  1. what this huge pus.sy does not understand is that we have long passed the point where we feeling like hearing anyone's excuses after yet another bad loss. i don't care what the guy did mario. he is a chump udfa with 1 nfl start and he took your 100million dollar as.s to the cleaners. and more to the point, i don't want hear 1 more excuse/alibi/explanation/clarification from any of these guys about anything until we don't suck anymore. that includes nix, gailey, fitzgarbage, johnson or any of the rest of them. all we ever get in buffalo is excuses and alibis and more suck every year. i don't want to hear from any of them until they become a winning team. and while i am thinking about it...wtf is it with our 3rd round wr at a position of need not even being active? while the jets 2nd rounder is dancing in our endzone all day. on that basis alone i am ready to blow it up.
  2. i say 5 wins
  3. wait- i thought the 2010 draft wasn't his fault?
  4. they make me want to stick my head in the sink and vomit.
  5. i laughed when i saw he was inactive before the game. a 3rd round pick at a position of weakness can't get on the sideline? meanwhile, the jets 2nd round wr is celebrating in our endzone. wtf is going on down there?
  6. It was that drive during the PGh game that everyone should have realized we were in trouble. I know I did.
  7. Man It sucks. The stench of this one is going to be with us for a long time.
  8. my bad...all the great memories just blend together and you start forgetting details.
  9. i think he's wrong. jets beat us in ot with a punt return TD in 2002....on opening day in buffalo.
  10. i'm going to cut the grass.
  11. what are you talking about? are we not right every year?
  12. this looks a lot like the pre-season. which we all know meant nothing. amazing how garbagey fitz has been so far. whatever they paid david lee they should ask for it back.
  13. stop letting this idiot throw the ball
  14. Bill, you are the man....now lets hope our key players will MAN up and not get pushed around as they usually do against this team. i might add i am looking for our linebackers to make plays against the run. i'll be surprised if they dominate, but it would be nice if they just didn't suck.
  15. you're picking out 2 isolated incidents, i am talking about a trend that has been in place since the Marv-drafts. I do not believe it is a coincidence we lose so many man-games every year. nor do i think it is because Rusty Jones isn't on the payroll. i think it is because we are missing so much in the first 3, or even 4 rounds...you know, where other teams' starting line-ups come from. But since Buddy has already been given a pass for the 2010 draft and everyone is already convinced the '11 and '12 drafts are awesome beyond question...I guess i am just worring about nothing. Or i am too "negative." i am hoping for a win of course.my guess: we'll be in it all day, only to give up a late long drive (aided by a dubious call from a replacement ref) to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...and by tomorrow morning there will be half-a-dozen threads started complaining about wanny. go ahead and slam me...but i am into my 5th decade of this futility!
  16. wasn't this really the issue last year? from 5-2 to 1-9 and the most players on IR...it amazes me how many fans treat that like a coincidence. Fact: we are one of the most injured teams every year. my opinion is that we have too many low-round pick and UDFAs playing too-prominent roles on our team too stay in the race past Thankgiving. I know our "depth" is supposed to be inproved but I am not sure I buy it. The real issue will be what it has been for a long time: when your 1st-3rd round picks fail as routinely as the Bills' do, you wind up with inferior players palying too much. And thse guys get hurt. Hope I am wrong. I could use a good season for once. And they are the most likeable Bills team I can ever remember. So go Bills. ps: Chan...please don't have fitz drop back 30 times a week. he's not that good.
  17. i'd rather have lynch and fred jackson and then have used spiller's pick on a linebacker
  18. if the bills make the playoffs this year it will be one of the all time greaest sandbag jobs in sports history. we have a below-average qb average OL below average receivers led by an average-at-best #1 receiver RBs are better than average but unfortunately Gailey doesn't like to run. we all agree the DL is very good, however... DB corps is average Linebacking Sucks With A Capital S we do have good kickers i guess how does add up to 10-6 and playoffs? i have no idea but i hope it does. oh and we are one of the most perenially injured teams in the NFL. people talk about last year being a freak bad luck year with injuries but we get hammered every year. and our back ups have been run over in every pre-season game so far. just physically beaten. 10-6? i'd predict 7 or 8 wins based on our schedule.
  19. was it brooks we got with that pick? i HOPE that guy makes me eat raw effing crow because i thought it was a really stupid move to trade evans for a 4th. i love it when i'm worng about my Bills!
  20. cmon man it was not coe's record!! i'll cut you slack because i know you're young (weretn you hurdling for brockport just a few years ago??) but.... kipketer broke coes record rudisha broke kipketers record. rudisha for all his awesomeness has only run .2 seconds faster than kipketer did in 1997. 2 tenths of a second. there is one more diamond league meet and i personally think the record will drop by another 6 or 7 tenths, but still...
  21. when they rolled those white collar jersies out i was bummed because i thouugh "why mess with awesome?" but they didn't look bad to me...i agree they look like they have those old neck rolls we used to wear in the 70s. NOW LEAVE THEM THE EFF ALONE!!!
  22. yes. thank you. nothing funnier than watching stick and ball people (announcers mainly...have to give the casual fans like TBD brothers a pass) talk about track and field. of course bolt is fast enough. assuming he could catch a ball, all you'd havve to do is send him out on a fly patternevery single play and the only way they'd cover him is to tie up 2-3 guys...playing them 20 yards of the ball. he is a complete phenomenon and the quintessential "freak of nature." one look at him should confirm that, but moreover, even a cursory knowledge of track should allow anyone to figure out a t6'5" should never be able to get up to that kind of velocity that quickly. is he doping? probably. but so is everyone else. certainly gatlin is and definitely most of the nfl. so why not ply in the nfl? because he even if he could catch (and we have no idea about that of course)he'd be a fool to turn down the money he makes as the greatest sprinter in history. he's as famous as ali in his prime. the guy is leading a charmed life. my only complaint is thart i hate the mugging and showboating. but then again i'm old. the world loves this guy and he's never gotta worry about getting broken to bits in the nfl. olympic sprinting is dirty, but NFLis pure filth when it comes to PEDs. drug testing in the NFL is really just an IQ test. trust me. they work way harder to catch sprinters and they are still not very good at it. nfl is like the wink-wink nudge-nudge of drug testing.
