  1. I agree. But I think they take the OT from Indiana, Safford or Cody (NT) or Cam Thomas (NT). If Safford is there I think he is the pick, if not, they will take Cody or Thomas.
  2. That would be a solid draft. Plus, we might trade Lynch in that scenario for another 2nd round pick.
  3. Thanks for the update! I really like the thinking behind those picks! I think that is a fantastic 1st round strategy.
  4. Not in the Second. We NEED a real NT for our 3-4. No good NT's will remain after the 2nd round, while a few solid QB's might be there. (and the QB class is solid next year, anyone know how the NT class next year is?)
  5. Campbell is perfect for the type of QB Gailey uses. And for a low pick, its really a no brainer. Low picks generally either wash out or become average, and we might be able to convert that pick itno a player who is currently average or slightly above but improving every season.
  6. I like the thinking, although i'd rather take Spiller at #9 than Bryant, and grab Shipley or Williams from SU later in the draft.
  7. Don't worry, someone will soon tell you to calm down because either: (a) the Bills know what they are doing, despite the results of the past 10 years, or (b) Marshall isn't that good anyway, despite what he has done the past few years.
  8. I like Tebow, but i'd take a 1st round pick for him
  9. I live in Pittsburgh. This is a terrible move for the Steelers, and an even worse one for Buffalo in that they could have had a quality WR across from evans for a 5th or 4th rounder.
  10. Not a bad idea, but I'd take Spiller over Dez. WR's seem to take longer to develop.
  11. Why not bring him in? At one point he was fantastic. Let's see if he has anything left. If not, cut him. The people who are proposing to bring him in are not saying he is 100% the answer, or that he should be the starter. But bring him into camp and see what, if anything, he's got.
  12. I agree. It wouldn't be that bad, particularly if (1)top OT's and QB's are gone, and (2) it looks like we can get Thomas or Cody in the second.
  13. These two signings look like the type the Steelers generally make. Use FA to pick up very solid players who can be had for less than top dollar.
  14. This draft is just weak QB wise. You can generally get a franchise QB at our spot or later. Big Ben was a #13 pick.
  15. Not a bad idea to grab him in the 2nd round and offer to trade him to JAX if the price is right. This of course assumes your comfortable if you get stuck with him, which I would be in the 2nd round, particularly given what Gailey has done with other similar QB's.
  16. I like that draft. Would instantly imporve the D, great value picks in the later rounds (if those players are available, which I think is a big "if" for many of them) and helps out the O line.
  17. I like him. If he played for a better team and didn't get injured he'd prob be a top 2-3 round draft pick. He's definetly worth a look in rounds 4-5. In 2008 he totally dominated Norte Dame and won the game for SU.
  18. Do you fly to Buffalo for all the games? That's awesome. Even if you only hit one game, from CA that's impressive. Good job man! And yeah, i'm renewing.
  19. Wow good point. Russia in the quarterfinals is bad news, but I like Canada over Russia.
  20. I agree Miller was the difference. Canada looked much quicker and had crisper passing, but the D of the USA and out of this world play of Miller made the difference. Would love to see a rematch for the gold.
