the freaking MORONS had a chance to do a REAL SEASRCH for a REAL coach and gm....and the went the easy and cheap route yet agaiin....now here we are...again. that's why Ralph, or whoever is making decisions these days is so goddam stupid. and before you tell me it's not their fault because no one good wanted to come here...all they would have had to do is ridiculously overpay for whomever they wanted...like they did for the big pu$$y mario...and they would have wound up saving money and we'd have an actual nfl-caliber team to root for. but this has been Ralph's m.o. for years, so there no surprise. just back up the mayflower vans and get it over with already... what a loser failed owner this guy is. gee i thought i was the only one. on the plus side, i haven't wasted money on a pro sports ticket in several years.

Bills sign OL Reggie Wells. Colin Brown to IR.
jester43 replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Aren't you supposed to only use Belinda in the subject line? I still use it that way when I email my team. I have them trained and they all know what it means now. If I send a note with the subject "short team meeting at 4 today- belinda" they all show up and they don't ask what Belinda is. Love this place. Still. -
i know (cue the haters)....he's a hack...he's too negative...234521 people on tbd write better...etc. etc. bla bla. i thought the column on obscure nobodies lighting up our rush defense was hilarious. cause really, there is nothing else to do, but laugh after this many years of sucking. in case you can't find your way to the main page the link is here: http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121002/SPORTS/121009885/two-bills-drive oh and by the way, our owner is in the hall of fame...lol.

you're not referring to my plan i hope? i have left all those rivalries intact. it does eliminate most of the home-and-homes, but i contend that, in the bills' case for example, during a year we had no home game with miami we could certainly count on, say, the pittsburgh game to sell out. and it also makes the one home-and-home that you get each season more exciting, and a bigger story for the fans. more important: we gotta do away with these 4 team divisions. idon't care what anyone says...it is a complete travesty that anyone EVER gets in the playoffs with a poorer record than someone else. my four-division realignmnet scenario makes that all but impossible. rkfast you can say it is a bad idea now...but let's see how you feel when the bills go 10-6 and miss the playoffs...while the broncos or someone gets in with 9-7.

Official "Dinner's On Me, Smartass" Update Thread

i consider the fact i got the 1st 3 right to be a miracle. i don't think i've ever made it this far. -
than what you're saying is you think my plan is awesome and deserves to be implemented right away. cmon guys i am just sitting here waiting for the accolades to start pouring in!! i have solved the problem!

I don't nderstand what you mean? we'd play pats, fish, jets, steelers, browns bengals and steelers once a year and one of them would be played twice. we'd only see tampa when our finish in the division matched up with theirs. personally, i like keeping our old rivalies too. i'd also like to see the natural rivalries with cleveland and pgh and baltimore intensified.
-
I offer to solve this problem for the whole world every year or two but so far no has been bold enough to do the right thing. To PROPERLY realign the nfl, we go to FOUR divisions: AFC EAST buf pit mia balt ny jets cleve cincy pats AFC West rams raiders chargers seattle indy DENVER kc 49ers NFC North bears giants eagles detroit greenbay washington bears vikings NFC South Dallas saints jaguars panthers cardinals tampa houston falcons this maintains MOST of the big rivalries and gives the NFL it's best chance at a true regional feel...WHICH I THINK FANS WOULD LOVE. How would the schedule work? 1. YOU would play 6 of the 7 other teams in your division ONCE a year (alternating home and away from one year to the next, of course). You would have ONE home-and-home in your division, which would rotate annually. 2. You would play four teams from the opposite division in your conference once...these will rotate predictably 3. You would play two games against teams from each diviison in the opposite conference based on where you placed in your division the year before....i.e: if the bills finished 1st or 2nd they'd play the 1st and 2nd place teams from the nfc north and south the following year. If they finished 5th they'd play the 5th and 6th place teams from those divivisions. ONLY THE WINNER of each division qualifies for the playoffs and gets the first round bye. And whoever did it would certainly be a deserving winner. the other 4 teams in each conference would be wild cards, chosen the way they are chosen now. In my scenario, winning your 8 team division would really be something to celebrate,..in contrast with the current 4 team division garbage that lets 9-7 or 8-8 teams routinely. You'd have to be a stud team to win it, no doubt. and we could keep that 8-8 seattle crap out of the playoffs (not to mention gifting them with a home playoff game they don't deserve) for good. I ALSO think it would be really exciting if all our traditional rivals came to town every other year like they do in college football. i think the home fish or pats game would mean more to the fans if you had to wait 2 years for the next one. YOU'RE WELCOME!!

Fred "disappointed" after today's practice
jester43 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
am i the only one who thinks white is quicker to the hole and tougher to bring down? i'd like to see him at least splitting carries with choice 50/50. -
what the hell is "madden?" statistically it is the smarter play to for it on 4th and one from the 50 vs punting. but nfl coaches are chicken schidts.
-
ok good now lets pray we have an nfl running back dressing for us next week.
-
DISAGREE. especially from midfield...this line should be able to hand it to me and get the last yard. if not me, then you.
-
IF THIS O-LINE IS SO DAMN GOOD LET'S MAKE A STATEMENT RIGHT NOW.
-
GO FOR IT!!!!!!
-
did george injure mckelvin on that huge hit?
-
so what did we net 12 yards on that punrt? i told you we should have gone for it.
-
i say go for it.

Pessimists, lets here it
jester43 replied to Optometric Insight's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
although i loved what i saw today, i guess i am a pessimist. i don't think this is a good team, and i have coaching concerns. anyway, let's just see them when a road game. it's been over a year. on the other hand i am one of 41 survivors in the smartass dinner contest and i picked a win next week so i hope they hold it together! -
hey cmon we drafted losman and edwards to hold down the qb spot for 10 years! they should both still be here lighting it up! the issue is the same as it's been since ralph fired polian and ran butler out of town...we don't have good enough people hiring and firing coaches and GMs. we don't have gooed enough people evaluating talent. despite the available evidence to the contrary, i got tricked this off-season into thinking that buddy and chan were an exception to this rule...but we all got a cold bucket of water dumped on us last week didn't we? on the other hand there is: the 2010 draft chan trying to "coach up" edwards chan sticking with fitzawful when the whole rest of the nfl has figured out he can't throw deep down the middle. the laughable vince young experiement and subsequent trading a pick for a back up that wasn't ready to dress not dressing a 3rd round wr....which is a position of desparate need...because he's "not ready." after 4 months he's not ready?! wtf! sorry guys...i find them very likable too, but buddy and chan are not capable of bringing us a winner....the fault lies at the top with a man who clearly hasn't been capable of making front office personnel decisions for a very long time. and yes.... no serious search for GM and a constant stream of retread dinosaur coaches = ralph is cheep

jester43 replied to IDBillzFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i picked 9-7 after the draft...i'm still alive, but i lollllld at some of the games i had the bills winning back in the spring. i don't expect to survive september. -
lol...yeah the bills never take a beating do they? only for the last 12 years. this is supposed to be THE YEAR we turn it around and that's how they start? there is no excuse for that. the patriots game is not a fair comparison because we picked up Lawyer Malloy the week before and he gave us their playbook. otherwise we probably aren't in that game either.
