  1. Bank's also said that Ingram may be taken ahead of Couples due to Couples "issues" with motovation. I don't trust Couples. I'd take Ingram. The guy clearly LOVES playing football. Couples seems like he is in it strictly for the money (i.e. Jamarcus Russel, etc.) If we draft Couples, I excpet that we will be very sorry. Good links guys. Thanks!
  2. I'd take him as well for the right price. Need backups.
  3. True, but no one was holding a gun to their head making them play. Whether they knew the risks associated with football is another matter. Common sense tells me they must have, but then again, there was no football history to compare themselves to. That said, Joe D would make a good addition to the Bills scouting department. Move out of NYS (less taxes on gas in Pa for example), and open the XL pipeline from Canada!
  4. I'm not seeing it online. Could you provide a link. Thanks!
  5. That would be acceptable. But a VERY GOOD plan B like you described would have to be in place. We need either Steve and or Jackson, AND someoen like garcon, manningham (my preference) or meacham.
  6. I would like that draft. Thanks for all the info following the players also!
  7. Here's my stab at it: Round 1: Melvin Ingram-DE Round 2: Vinny Curry-DE Round 3: Josh Chapman--NT Round 4: Jayron Hosley--CB (if gone, Bryan Quick--WR) or Coryell Judie--CB) Round 4: Donte Paige Moss--DE/or one of the above CB's, or Bruce Irving DE/OLB Round 5: Tommy Streeter--WR Round 5: Stephen Hill--WR
  8. This is good news. We need to resign him prior to FA. Otherwise San Fran will come in, and then we will have to overpay to keep him. Yes, please do!~
  9. Point well made. We will have to pay him more than San Fran to keep him. If San Fran was not in the WR game I'd have a great feeling about him, but its a two way street. How much of a bidding war with San Fran do we get into, esp. if we can get Vincent Jackson and possibly another WR for similar money.
  10. I think your right about Hairston ending up as a good LT. Showed some promise when Bell went down. I'd go Bell, Hairston, draft another LT with one of our 4th rounders.
  11. i agree. But people need to understand this is not a WR or trench problem. The Bills are 20-30 mill BELOW THE CAP. There is NO REASON they can't sign Steve and fix the problems you mentioned. The only problem is the inability of this team to spend the money.
  12. I agree. He's a good player who prays during games. There are lots of similar players. ESPN is trying to manufacture a story/debate to drive up ratings. He also has a good defense, and a great kicker. If Tebow were on the Bills there would be no Tebow stories becuase our defense is so bad. He's a good player who fits in very well with the team he is on, and can inspire those around them to elevate their game. Too bad there is not another all sports channel besides ESPN because once they "make" a story bigger than it is, they don't let it go.
  13. Yeah. You want to watch any more of this garbage. He threw a bunch of terrible passes today, the game before, and before. He won't be here next year so why not cut him now? What's the point of keeping him. Unless you think we should pay all that money to him for a backup, or are still under the delusion that he is starting material. He's a pretty expensive backup QB. I'd rather sign Dixon from the Steelers (who is a FA I think) and draft a QB. A rookie QB can play better than Fitz. (Dalton, Newton, Ponder, etc.) And next years class is even better .
  14. Voted "other." I have a habit that I have developed the last 12 depressing Bills years. Around this time of year I start turning my sports obsession towards SU Basketball (should be #1 tomorrow and big game at NC State Sat) and the Penguins. Both are a great contrast to how the Bills are run, and a nice way to spend the Winter before a summer-fall of the Pirates and then Bills.
  15. Jamarcus Russell. Both sign huge contracts and then stink it up. Not sure if Fitz is slacking, or his lack of arm strength is catching up w/ him as the season goes on. Either way, he is not an NFL starter. We need to draft a QB with our 1st round pick. One of the big 3 should be available.
  16. And which guy that they got rid of do you suggest would have put together a winning team exactly???
  17. Fitz will not be on this team next year if the FO is at all capable and able to admit its mistake in resigning him. They need to finally draft a franchise QB when there are a few available in the draft. Cutting Fitz now will let the Bills avoid most of his contract, and they can pick up some practice squad QB to get practice for a backup for the new guy next year.
  18. Where the heck was Brad Smith today. Was he injured? 0 catches??!??! What a wasted FA acquisition.
  19. you are 100% correct. A well-managed team would get a FA WR who is a proven commodity and draft a pass rusher. Instead, we will have to spend the pick on Blackmon, although w/ the Bills it will most likely be some CB or something. I'll take a good Diva. Mike Irving was a Diva, I'd take him any day. That would be ideal. Top pass rusher, then top WR.
  20. Right on man. I LOVE everything this team does. I LOVE 12 years with no playoffs, 2/3rds of a team with players that would not start on another team, and having the worst defense in the league, and ownership that does not care. You're right, wtf are people around here complaining about!
  21. Unfortuniatly you are correct. Spend the money, they have a ton of it under the Cap.
  22. Sounds like what some people around here said about Von Miller.
  23. Why not see what CJ and White can do? Who will get the carries: White or Choice? I haven't seen many games live, but has White looked bad?
