  1. I tend to agree with you, in that, if excessive cannabis use was directly linked to psychosis/schizophrenia there would be some solid longitudinal research to support that. I’m 43 years old, and have been enjoying “high potency” cannabis regularly since I was 15 years old. Back in the day I smoked just about every single day. Now I probably enjoy cannabis flower or edibles 2 or 3 days per week. The connection between cocaine use and cocaine induced psychosis/schizophrenia is well documented and widely supported by the medical community. You’d think the same would be true of cannabis induced schizophrenia if it were actually a thing.
  2. I Just Killed My Dad on Netflix is a really interesting true-crime documentary. Highly recommend.
  3. I mowed the lawn stoned as ***** yesterday. On my new lawn tractor. I even took it down the street to mow sweet ol’ Ms. Joan’s lawn…experiencing transient psychosis the whole time…and loving it.
  4. Again, the incomplete/questionable science. You are fine to state your opinion on the matter, as I think there are legitimate questions to be asked here. But you can’t prop up your opinion with questionable science and say there is fire along with the smoke. This is a review of several longitudinal studies that are all flawed in some way. Essentially leading the author to state “There is enough questionable evidence derived through questionable studies to put a message out to the public about something that hasn’t been proven.” I’m paraphrasing what is actually states in the article.
  5. The study he’s referencing is actually from a very reputable medical journal. I would have to read the whole study. I’d be surprised if they had actual longitudinal evidence connecting daily use of “high potency” marijuana to psychosis. I’m wondering what they considered in the study to “psychosis.” The term is so broad. Also, genetic and environmental factors that would cause someone to develop a dissociative disorder may also cause one to be more apt to use marijuana and other drugs to excess.
  6. Don’t confuse correlation with causation. I’m not certain, but I think you’re smarter than that, Biff.
  7. What the hell does this have to do with anything? It’s also completely legal in Mass, NJ and Maine. Show me something to support your claim about legal cannabis being so problematic. Other than you being a tight wad about it. Statistics? Research? Anything 😉
  8. It’s completely legal here, and I haven’t heard of one single problem. Perhaps you’re biased against cannabis users?
  9. People under the influence of THC are an annoyance for lock babysitters. Got it. I think you need to smoke a bowl before work and maybe you’d have a little more patience. Just don’t run over your foot with the lawnmower! 😘
  10. Tree fitty. Hey, I remember 50 cent wing specials in the early 2000s. I remember in college getting a dozen delivered to my dorm for Monday Night Football for ~$7.
  11. Sissy slap fight in this thread! I’ve been to Little Havana. Scary place. Also, weed is everywhere in Miami. Why would someone kill another person over weed?! Horrible either way, but puzzling to me.
  12. Just binged the entire season late last week. I couldn’t turn it off. The finale was absolutely incredible. Very interesting concept, and quite dark at times. The best show I’ve watched in a while for sure.
  13. Or…stadium security can just adopt a zero tolerance police for fans throwing anything into the tunnel or onto the playing field? At every game I’ve gone to recently I always bring my son over to the tunnel before the game to see the players and coaches coming in and out during warm-ups (at the Falcons game last year he got high fives from several players, Daboll and Brandon Beane). We didn’t ask for autographs. Never once have I seen anyone throw anything down with the hope of having it autographed. Stadium security will definitely “snuff out” this stuff in a hurry.
  14. Called and cancelled the auto-renew of Sunday Ticket bc my wife is a college student and we were qualified to get the streaming version. Couldn’t find a working discount code (TEAMHUDDLE didn’t work), so we just paid the $119.00. When I called to cancel the normal ST I asked if they could offer me any discounts or credits, and the girl gave me $50/month off for 12 months. I then downloaded the ST app on the Firestick and successfully signed in, but there was no “content” to see yet on the app. Was a bit concerned, but thought that it would be working properly come week 1. Anyone else who has the student version having the same experience with the app?
  15. Gilliam was an integral run blocker especially down the stretch last season when the offense had to adapt. Anyone scoffing at this contract extension is clueless.
  16. The pride of my collection is an authentic Mitchell & Ness 1994 Jim Kelly jersey in blue. It was given to me by my grandfather a few months before he passed in 2006. I rarely wear it. Very special to me. My “game day” jersey is a really nice knock-off Josh Allen Wyoming jersey in brown. Got it for Christmas 2 years ago from my wife. Love it. I also have a few older jerseys that I keep in the closet. Bryce Paup, Takeo Spikes, and CJ Spiller.
  17. Welp, no luck 😂. I guess it’s the price you pay when your team is really good. Going to have a great time in Rochester tonight anyway. Cheers, everyone 🍻
  18. Hey All. I’ll be traveling solo to Rah-cha this weekend and was wondering if anyone had a spare ticket for training camp this Saturday 7/30. I’ve been kind of down on my luck lately, and I could use something to brighten my spirits. I’d be willing to pay you for the ticket and/or buy you a beer or whatever. Just thought I’d take a shot. Go Bills 🍻
  19. I usually aim to arrive 10-15 minutes after the party is scheduled to begin. Just my preference. I don’t like being one of the first to arrive, but I also don’t want to be rude. If I get invited to a party and know that I’m going to be 1 hour or more late I will let the host know.
  20. Not sure about the exact nature of his rib injury, but when I fractured 3 ribs a couple years ago it took me about 3 weeks before I was back to doing things normally. Granted, my normal activities consist of mowing the lawn, playing with my kids, sleeping comfortably, etc… It likely will take longer to be ready for full contact NFL football. Rib injuries suck! Very little you can do for them.
