  1. Okay that's good, but Lynch still has potential. I think I'd go like this Earth = Lynch - he tends to make more contact and puts guys on the Earth Wind = Jackson - He has that smoke in a keyhole aspect, the D thinks they have him and the he's past Fire = Spiller - As in you just got burned
  2. Sorry, I meant updating the roster, I've got a copy of Madden 10 I'm fooling around with and my options are Edwards, Brohm and Fitz.
  3. Know this really isn't "on topic" but how did you update the roster on Madden. Stopped playing years ago and picked it back up after I got a PS3 for the blue rays.
  4. I wouldn't say he's planning on it, he's saying it's a tool to get what his agent and himself consider a fair offer from the Bills. But seeing as how most first round picks, especially top ten almost go to the wire before training camp I'm not looking at this as anything but a reporter asking a question and it being taken out of context/reporter using part of a quote to make it seem like something. I mean as far as we know there hasn't even been an offer made.
  5. You're off on a couple, Koscheck was from PA, Hamill is from OH. But you forgot one key one in the world of MMA- Rashad Evans from Niagara Falls(granted he lives in Michigan now).
  6. And how did that work out, and I mean that more in an honest comparison way, not a sarcasm way. From what I read Gailey was replaced in 2009 after 3 ineffective offensive preseason games.
  7. Why is the likelihood of Brohm being named starter low? He's shown just as much as Trent or Fitzpatrick. The only QB the current coach has anything invested in is Brown since they just drafted him. Anytime Gailey talks about the QB spot he stresses the open competition. It's just as likely for Brohm to be named starter, as it is Edwards or Fitzpatrick. All 3 have strong points and weak points. A lot depends on how well Edwards and Fitzpatrick have corrected their deficiencies from last year, and if Brohm shows anything.
  8. Hardy was drafted the same year (2008) as Johnson, McKelvin, Corner and Ellis. So if those 4 can be there he should be able to as well.
  9. I think you're selling 2 of the 4 short in Bryson and Morris, both had decent careers. Bryson was actually a pretty good RB, just had bad knees. Left and did alright as third down back in Detroit around various knee injuries.. As for Morris, ask New England how they feel about him, he's been a consistent part of their rotation since leaving the Bills and then spending 3 years with Miami. Morris was actually pretty decent here as well, just had some injury problems. For a 5th round pick he's had a nice career.
  10. While he may not of actually called it, he did limit what he allowed Schonert (first) and AVP (second) to do in it. Such as Jauron's rule that no motion would be used in his offense. And if there was one, I'm wiling to bet they're more.
  11. Teams are already calling players I'm betting, getting the inside track. Showing interest and giving them the hard sell
  12. "Minnesota found out that Batten wasn't just teeing off against lesser competition, as the Gophers almost lost to SDSU thanks to his 12 tackles, 1.5 for loss and sack"
  13. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players...TrackerTable192 "Minnesota found out that Batten wasn't just teeing off against lesser competition, as the Gophers almost lost to SDSU thanks to his 12 tackles, 1.5 for loss and sack" Very Interesting
  14. Just wanted to cover this, Leon Washington is traded to Seattle by the Jets. Glad the Jets decided to weaken their team by getting rid of him.
  15. Couldn't disagree more. I'll be the first to point out that Jackson is 30, but he also doesn't have the typical wear and tear an NFL back does. Not to mention that he does EVERYTHING better than Lynch, including being a part of this team, and plays in more situations, such as special teams means it's more likely the Bills keep him to mentor Spiller and be a 3rd down RB. Not to mention, other teams see Lynch as younger and with more upside still with a manageable contract with 3 years left. That's why I agree with Nix, if the Bills don't get their price they'll hold onto all 3 and have a backfield of Lynch, Jackson and Spiller. I see many a 2 back formation with RB in motion this year.
  16. It's only because Lynch needs a designated Driver
  17. Take him out and show him the party out front so he understands the passion of his new fan base
  18. No offense, but he spent a year and a half, more than likely in Protective Custody just like Plaxico is now. And from someone that works in prison, PC is a joke. Think of it this way, house arrest with less amenities.
  19. It wasn't love for the game that brought Vick back, it was for the love of the dollar. And he didn't EARN anything, Goodell gave him a pass despite Goodell's supposed tough stance on trouble makers. Now he gets to make more money in a year than you or I will make in 10. Yeah, that's so tough, my heart bleeds for him. (please note the sarcasm here) Quite frankly, I think he should of never been reinstated. Vick was given a free ride, a college education, let him get out here in the REAL WORLD and have to earn his living like the rest of us, not put him back in a postion where he can repeat those mistakes.
  20. Fewell should of complained, they should of put about 10 seconds back on the clock
  21. Explain to me how totally skipping over the facts of Buffalo playing practice squad and street free agents and having to constantly reshuffle the O-line due to injury makes him sound like a homer, it makes him sound like an informed sportscaster, not the Phins homer he sounds like.
  22. And he skips over part of the reason the Phins look good. I'd look good playing against the Bills O-line. you're missing the point. Tasker isn't talking about the how Buffalo's O-line has been hurt by injuries, just how great the Phin D is. That's not a good announcer, that's Tasker being a Phin Homer What I want him to do is acknowledge the fact that Buffalo is playing street free agents on an O-line thats been reshuffled multiple times this year
  23. I do, he should be balanced, not playing to the Phins
  24. You do realize that intentional grounding is a penalty, right? Still means a loss of yardage.
  25. I just have to say this-- I really hate Steve Tasker the announcer. Can he be more Pro-Phin/anti-Bills? Talking about how great the front 7 of the Phins are without talking about how the Bills are playing practice squad guys because of injury
