I don't think it's something that I can state. Being the word Smith that I am I will try. But the pocket poise, the vision, the overall effective game manager situational quarterback play where he has to throw the ball instead of run the ball. The moments where we see a quarterback just take the short stuff, play the conservative game and walk it down field with their arm. He's an elite football player, there is no doubt. But there's just something about it in the eye test that needs to happen for him to be among the best when talking about quarterbacks in this era.

I'm the first half they were sleep walking on defense. We do a football pool at work and I said I want to pick Cincinnati. They're highly capable of winning. They are more capable of winning this game than Baltimore. Baltimore doesn't take the win (except for us) as much as they outscore their opponents. Cincinnati has the technique, the skill, the quality beneath all of their shortcomings this year with a highly capable Burrough. Ultimately when it came down to it they were surprised I picked Baltimore at work. I chose Baltimore because Baltimore wins football games. Cincinnati does not. Baltimore was going to pull this win out no matter what. They just play too much rope a dope and let themselves be caught sleeping. It is forging them tighter and more grit to get these right games. Pittsburgh beats them next week in a complete game. Every year Jackson gets better at quarterback. Every year he gets more mileage. Deep down I hope in 3 years he's become a much more capable quarterback and less a runner. It will be for the detriment of his game and our viewing but it will complete him to a great career to finish as a shifty QB in the pocket who is throwing thousands of yards a year.

Coach Tim - His Impact and Legacy
boyst replied to JDHillFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I wonder what kind of coach he was. I've seen the clips of him and Madden. Talking about AOC running a mean pick 6 play and sounding off about football not knowing a damn thing. -
1) he was duped by Paul Ryan. Ryan is a pos 4) only a ###### would believe the president is involved with roe v Wade. It is not a constitutionally protected activity. It is a States issue. Trump is also the only candidate for the GOP or Democrats to support abortion rights during his entire political life. 5 better governance by most of the Trump supporters would be banning many unnecessary positions and removing the government. No more sec of labor, education, etc. It's damn near libertarian and something that Dems would want 20 yrs ago. 6. Vance/Gabbard vs Newsom/Stein

So, a thought exercise. If the economy tanks, if everything continues on this spiral and then in 2028 JD Vance is the Republican candidate does he have to own everything that happened under Trump? Or does he get a pass like Harris did for Biden's presidency? It's going to be funny watching the hypocrisy of the left on this.

i've seen people mad that the Cheifs only have to play the NFC South. But we play against the AFC East and thats not much different then the South.

Election Day/Week/Month 2024 Results
boyst replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You've been around long enough i would have expected you to know it's not a "me" thing. I am a libertarian (lower case) who sometimes finds himself in classical liberal territory while encroaching on the conservative systems more and more I don't need reflection. I know exactly what happened. The world was lied to about who represents what this country is about and who was going to win the election. Those who are not sure or don't understand the results today need to examine their news outlets and what they are being told for starters. The Republicans didn't win as much as the voters announced that what has been needed to be unburdened by what will be. -

it's funny seeing how some people are behaving. the same people who were saying they knew all along Trump had this and would win are now spiking the ball in the faces of the Harris supporters. It's classless. If you knew you were going to win, if you came out to dominate your opponent, then chose to to stick around afterwards to gloat it's just bizarre dude. I don't want to hear the nonsense people were called garbage, Nazi's, or other words. Just words. -
It's funny. The person who's famous for being famous and a candidate because of her gender and race made her strongest sound clip of "I'm speaking." Yet, she hasn't come out to say anything in over 12 hours.

That and the popular vote is significant. Take away just 2 things and you'll realize a majority of people that you come across support trump even if your immediate friends and relationships don't: 1) Outside of NY, CA, Illinois strongholds of Urban/City areas which span more than just states as well - I think the stat i saw was 7 of 11 people you see when Trump. 2) Most people who vote for a candidate don't see themselves in that candidate or even believe they're something more than the best option of the available choices to represent them on governing role. It's obvious: Old man yells at clouds.

Election Day/Week/Month 2024 Results

There were protests in Seattle and stuff like that but it was more just chaos and stupid stuff at large metro areas similar to after a team wins a championship. -
He can't play special teams, which is important in Baltimore. If he is pressed to start it'll be a very tough position for him in the very physical AFC North.

I had to think back on this a lot more than I realized. I don't remember much - seriously, I locked myself out of my computera bitkey Friday with a password ive used for 12 years - but I remember clearly a number of cars being burned, including a few DC Police SUV's. I don't know that the media was yet big on reporting the whole chaos and protests for profit like they did just a few years later -
The simulator it has is random at best. But you can insert your own picks and playoffs

I didn't hear any of that but assumed if he would be traded it would be for an equal amount disappointment player kind of deal.

Prior to Coleman's injury I had heard Samuel was a possibility to move.
