  1. that would mean we win the super bowl. cbs is going to do everything in their power to keep that game. every network gets to pick a game they protect. shirley cbs will choose this game.
  2. thats how much the game has changed since he left it. the first two years out of hte league he knew every play and look. now it's changed drastically.
  3. It wasn't even hanging by the next I saw it in person.
  4. hold on buying tickets. it's way too early. your best bet is to wait until as late as Thursday or even Friday. If the weather is looking bad you can wait until Saturday or even Sunday morning when people decide they don't want to go spend a night in bad weather. as a sunday night game people will flake out on it with seasons. the ticket you will buy on sunday morning is the ticket selling for $1,000 now. the fool who listed them too high will not drop his prices to sell the tickets like everyone else and firesale it last minute when he realized he priced his ticket too high. i haven't looked at tickets but by my experience and expectations two tickets in the lower bowl between the 20's for a sunday night game with average dec 1 weather should be about $250 without fees. with bad weather it will drop to below $150.
  5. the hidden problem is that most men don't want women engaged in sports or watching football so they can get alone time from women. 3 hours of escape from the real world and women is a highlight for some men
  6. This matchup is always good with Detroit but it's one of those teams like Green Bay. We always seem to win. 1 loss in almost 30 years and 10 matchups. Always close, always tough, always an injury. But we win. We win this one.
  7. I'm more worried about the Detroit turf than I am the Detroit football team.
  8. This is the best place I can put it. But it's amazing how good Can Lewis is and he's only the backup. He could start most places. We are lucky to have him and Johnson
  9. bigly different injuries. Milano should trend up faster. also younger.
  10. There was 0 heckling I heard of the chiefs fans at the game. Not one bit of it during the game or in the stadium. I heard good games to folks as we left. Saw plenty of people talking to them asking if they enjoyed their visit to Buffalo. There were hundreds of kids under 12 visiting, too. I asked a few parents with kids if they got any heat or had problems. All said they had none and it was a pleasure.
  11. He's not even at his floor. This is clearly a joke. Williams has been a step or two late every read in pass coverage. He's like Edmunds but smaller. Edmunds made up for his slow reads and poor position with his size and athleticism. Williams just has athleticism. The chiefs picked on him. They couldn't run on us because our DL played strong. No credit to Williams though he did spy on Mahomes successfully a few times. No easy feat.

  13. Niners are favored to win, too
  14. while this is not the original topic it's worth adding: Steelers : 8-2 @Browns @Bengals Browns @Eagles @Ravens Chiefs Bengals Ravens : 7-4 @Chargers Eagles Bye @Giants Steelers @Texans Browns Texans : 7-4 Titans @Jaguars Dolphins @Chiefs Ravens @Titans Steelers will drop at least one to their divisional, the Eagles tend to collapse, the Swifts game will be a big test - they may drop as many as 3 of the remaining ames Ravens should not lose more than one game - Eagles, Steelers, Texans. But could lose in the division and are not playing good football right now. Texans are going to get healthier and stand a chance to win the next few going into KC with a 3 game streak at 10-4. They will lose to the Ravens or the Chiefs.
  15. for game day experience charlotte will be about the best road destination for 2025. a definite win, tons of Bills fans in a huge takeover. and the bills fans in carolina always do it up for the incoming folks.
  16. If we get the opener like that I'd expect it to be a big draw. Phili, KC, or Baltimore
  17. We will open with Cinci
  18. He's a wr. We need his hands.
  19. Listening to serious NFL radio, this is the third time I've heard it from a journalist Evidently the Chiefs players were quite chirpy walking up the tunnel beside the Bills players. Telling them so far as enjoy your regular season win, the bills won't win the playoffs. Evidently the cheese players were quite upset at the end.
  20. Couple notes worth throwing here: The red roof in Hamburg is terrible. It's always been a little shady but it is far and away dangerous now. More importantly, after the game the thousands of Chiefs fans that attended were treated fine. No one heckling or calling names, no one taunting or laughing at them. There were many kids there 6-7 and up. Adults were walking by them telling them good game, asking if they enjoyed their experience. This is why so many chiefs fans come to town.
  21. They looked normal. People were taking home broken pieces of it Also thought Watt looked a lot smaller than I'd imagined. He's 6'5 and maybe 240/250
  22. Evidently traffic is still horrible there. I know this is one of the first times that I've not been able to have cell signal around there, I parked over a mile away from the stadium got to my vehicle at 7:45, got out of traffic at 8:05. And I'm now in Erie Pennsylvania Anything going east is a mess, shut down completely. I've never seen it so bad
