  1. I will gloat a little when Peters lets through the sack that gives McNabb a Thiesmann leg and he is truly reviled by Eagles fans. Tough to gloat over the failure of a guy who gets paid so much more than I do, though. He may gloat right back!
  2. Its the preseason. I am not calling Peters a bust for the Eagles quite yet. Somehting tells me pro bowl #3 is coming for him despite all the naysayers. Time will tell, but I think the guy is still a pretty good player
  3. The last game likely no starters play at all so 2 more really. Maybe they can make up for it with some more walk through practices
  4. I would agree wioth this but for two words: Chris Kelsay
  5. I think the NFL has to defend its own policies by being reasonable. One of these days they will make a suspenjsion too over the top and a player will sue for re-instatement at which point they may have to codify and normalize their punishment system. A year, Stallworth is a man, he will take it like a man and sit. More, maybe he sues, and the whole goodell as god scenario would be up for real review.
  6. Shefter says it is Buffalo or Dallas, for what it is worth, on espn.com
  7. How was it off the record if JW just told us?
  8. Surprising how Ashlee Palmer who was undrafted, had already worked his way above Bowen in the first place.
  9. No, just a player that would be starting for sure for a playoff team of last year, say Pitt or Tennessee. Not probowl or anything, a solid starter is all.
  10. This question was posed on another thread by gfland1 Interesting quesiotn I can think of 4 sure fire and one maybe: TO Evans Mcgee Stroud Wood if he is as good as he seems Anyone else?
  11. TO. Evans. Wood TBD. McGee. Stroud. 4 going on 5 would be starting for most teams in the league. Anyone else? Good question maybe deserves its own thread.
  12. Sounds about right. House arrest and no play for the year. He should have adequate savings even considering however much he paid the family.
  13. Yes I am pessimistic about the drafting abilities of the Bills. This pick did not help if the guy was healthy. Then to find out that he had a sports hernia that the FO either knew about or should have known about.... wow it is stunning and despicable the way they slap us fans around. I feel we will get a much bigger contribution this year from Nic Harris and Shawn Nelson than from Maybin and Byrd who we drafted in the first couple of rounds. Especially Harris. And Lankster may well even be a better overall db than Byrd; he is faster we know that about him, and he came to us undamaged. Wood is the blue chipper of this draft though!! Looks to be the real deal.
  14. He is barely adequate against the run. Not "good" at all
  15. he had surgery. Just the healing of the cut to the skin, takes more than 2 weeks. Mid to end September he will start practising with the team, if then. And he won't be anywhere near in shape for football; light swimming and step-ups dont give you that. PUP to open season, zero contribution this year. JMO
  16. So he said what he thinks and you weree looking for a canned DJ kind of reply. "Julia, how was it working with Clive Owen and Steven Speilberg" "Clive is the best, most fantastic actor and we really connected, and Steven got the best performance out of both of us" That what you want?
  17. Or maybe he could start if we have really lame incumbent DEs like Kelsay and Denney and Chris Ellis. Oops, we do. I think he starts if he has 2 or more weeks to practice, no matter what. The alternatives are just so awful...
  18. Yeah what was that all about??? What a miserrable guy. Where is Skooby he is done?
  19. Point taken you are right had not thought about it that way.
  20. This was sarcasm only sorry that did not come through although seems you are sensitive about the issue...
  21. He is way out, for a long time. http://www.sportshernia.com/sports-hernia-...-nine-weeks.php
  22. I am pretty sure Crabtree is going up against the wrong coach in that sense. Singletary seems like the kind of guy who is going to punish him for what he is doing. And, would not surprise me if Singletary is telling his own gm to LOWER the offer as the kid becomes less useful to him and he becomes more pissed off. DJ on the other hand, I think Maybin won't face the same issue.
  23. He must have been hammered off his ass!
  24. http://deadspin.com/5193856/brave-woman-gi...-phone-incident Here you go, eyewitness account. I had it a little wrong it was a picture of his dick he was flaunting.
  25. Reynolds too. Salisbury definately got the axe for pulling out his rooster in front of staffers. Reynolds all the poor guy did was goive a hug to a female staffer that was deemed "inappropriate" Ill try to find a link for the salisbury firing. The litigeous society in America has taken the sens of humor out of a lot of things that are really not so bad.
