  1. “Yoga can be just as effective as weights when it comes to building a stronger, more impressive physique,” says Nicholas DiNubile, M.D. "Yoga is great for flexibility, for strength, and for posture and balance," said Dr. Rachel Rohde, a spokeswoman for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an orthopedic surgeon for the Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Mich. Google is your friend chefsue
  2. Try a basic pose- downward dog, and upward dog. In yoga you hold poses 3 minutes. Those exercises smoke my tri's, shoulders, chest, back, hamstrings, calves. Try and hold those poses for 3 minutes, and then tell me it doesn't build strength https://www.google.com/search?q=downward+dog+upward+fog&rlz=1C1CHWA_enUS629US633&espv=2&biw=1018&bih=483&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAmoVChMI356FwcqzyAIVyNQeCh1pmAaf#tbm=isch&q=downward+dog+upward+&imgrc=8FUt8pdKLDtn1M%3A here is a body built by yoga- https://www.google.com/search?q=downward+dog+upward+fog&rlz=1C1CHWA_enUS629US633&espv=2&biw=1018&bih=483&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAmoVChMI356FwcqzyAIVyNQeCh1pmAaf#tbm=isch&q=downward+dog+upward+&imgrc=s-V0JlyP_stkhM%3A Because it was insinuated that yoga does not build muscles. I pointed out that is a fallacy. Yoga does a lot more then build mass. Read this article on Tony Parrish. Yoga changed his life http://www.bikramyogaevanston.com/?id=168
  3. and I don't know about you, but I workout to look good and be athletic. There is a lot more to a muscle then just mass. Athletic muscles are also flexible, cooridinated, balanced, fast, have endurance, etc. A flexible muscle is a stronger muscle. He honed those muscles and built that core with yoga. The probodx workout I alluded to earlier in this thread was big with a few athletes such as Troy Palamalu. With Probodx- you never life a weight over 10#s. You don't have to put up 405 to be strong. I myself for years would rep out at 315. But that is hell on your joints after awhile. Now I do probodx, yoga, and a few others . I don't put up big weight, but I feel stronger, and I am faster and more athletic
  4. oh yeah? https://www.google.com/search?q=tony+parrish+yoga&rlz=1C1CHWA_enUS629US633&espv=2&biw=1018&bih=523&tbm=isch&imgil=S_NU0RhIRT5DVM%253A%253Bue1yCSQsgntssM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.kidzworld.com%25252Farticle%25252F26207-yoga-for-pro-athletes&source=iu&pf=m&fir=S_NU0RhIRT5DVM%253A%252Cue1yCSQsgntssM%252C_&usg=__f05qlCrqOXcN9DG7ZbMj83TVHd8%3D&ved=0CDYQyjdqFQoTCIiMrsHFs8gCFcSlHgodXQEFUA&ei=FbsWVsitGcTLet2ClIAF#imgrc=S_NU0RhIRT5DVM%3A&usg=__f05qlCrqOXcN9DG7ZbMj83TVHd8%3D
  5. thank you. Nice we get Aaron Williams and John Miller back. And Leodis and Sammy are getting close
  6. thats promising. We need you Sammy!
  7. yes sir. Here is hoping Karlos/Sammy/Shady or at least 1 of them can play. Dixon starting is scary
  8. Beau Fleuve (beautiful river)
  9. I have been working out for 30 years and have tried most every workout- hiit, probodx, crossfit, etc. Yoga is as difficult a workout as there is. Don't believe me? Go do a 90 minute Bikrim yoga workout and get back to me
  10. Lets keep our eyes on oline- namely tackles and center. Max Tuerk, Dan Voltz, and NIck Martin are a few centers to keep an eye on. Jack Conklin, Taylor Decker, John Ifedi are a few tackles that might be available at pick 31
  11. Thank you Terry and Kim! Long live the Pegula's! And thank you Ralph!
  12. I am in CT on the RI border now- it looks like everything is down towards New York. Anna Liffeys is a great pub, I am happy to hear it's a Bills bar. Try their Shepards Pie
  13. Walk softly and carry a big stick
  14. The first step is admitting you have a problem. Bills anonymous- my name is Pete and I am a Bills fan Denial Anger Bargaining Depression Acceptance
  15. That Rex is so proud of that debacle
  16. Points is what wins. I don't give a **** if we give up 500 yards passing as long as we win
  17. And I live in CT and wear Bills gear almost daily. I live smack dab in Giants/Patriots country and most of my friends are fans of one of those 2 teams. For the love of God, can we beat the Giants and Patriots once please? You better believe I have been hearing all about it the past 25 years. What the !@#$ is Rex proud of? His 2-2 record?
  18. Yes. In fact I just traded Joseph Randle for Alshon in one of my leagues
  19. I concur 100%. WTF is there to be proud of? Missed tackles, missed field goals, stupid penalty after stupid penalty, getting their ass whupped by a mediocre team, atrocious offensive line play, losing the turnover battle, fair catches and muffed punts, no pass rush, etc. STF Rex and get some wins. Schwartz only rushed 4 and got 54 sacks. You and your zillion blitz schemes dropping Jerry Hughes in coverage and putting Kyle at DE are retarded. Are you on the Pats payroll? How can you take the defensive talent on the ball and render them impotent? FU Rex. Show me the bully
  20. No brainer. Heck we could devote the whole draft to the oline round 1 LT round 2 C round 3 RT round 4 G round 5 G/C round 5 TE
