster is stacked with talent.
  21. I get the impression that he will be a casualty. I think we'll be drafting at least two backers as well (one of them high - an athletic coverage LB).
