  1. my bad. Duke. virtually, the same school. Graham Barton
  2. Amazing the IOL from Pennsylvania state University is there still.
  3. Nothing yet for plants. We are behind. Need to redo the whole yard. Just too ... Haven't done it yet. Tom left after getting doxed and threatened a few times. Jim can't be anyone's nemesis. He doesn't care enough haha
  4. hyperbole is fun. but seriously, it never ceases to amaze me browsing social media and seeing the numerous crimes blatantly posted by the individuals committing them. There is an entire IG profile for a man who drives a supposedly stolen modded up Z06 wrecklessly, outrunning cops, etc.
  5. in 2024? almost all of them. it is almost surreal. Go back to the 60's. Go back to the early 80's. people would be blown away at the activities of our culture and the desire to express everything for verification. it's gross.
  6. I don't use ppp much at all anymore. But I don't understand the hole you climbed out of in the last 4 years when I was away from here. I can't figure out which poster you used to be or if you're just someone new?
  7. From Richmond, I'd get on 70 and head to Dayton. It's big enough to support you and small enough not to be overpopulated. Plus Wright Patterson AFB is awesome.
  8. Sirius NFL was saying that with the new kickoff rules they think a few teams may consider having two kickers for a while. I really cannot fathom it or how it is going to be that beneficial.
  9. went through a total eclipse and was right above the epicenter of it in '94. It was pretty gnarly. The full effect maximum eclipse point was at it's peak just South of us by 20 miles. I was 13. We had to sneak out of lunch to see it because they knew the kids would be looking at the sun.
  10. 1 or 2 games depending what the police cook up. i don't care that he is an nfl player. the social media trendy crap of racing cars on the highway needs to be curbstomped. however, he's not one of us so he will get favorable treatment.
  11. i hate that police can do that. it seems like an invasion of the 4th.
  12. i don't know for certain but i think Kirbs is in the camp of 2024 being a retool year. knowing, like many of us in this camp that our team isn't a top 4-6 talent. i think our goal should be much lower than the last 4-5 years. Win the East. Make the playoffs. Win a game. build depth. Go in 2025 in a decent cap space and if we have some extra premium picks than cool because this year has quality depth.
  13. Id take that in a heartbeat
  14. Part A) men under 40 are vastly different regardless of their generation to being connected to emotions and maturity. men under 30 are greatly different than men who have settled own some. women talk to each other routinely about hteir feelings, their day, etc. i know maybe 5 guys that generally chit chat. and as men get involved with fatherhood, etc. men generally shut down and become much more subdued to focus on their family and use that as their driving force and impetus of self worth. b) i don't think anyone can say what CTE may or may not have done. i read a study somewhere last month that more and more non-professional and non-contact sports people have been diagnosed with it over the last so many years. i think ti's still growing a bunch in the way we understand it and its role.
  15. The ... I don't even know where to begin because I have thought about it plenty as I age and can think it out occasionally but then stumble. Men can't feel in modern society. Men can't show emotions or react to situations. Too easily we simply overreact because of various reasons. Or too many times we don't know how to react. I don't know where what or how or why but somewhere men have not adapted and evolved like women. Anything must be done at this point.
  16. rip. too young. mens mental health needs to be brought to the forefront. it is all too easily forgotten and ignored in the cacophony of humanity.
  17. Olaf Pilors, 360 guard who benches 225 67 times, ran a 4.8 40, and saved some puppies and children in an orphanage fire. played in canada.
  18. strangulation is the number 1 predicative indicator of domestic violence turning into murder of the partner.
  19. the dude is in the league. it's going to be warshed over real quick. fall guys in place, etc. anyone thinking the guy gets any real punishment from law enforcement is silly. he's not like us - he is protected. he probably won't even get penalized for the league.
  20. Angel Reese is a nuisance but their coach is one of the most interesting people in the sport for women. Caitlin Clark is extremely good and will go on to have a wnba career. Essentially, after they graduate we won't hear of or about with ever again.
  21. Execute on site to anyone street racing. Tired of this and the social media clout chasers. Bullet to the brain stem. The video of this is amazing.
  22. I did miss that team somehow, hard to get good depth charts on older teams beyond just a roster. I had been going back on my cell phone for teams after 14-15ish. I had started after the early Miami run of the 00's on my work computer and needless to say I will never work on a computer without 3 screens. It has spoiled me. I didn't factor in teams where a team had a guy go on to NFL success and he didn't start or get significant backup time. Like the years with najee Harris and others at Alabama - and I don't consider Harris a good NFL player.
