  1. I called today. Late I know. I went right to customer retention I think, said I wanted to cancel ST and HBO. All he offered was $5 off per payment. I said cancel. He said ok and did. I've been a customer since '00 with Sunday ticket he whole time. I'll call back tomorrow and tell them all the deals I've seen online and see what happens. If nothing, it's off to the sports bars for me.
  2. Love it, the perfect spot for him. Hopefully Woods, Graham, and the rest can fill out the wide spots.
  3. I have one of just about every Jim Kelly card made up to 1995. I would go to card shows and buy every one I saw. Sadly the collection has very little monetary value, but it is fun to look through. Tons of great pictures. I have a card holder wall frame in my bar room that I put all the Bills rookies from the glory years in. Looks nice and makes me happy.
  4. Very sad news, but I'm hopful that Jim will win this battle too. He is my all time favorite player in any sport. Kelly has been the first to admit he was an ass early in his career. Hell so was I, and if I was crazy rich, I'm sure it would have been worse. But he matured like most of us do and has been through a lot and seems like a genuinely good person now. No one can discount the positive influence he has had with his charity and there are not many better ambassadors to the city of Buffalo than #12. My prayers are with him and his family. Get well soon Jim!
  5. I was thinking the same thing, but then you just hope one of the assistants catch to the scheme and can keep it going.
  6. Agree with Buftex and went with Williams myself. When he was drafted, many thought he was more of a safety then. I think it will be a good fit for him and we'll finally see some of that 2nd round potential.
  7. C'mon, a pass that bounces 5 feet in front of you is pretty tough to come back on. Stevie was pretty defeated toward the end of the year I think. Watching balls fly 10 feet over your head will do that. The guy is a consistent performer and a real talent. We don't even know what we have in Woods let alone a UDFA like Rogers. Don't get me wrong I'm hoping for the best, but to insinuate that Stevie could lose his job anytime soon is crazy.
  8. Then you should get over to one of the EJ threads...
  9. Totally agree and I'd bet that this writer thinks that Wallace is a number 1. He's no more a 1 than Stevie. Wallace doesn't get you the tough catch on 3rd and 6 or the TD and a slick move from the 4 yard line. Stevie with his ridiculous moves just does things that other WR's can't do, and thats what gives Revis fits.
  10. I don't put Loften there either because of the short tenure. I certainly think Eric Moulds was better than what Stevie has done so far. Moulds was that typical #1 beast type of WR and the next best after Reed for me. I'm a fan of SJ for sure, and if he puts up 5 or 6 more good years than he can be in the discussion with Reed and Moulds.
  11. A nice redemption story, good to see he got his life together and made a difference in peoples live. Thanks for the links guys.
  12. Muncie was one of my favorites, played with his glasses on! I loved watching those Chargers teams play. http://www.spokeo.com/Chuck+Muncie+1/Jan+03+1981+Other+Photos
  13. NOt sure the point you're making here SJBF. I was responding to someone that said that true sports fans don't care about the PGA. I was disagreeing. Most big sports fans I know are into the PGA and watch at least the big tournies. I agree with you that reporting on Woods/Sergio targets a more casual golf fan, but that's not what I was talking about.
  14. Really? That tournament did huge ratings and the Woods/Sergio story was big news. All over the national talk shows. I think most true sports fans are into the PGA, especially when Tiger is involved. And I agree with 26cornerblitz and the like, GR has been all over the Bills.
  15. It seems like Brad Smith is the most logical based on his salary vs. contribution. Some of the old whippin' boys are gone like Kelsey and even George Wilson. I would expect Lindell to be cut too.
  16. What is the infatuation with trading players as soon as the Bills have the slightest amount of depth at a position. I can't believe we released Aaron Corp, should have traded him!
  17. how did you survive those 10 minutes? Would your life have changed if you knew about the pick earlier?
  18. Would like Eifert. Or another trade down
  19. Umm, that's Cecil Shorts III to you sir. I always loved Manu Tuiasosopo
  20. Kolb is many things, some good and some bad, but he is not overpaid. The Bills can get out at 1 year and $3m. That's an acceptable risk to me. Still would have liked to keep Levitre, but he is getting too much for a guard I would say.
  21. This is such weird thinking to me. We had a dismal pass rush and picked up the best pass rusher available (also Anderson). It filled a huge need. It just didn't work last year. Mario was hurt, Anderson got hurt, Wanstadt was a joke and Kyle W. had a down year. The move was still solid though.
  22. What do you want him to say "I'm here to try to win 8 games and lead the Bills to another year on the outside of the playoffs" I know we're not winning the Super Bowl this year, but if he doesn't say that, what kind of competitor would he be.
  23. Did you watch the video?, it's not that it's a long bomb, it's the trajectory of the ball and they type of play. I'm not a Fitz hater, but he never seemed to make that throw.
  24. The 35 yard TD to Fitzgerald in the Eagles game on the video is exactly the type of pass that has been missing from the offense during the Fitzpatric era. So at least there's that. Now if only we had a WR like Larry.
  25. "Where Mediocrity Happens" What can I say, I'm an optimist.
