I can tell you that the real cost of those jerseys to make (in China I am sure), even with a little quality control, is less than 5 bucks. $15 my ass, not in mass quantity. The NFL is making bouqoup bucks off them. It is like when you went to see a Who concert you could buy the knockoff shirt in the Rich parking lot for $5 bucks, cost you $50 bucks inside and the cops constantly charged with arresting the sellers of the fake ones.

I am a JP fan just because he was such a solid citizen and a gentleman throughout. He didn't whine last year when he was made second stringer, he always showed up for the community, etc. I want him to succeed, all expectations aside.

Since he got the full first year off, last year he was a rookie. Some rookies excel then have a sophomore slump, others start ok and get better year 2. I expect (hope) POZ to be the second variety and right now to start a series of 6-8 years of really solid to great play. Hopefully since he is good we won't let him leave after his first contract a la Clements, Wionfield, etc. We should try to keep him like he as average as Chris Kelsay, even if he IS good!

Because of this extra week up front, by the last week when other teams are still preppeing hard, DJ will be giving them time off for good behavior. "They deserve this reward, they have worked hard, and worked as a team. These guys really like each other", etc. I promise that last week we will practice much less than any other team. Then they will be flat for the opener. You can bet BB will have HIS guys ready, whether they like playing together or not. Maybe they will fire DJ if we go 0-4 in pre-season???

Because Parker is better and smarter than Russ, but less sweet, maybe. Rosenhaus is also better and smarter, but, he talks to Russ like he really, really likes him. So Russ goes easier to the slaughter for Drew. Both have used and abused the bills FO, they should not be demonized because our guy is weak. They should be demonized for plenty of other reasons though, I'm sure. If you think Drew does not use what he did to the Bills for McGahee, and Parker does not use what he did to the bills for Peters, in their recruitment talks to every potential draftee client, you are dead wrong. From what I understand the story has been verified as false. But you are correct in that he should not be at strip clubs from an image perspective.

The real situation is sadly like the oil in Alaska or the water in CDolorado. Eventually, when needed, there will be a breakdown in sensible controls and the great lakes water will be exploited, by federal decree if that what it takes, by large dry cities in this nation. Look at what China is doing to the poor Mekong river. We don't even need that oil really but they are making a big mess. Same coming soon as the mississipi declines and all the cities need that water; it will come from the great lakes, then the finger lakes, etc. Mans inhospitality to earth will not allow those lakes to stand for more than 50-100 more years, no matter what laws are in place now. It's cold up there. And you are not required to stay, it is not soviet era siberia. I had a buddy from South Carolina there a few yeare ago in the winter and he was astonished anyone would stay, why would they? I do understand why people stay in those cities, but he had a point too. And that is the point that is being taken by more and more Buffalonians, Rocherterians, Clevenders, et al. It will get worse, before it gets better, the population declines. Hopefully the cities will adjust appropriately to being smaller. I guess they will have too.

I give Vick the benefit of the doubt on the strip club which would have been unwise (although not illegal). For the rest of his crimes, awful as they were, he has paid the price and Goodell, who is the only commissioner and thus the lone decider, has given him the league penalty. Let's get Mcintyre out of the league though, the dirty flashing prick!!!
