How'd you get here? Went to see Korn a few months ago. The mosh pit of mid 30 to 40 yr olds was about the funniest thing I ever saw.

What does getting police involved mean? "Officer, we were in a crowded place with lots of people at a sports event where it was cold and people want to go home and one of them was in a hurry who was probably drinking pushed past my daughter and she "almost slipped and fell" but hit her ribs." What are the police supposed to do? It was an accident by a guy being a jerk because he was in a hurry, allegedly.

Which is a big nothing burger. She "almost slipped" but her mother made it sound like she had trauma. It's all crap. The police were there and did nothing when they had the chance. Nothing resulted. That's justice.

I'm gonna be that guy to say this just has stinks all over it. I'm sure some fan was obnoxious at a football game, I'm sure some fan was shoulder to shoulder with everyone else and may have bumped others trying to get out of the stands. We have all seen that. Maybe. The guy had been drinking, maybe the guy was a little rough or too far with his haste to leave and bumped a small child who slipped. But, the dad didn't do anything (either because he's weak or it wasn't justified) but the fans around didn't either. And the police didn't. I've been to games where I've seen fights happen and the fans 100% stopped it. From a playoff game in Houston where the perp was run down and tackled to a Bills game where a guy was driving recklessly and when he came to stop ripped from his car and beaten up with keys in car and police alerted. This just seems too f'n weird. In a world where people use their children for fame, women post breast feeding videos to promote their OF, where all sorts of shameless acts occur i can easily imagine the mother posting something exaggerating the situation not realizing (or maybe realizing) that it would blow up and now is cashing in on it. Hell, the Buffalo Bills just said they will help the girl out. So, she's gonna get $$$$$ on godundme which all goes to her parents and then so much more. Just don't like this. Don't believe this one face value. There would be a whole lot more to this, including video, if it went down like this.

Those thinking he needs time to get back into shape don't get a few things... First, is that it's Hyde and he's likely stayed in shape because he is just that kind of dude. Id bet he even has kept football training up, too. And the most important thing is that these guys, especially ones like Hyde, are elite levels athletes that don't need the training, and work any other athlete would need. These guys already have the "it" factor. The rust would be moving with the velocity in games/situations, and the mental refresh. If Hyde wanted to I would bet he could return to the team and be game ready in 2 weeks.

The flaw will be getting over the top of our safeties which isn't easy. To do that you need 2 things: WR who can do it Time to get them deep I don't see either of those being likely.

That team is the antithesis of the Bills. Lots of names you know. Tau, waddle, Hill, Poyer, Chubb, Beckham, mostert, achane, Ramsey, Smith, barrios, Campbell, armstead... But as a whole the sum of parts doesn't equal the quality of success needed to win ball games. Character is just a little footnote to success and too often used by the lesser qualified and lesser talented as an excuse to limit expectations. McDaniel is not as good as he is given credit for, his behavior writes checks he can't cash, and his skill is limited to be nothing more than an OC/offensive talent. Simply put: McDaniel cannot run a football team but he can make an offrnse.

Ya know I should close this thread since Hamlin is leading Pro bowl votes. But, honestly, I think Poyer was really dragging Hyde down. It's a shame, both were amazing as a duo.

Yes it was a helmet to helmet, no debate. But after all these stunts quarterbacks have been pulling with fake slides, big duck out of bounds, etc. it is no surprise he got popped.

Still a designed run call where he wasn't a QB but a runner. Still a penalty because it was helmet to helmet. You don't want QBs end up like this? Don't let them run the ball.

that and people like names they can remember and stick around and have staying power. when you hear a name over and over again and it's notable it helps. like in any selection process- if you have a name people recognize or can remember you're far more likely to win.

If that score wasn't made on the first play we would have had an entirely different game. The Bills seemingly gave up just down 1 TD.

I've been wondering what it would be like to have a big body LB who can play nickel. Taron Johnson is smaller. Cooper DeJean isn't big either, barely bigger than Johnson. I can't think of a template player but someone who could cover the TE, 6'+, and 220. Basically, a pass coverage LB but strictly nickel.
