  1. ok. He's not responsible for millions of deaths? Who then?
  2. Tell that to the victims of the Spanish Inquisition. Or of 9/11. We have plenty of jesus's walking around today, homeless bipolar people who did not have the luck to have a bunch of sheep following them that would immortalize their craziness. And several David Koresh's who do.... Anyway, Ray Lewis himself is more like Jesus than McNair he at least has one body on his count...
  3. Fair enough, let's see what happens. With these coaches everything is a crap shoot. We may even have Mr. Worth Millions back starting at FS - as far as I can tell he has played a lot more FS in his life than Byrd.
  4. I loved Avenue for years there at the corner of main and parker/across the street from Fillmore. Went back in there after a 10 year absence a couple of years ago - now it is like a bank with the workers behind serious chain link and bulletproof glass. Scary changes, in that part of Buffalo. Still had a decent sub though
  5. Losman vs. Vick = entertaining football.
  6. He was doing what his agent told him to do. Maybe his smartest trait is realizing his own intellectual limitations and listening to the person he has hired to watch his back contract wise. Certainly, when you evaluate the eventual outcomes, looks like Peters did very well.... and Brandon did very very badly for the Bills. Peters and his agent never whined once to the media, that was Brandon if you will remember. I have no problem at all with the way Peters conducted himself he was the smartest guy in the room (or repped by the smartest guy) even if you include all the Bills brain trust.
  7. And I wish she would whack you you are a self-righteous idiot. But no worries, I see no child whores in your future. Maybe some ugly gap tooth crack whores who will rip you off. But hot "child whores"...uhh, nope, not for Skooby.
  8. Bet you wish you had a child whore too... Probably even let her whack you for a few months of bliss beforehand.
  9. I wonder why? As far as I know McNair is not responsible for million s of awful deaths and lots of wars throughout history. Jesus and Mohammed and all these religious guys except the Buddha = bipolar violent crazies. McNair = good football player. No relation.
  10. There is still Johnnies butcher shop on Hertel; real old style butchery. Fabulous perpperoni sticks. At least is was still there a couple years ago.
  11. Dick has some kind of weather to contend with. Please don't overlook that.
  12. I agree, Kyle seems to do fine. Not perfect, but a real nfl calibre starter.
  13. Maybin is one side. We still have Denney and (ugh!) Kelsay, or an aging Shobel, on the other side. I like Donte, he is very sevficeable, just not overwhelmingly great or memorable. Better than Kelsay though, by and Eden mile. So yes, I would say to draft this guy Brown (who many pundits had us taking in the FIRST round) would have been a great move. The Byrd pick really took me back to the Donahue days of off the cuff, thoughtless drafting (a la McGahee). I think the next logical move would be for the FO to extend and enhance Kelsays contract again. THis would be true to form.
  14. How come no one misses all the hot chicks?? Buffalo is really all about the food I guess. I miss Checkers bar, open and rocking, at 3:30am on a tuesday... Canada being so close I always was partial to Bob and Johns La Hacienda pizza although the grease just was a flood on top. And subs from Avenue were terrific.
  15. 3 for 3 (1 per season that is) You are correct.
  16. I have a strong feeling that our need was not what we drafted. No matter. I also note that a first round pick was traded, to move up to get Brown in the second round. Whcih means I am not alone in my thinking this guy is a good prospect. We got a guy who does not play the position for which we drafted him. Could he be the next Ronnie Lott? Of course. Could Brown be a total bust? Ditto. Does not remove the fact that we needed Brown more than Byrd, or, we could have stocked an additional #1 for 2010. Terrible move from a terrible, overmatched staff. If it works out for the best noone will be happier than me, though.
  17. Ya think???? But no-one will, no matter.
  18. D Bell is STILL a project I don't know why everyone is convinced he will be the answer. I have very high hopes and best wishes for him, but he has not yet stepped on the field during live action. And again, his progress IS being hampered by terrible coaching and a bad scheme. So he is trying to become a starter from a 7th round project, essentially by himself. We can hope but we should not be counting on D Bell working his way into the starting lineup and being effective, this year. We should be counting on Mr. Walker manning that spot, for which is is not ideally built, all year long. Then, asking for an LT contract!
  19. Yeah, this one is tough to call. Both douchebags I think. The bank robbery kind of invalidates this guys claim to innocence. Still Brady must have way too much time on his hands, no?
  20. I dont remember that you have a link to the footage. But I beleive you. Ok, 2 memorable moments over 3 years of starting, one a penalty. My bad
  21. Everette Brown was available. We took Byrd. 'Nuff said. Fire Brandon, DJ, and John Guy. Start over. Either way we are 2-3 years out from contention, at least with a new staff in there, maybe we can actually do it in 2-3 years. Now, we are in a holding pattern until DJ finally is axed or has the class to resign. Which he really should have done after the Jets debacle last year, if not at the end of the campaign. Sorry for the bad news guys.
  22. To me his only memorable moment really over the several years now as a starter, was when he took a penalty by delivering the late hit well into the end zone. I liked the play, actually, but it is the only time I remember seeing Donte really ever do anything noticable. But, in fairness to Donte, he has had awful coaches and a terrible scheme, his entire career too.
  23. No hes not, he is a corner that they hope, repeat hope, can transition to safety in the pros. Everette Brown was and is a pass-'rusher. But, we need dbs, right, high up in every draft. Or it would just not be the Billls and DJ. Incredible. DJ if you look at him, looks mentally challenged, doesn't he? Then he opens his mouth....
  24. I don't really see why everyone is so ging ho re Donte. He is ok, not great, and he makes almost no plays that change the game. Solid SS, nothing more, nothing less. He can certainly lose his starting job IMO, it is not at all outside the realm of possibility. The FO will keep him in as long as possible to justify the high pick they used on him, of course. And DJ is their B word so he wiull likely retain hins job. But it is not due to spectacular play at all.
  25. Russ is not a solid business guy. No harvard or wharton MBA, Russ. How he handled Peters and got absolutely used and discarded a la a used tampax, both by the Eagles and by Peters agent, should show you that. He is the other side of the moronic inferno (opposite his butt buddy DJ) that is the Bills brain trust. Trust in him to be idiotic. Sorry, reality check.
