Chiropractic Care Thread. Trust? Opinions or Experiences Please Share

Be very mindful of any neck massages and any neck "work" by anyone other than a truly medically trained person. I have heard horror stories from massages where the muscles were so relaxed that essentially it caused the older/briddle bones to crack and stress fracture all the way up to blood clots forming from severe muscle strain during massage. My neighbor at the farm paralyzed a 67 yr old woman massaging her. She was a masseuse for 30+ years and the woman had spasms from the massage later which put stress fractures into her neck essentially and bulging discs in the cervical discs. It's a weird story to explain she does it better. -

find a DO. doc of osteopathy. find one in the sports medicine world if possible. they can order the mri to get more information and help direct you to the right path. i have two complete ruptures in my l5/s1 and l4/l5 with significant weakness and still exercise fully, run, climb, etc. it's possible because of commitment to maintaining what is left of my body. DO's and sports med are more than just for sports. -

for common basic things like this PT's can be useful. but if you want your money's worth also ask to pay cash, avoid insurance. i had some severe tearing in my shoulder i needed work with. insurance would cover very little - 3 things over 8 weeks: stretching/massage, DN, and heat/cold therapy. out of pocket i paid just a little more and added strength work, mobilization exercises. etc. insurance for PT is gross. insurance in general is gross. it's not usually practical for healthy people. its ok for the fats and lazy just to get a grasp of knowledge or time fixing themselves. -

look into seeing a DO, as well. they can do a lot to do alignment corrections and diagnosis. they can also make sure you get to the right kind of Physical Therapist. If you want a good PT never use one that takes insurance. they're NEVER good. Like DrD said the can be useful. However, never let them crack your neck or anything cervical. there are dozens of cases a day that go unreported where chircos "crack" or "adjust" a neck and internally decapitate someone. high velocity maneuvers are very dangerous. DO's dont do them, nor do PT's. also like he said don't do some 8 visit treatment specialty. a lot of corporate places will trick you into this. after 2-3 visits over the course of a month to 6 weeks you'll know if its worth it. i highly recommend going to a good body work specialist LMBT, a PT, and DO. I get body work every 2 weeks, go to a PT at least 2 times a month, and DO 3 times a year. i'm also very active/athletic and now busted. -
it does but having him on your roster in case you don't get the qb you want or even worse - you do and he isn't the qb you expected - at least you have fields.
-
fields still has potential. i'd go so far as give next years 1st and conditional picks if i an Minnesota. even as far as a 2026 1st round conditional
-
chicago has no business trading him. draft your qb. do the cousins/rgiii routine. having 2 birds in the hand isn't a bad thing unless you can win immediately and use the one bird to just get better. bears aren't winning the north for at least 2 years. why not keep both and see what happens.
-
vikings should trade for Fields.
-
i'd love to be able to sign him to a team friendly team or something but the social media post thanking him for his time in buffalo says that ain't happening.

if we go from Morse to Connor Williams I will vomit. I'd not mind Connor McGovern, though. Just to have two of the same name on the roster playing side by side. Two Connor McGoverns as better than 1. Humphries or Linderbaum were right there in our hands. damn it. it was the obvious freaking move!!!!! also, how is it that i mentioned 3 different connors in the same freaking post....freaking gen z.

need to drag the waiver wire on LB depth. elsewise we will dredge the FA pool come November when we need just 1 competent fill in position for depth. Some interesting names there. Randy Gregory, Isaiah Simmons, Bud Dupree, Shaq Leonard. Isaiah Simmons would not be cheap but he's an interesting player - 6'4 - 240 has played safety and end.

i'm talking about Ladd not being a great prospect. Ladd will be a 3rd WR with his skillset and on this team maybe 5th. Samuel will be a 3rd/4th in this offense behind Shakir and a rookie.

The Bills will be better in 2024 and everyone overreacted

no, we will not. even if the record is better we will not be better as a team. 2025 we have a chance. we are retooling a year too late. -
diggs runs an elite route tree.

Not strong enough to break man press or at the line will hamper that speed where in the NFL DB's are just as fast. His smaller stature, his twitch, his everything... I don't want him outside. I'd put him inside more to a slot.
-
I liked him. Wish we would have kept him
-
Nah. Dude isn't a down field threat.
-
Great option at 3/4

i could see pennix there at 28 and seattle calling us to trade for 28. give us this years second, third, and next years 1st and a conditional.... i'd bite in a heartbeat. doe anyone realize how under the cap we are for 2025?! only for MHJ

I can't believe the woman asked that. I'm going to find your instagram, find a recent post that has nothing to do with your work, then ask you to take a pay cut publicly.

he needs to get fully guaranteed. if the chiefs are desperate to do another super bowl run and agreeing to a contract that backloads the guarantee, though. i just don't see them being that foolish

i trust cousins more than jackson.
